the '90s joni hi-rise loose jean

I have these in 2 washes—the black wash is at least 1 size too small, which appears to be a consistent problem with Denim Forum jeans in black washes. The blue wash in this jean fits beautifully. For reference, I purchase a size 30 in the blue wash, and it’s just a teeny bit loose on the waist, just how I like to wear it. The black wash I purchased is a size 31 and at least one size too small. Please fix your sizing issues, Aritzia!

The Joni in the darker wash is my 2nd pair. The first pair is hands down my favorite jeans, in a lighter wash. This pair I had to exchange because I couldn’t even pull them over my knees. The 2nd pair still doesn’t fit quite right. Def a disappointment.

It fits very small and I couldn’t return it so I just gave this pants that I can’t wear sitting around even though I did order my normal size.

Love the baggy fit. Little long on me since I’m 5’3” but sits nicely scrunched by my sneakers. Super comfy and LIVE that they’re 100% cotton.

I read the reviews and noticed most people said these jeans fit massive and to size down by 2 sizes. I ended up sizing down by one size and they were so tight I could even close them, so I exchanged for a bigger size (my regular size) and they’re still extremely tight. The wash is nice but wondering why these fit so loose on some people?

I bought in store, lucky that I did because I got a smaller size then normal, definitly size down one or two sizes. I absolutly love the fit of the jeans, they are flattering and comfy. My real issue is that they stretch out so horribly you can only wear them for a couple of hours. When I wear with sweaters I wear a belt, but I find they look stupid with a crop top and a belt. They just get so loose in the crotch that they look very frumpy. You have to have them freshly washed every time you wear. I do like them a lot but be warned!

They stretch 2 sizes, so size down a lot.

bought a pair of 24 thinking they were going to fit me and these were way too big and not flattering in any way. they look weird around the zipper area because they’re just way to big.

I do love these jeans, but per reviews, sized down and they are too snug. They fit everywhere but the waist. They "fit" but not in a flattering way or how I think they should (slightly baggy?) Re ordered in my regular size 26. For ref I'm 5'7, 130lbs, short torso, straight body type. Absolutly amazing jeans otherwise. Excited to get the correct size!
