effortless pant

I just bought a pair of the white linen version in the store. I Didn't want to wait to try them on so I waited until I got home to try on and I love them! I wish I had tried them on because I would have bought another pair! I just went online and bought them in black because they are so lovely and classic! I would get them in all colors if I could afford them!

Amazing quality and material. I’m 5’11 and 70% of my height is my legs . I got these pants in “tall” and the length is PERFECT!! 100% worth the price!

So many people stop me on the street to ask about these pants. These really are a closet staple -- perfect for all seasons, fantastic for the working gal but also insanely comfortable and cute for a casual wear around town. The only thing is the height -- for me, they're a touch too long. I'm 5' 2" and I've gotten all my pairs (all 5, I'm obsessed) altered about three inches. But the waist fits like a DREAM.

these are a really great pant, could be dressed up for sure or made more casual. looking forward to styling them this fall and winter. i’m 5’5” 25” waist and got a size 0 short. they fit great and aren’t too long , aren’t too tight. i typically fall between size 0 and 2. for a looser pant like this i went with a 0.

Bought so many colors. Definitely a staple piece. Probably buy even more. I love you can dress up or down.

Needed to see what the hype was about with these pants and wow I get it. They are true to size and fit so perfectly at the waist. Super comfy and great for casual dress and for work. Wish they were a little more affordable but otherwise no complaints!

I’m 5’2 and the people in store ordered me a regular. Way too long. I went back and ordered the short and the different between the two isn’t much. Needless to say even the short style fits too long.

I ordered the effortless pleated short in size 14 and the same exact style In pants and they are totally different measurements. The waste is nearly 2 inches smaller for the shorts than the pants.

These pants are beautiful and I am taking them to be tailored because I am curvy with a small waste but for most people, I imagine they would have to return. This kind of size disparity for clothing as expensive as this is unacceptable.

Also the drop downs don’t reflect their full range of sizes which is confusing. I ordered a 14 my usual size is a 12 but had to size up so my hips didn’t pull the pleats open.

It’s always been hard to find pants that look good and also fit well… especially trousers. These are absolutely stunning, fit my waist perfectly and the length is great for my height.

The linen addition needs more work and better tailoring compared to the regular one. Also sizing is completely different

I love these pants, they fit great and I love how they look. the only thing is the stitching in the hem of the pants came out after only 10 times wearing them (and yes i followed the washing directions)…for $150 pants they should last wayyy longer, i have $40 pants that have lasted years. Now i have to spend even more money to get a tailor to re-stitch them which is so disappointing

Love the effortless pants, own multiple pairs! Recently, I have been having issues with the length of these pants. I normally buy the regular length as I am 5'8" and have not had an issue in the past, however, the last few pairs I ordered online were dragging on the floor- I thought it was a one off, so I ordered others, but I guess I have either shrunk, or they are making these for really tall ladies! Please fix your measurements! Outside of that, great pants!!

I love these pants, they are very easy to wear I ordered additional pairs in different colors. They are comfortable, flattering, and professional, perfect for business casual. They pair easily with t shirts and blouses.

I love the way these look on me. I am a size 27 waist and 5’3 and got the size 6 short. They are still too long unfortunately so I need to go pay to have them tailored.

I’ve had a hard time finding wide leg pants- they’re usually not flattering. These were pricey but live up to the hype! Going to get a second pair. Wish they had more fun colors!

Really loved these but I would say order size down-I ended up having to exchange my normal size 2 (I am a size 2 in the Melina) for a 0 specifically because the waist was too big and didn't sit high like I wanted. Hoping the size 0 works for me! For reference I'm 5'6 120 lbs and I got the regular length and they're perfect with sneakers.

it is almost comical how much these pants miss the mark for me. I am 5'7' with hourglass figure and a round bum, and am typically a size 12-14. Ordered a 16 based on other reviews. A smaller size would not get over my bum but these had a big gap in the back in the waist. The pleats make me look like I have a lower stomach pouch (which I do not have) and give camel toe at the same time. The back somehow makes my seat look flat, all around a bad look. There were also a lot of loose threads coming off of these pants. They will be going back asap

Bought the original Effortless Pant in SHORT, They fit beautifully, length was perfect for my height, material was high quality....BUT recently bought same size in SHORT, same color AND they are three inches longer, itchy material and wrinkles. What happened?!!????

Warning to other short ladies: the Short length now has a 30in inseam which is too long for me at 5'2" this is a new update as previous iterations were 28in so if you're thinking of repurchasing I would not recommend.

I really like the fit of these pants. However, my three roommates and I all got them, and within a few weeks, every pair (4 pairs, different colors) became unhemmed at the pant legs. It’s really annoying, and shows that they are not good quality.

I have been wanting these pants for quite a long time after buying my first pair about a year ago. originally I bought them in a size 0 for reference I have a 24.5 natural waist and they were just too big for me. I sized down to a 00 on this pair and they are perfect. I highly recommend them just keep in mind the sizing.

I loved these pants so much I bought them in 2 colours. They fit well and look good but the stitching for one of the pants where the lower ankle came off after 3 wears. Disappointed in the quality. Sent an email and never received a response.

Really wish I read the reviews before purchasing the light birch colour. They are horribly see-through. How do these even pass quality control? For the price point, I am so disappointed with the quality. I stupidly removed the tags before checking my butt in the mirror, so now I am stuck with this disaster of a pant. A tissue paper has more coverage than these pants.

To be fair, the black pair I also purchased were great! Just avoid the light birch.

So comfortable and classic. I got them in the heatwave blue colour and my only regret is not getting them in the lilac colour while they were still in stock in my size. They're perfect for the office with a blouse and heels and also on the weekends with sneakers and a halter top. Also- bless you Aritzia for having different lengths.

I love these and they’re even better quality than I was expecting. These pants are the best out there. I would say that these run long! I was about to buy the longer length but I’m glad I didn’t. Could have sized down for a more snug fit bit the 10 fits how I liked it to. LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE (:

These pants are so comfortable and very flattering on. Definitely fit a bit smaller. I’m normally a 6 or 29 in jeans and needed to get a size 8, still a little snug but still comfortable. These are my new favourite pants and will be ordering more in different colors

I’m usually 6/8 or M or 28 in most brands. I purchased an 8, which fit perfectly!! Not too snug or loose. Bought the “short” version, I am 5’5, and they are perfect even with a heel!! Wouldn’t want white pants dragging on the ground. These are truly effortless!! Worth every penny!

True high waist. Fabric does not wrinkle. I bought the short length and they are still longer than I would like. I am 5"4 and I can still just barely wear them with flats as long as I watch my step.

Overall I love these pants!!! Literally amazing fit/ true to size. Quality is exactly what I expected. I just happened to notice that the length between the two pairs I bought aren’t exactly the same ? I’m 5’6” and need them hemmed if I want to wear with a shoe that has 2” sole or smaller

It is super comfortable and amazingly elegant. You can make it look formal or casual. Love to buy the same in other colours.

I love these pants. Went back and forth since they’re a little pricey, but I’m so glad I finally bought them. I am 5’8”, ~150lbs and I got a 6 in a tall. 10/10 recommend. I also purchased the birch color which is a great creamy white.

I bought Effortless pants a few years ago and I just ordered 2 new pairs; size 4 black short and size 4 birch short. The differences between the ones I just purchased versus the ones I purchased a few years ago are astounding. Not only is the quality of material drastically different, but I received 2 different sizes in my most recent order. Despite both tags saying they're the same exact pant, the white pair I received have 2 extra inches in the waist and the pant legs are much larger than the black pair I received. I'm not sure how 2 pants can have such extreme differences. Unfortunately, I took the tags off the ill-fitting pair and Aritzia customer support has been helpless in helping resolve this issue. These pants are pricey, and I'm extremely disappointed with my purchase. I was ready to love them, but I simply can't.

I absolutely love these pants. Love them so much that when I got home from buying them I ordered 2 more pairs in different colors. They are very flattering! I only gave 4 stars because they do run long (I have the reg fit) and I had to hem them. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars.

Gorgeous fit and quality but need to size up

I loved these pants. They are super comfortable and fit really well. My only problem is that the lighter colours especially in the back is a bit see through. I ordered 2 pairs, light birch and the black and with the light birch you can see every dimple and cellulite through the pants.

Just like a previous comment mentioned, the sizing is inconsistent between short and regular. I tried the size 2 regular in store and it fits perfect in the waist and hips. But when I ordered the size 2 short, the waist is about 1/3 inch bigger and the hip is wider by the same amount. This caused the short to look very baggy on me.
Otherwise the material is nice and flowy, but the stitching is poorly done, and it's already coming apart at some places after 2 washes. I don't think this is worth the original price tag.

I tried this on in store in regular length and it fit beautifully but too long. Then I ordered the short length and for some reason it fits differently? Like too big through the hips in an unflattering way. I think you really have to try these on in store to ensure you get the right fit as I think there are sizing inconsistencies. Nice fabric and cut though in general and I would say worth the money.
