the constant™ coat

Overall, I’m happy with my purchase of the black Constant cashmere/wool coat. I think this coat could be better if the top button actually buttoned rather than just being decorative. Additionally, I think the cold rating is a stretch, especially since the coat only has one button and easily blows open at the bottom and so much chest area exposed at the top. This fit true to size for me as a classic fit coat with room for a sweater underneath. I found it long enough for my 5’11” frame.

Love this coat! I wore it outside on a 5 degree C weather and I did not feel cold. Its can be dressed down as well with sweatpants. I love this coat! I thought the length was gonna be a problem because I am only 4'11 (got a 2xs) but it worked for me <3

The coat is beautiful. The cut and material are both fantastic, and it is very well made. It is definitely a heavy winter coat. I am a size medium (6 in tops, 8 in pants), and the coat fits me perfectly with enough room to layer. It is slightly oversized, but I wouldn't recommend sizing down, as it won't have enough room for a bulky sweater. I am 163 cm, and it looks nice on me. I don't feel drowned in it

Unfortunately, the coat doesn't have pockets, and it's very disappointing that, at this price point, it doesn't even have internal or external pockets.

Very well made. Lined. Reinforced stitching and zippers. Need a scarf to protect your neck and chest.
Otherwise this is an investment piece.

It fits a bit looser, but I wouldn’t say that it’s oversized. True to size, however you could size up for more room, if that’s your style.

After waiting to hear from the store for pick up, I decided to drop by the store on my way to the event I had bought it to wear to. Despite no call, it had been waiting at the store for a couple days. The tags were cut in the store so I could wear it to planned event.
Even layered with other sweaters and jackets I have found myself bitterly cold in weather above 5+ degrees, not the -20 as advertised.

The second time I wore it I opened the pockets only to find a hole in the bottom of one, that now serves of a constant reminder of the expensive disappointment this excitedly anticipated coat is.

Because the tags were cut, I was informed that the coat could not be returned or exchanged. I would be less unhappy if I had donated the cost of this coat or set it on fire, then spent it at Aritzia. From product quality, make and service, this entire transaction has no care or respect for the customer and their dollars. Spend your money at a small business that cares about your experience, stand by their goods and make honest accidents and mistakes in production right.... not just "no no no" at you because the tags were cut off.
