I loved this sweater, but it doesn’t survive a single wash. I’ve owned two now. The first, my boyfriend washed and dried with the rest of our clothes and it shrank so much it looked like a dog sweater. I blamed him for putting it in the dryer, even thought it was on the lowest setting. I loved it so much that I bought another one. This time I followed the instructions EXACTLY, and it still shrank after hand washing in cold water. Beyond disappointed with Aritzia. I spent almost $200 on two beautiful sweaters, only for them to be worn once? Ridiculous. Might have to reconsider my loyalty to Aritzia… the quality has gotten so much worse over the years.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. It was beautiful for 1 wear. Followed the instructions, gently hand washed in cool water, and it shrunk up to the size of a Barbie shirt. I can’t get my head through the hole and the wool is awful. For $98 I am very disappointed. I’m sure Aritzia given their awful customer service won’t care anyway, but if you do, please advise how I can get this rectified.

I wanted to love this because I think shoulder pads or defined shoulders look really fierce but this sweater just was not it. It was very boxy and rather than being dramatic it just looked like I was swimming in it. Had to return.

I absolutely love the look, the feel and yes the style. The sweater vest that I purchased will definitely enhance my wardrobe. Yes I highly recommend purchasing this item.

Keeps you a little warmer than a normal shirt, even though there’s no sleeves. I got the pink one and everyone at work always compliments my outfits when I wear it. The turtleneck and the padded shoulders give it such an elegant look. One of my favourite articles of clothing in my closet.

Beautiful piece, but it shrunk after hand washing it. If you decide to get it, bring it ONLY to the dry cleaners.

I can’t wait to wear this in the spring. It’s such a fun color and it looks great on. An XS fits well but I probably could’ve sized down. I’m usually a XS/S so I think this item runs large compared to other brands

I loved this, and then I didn't. And all because the care instructions on this item are a lie. It should be dry-cleaned only. I've had 2 other sweaters from Aritzia shrink when hand-washed, so with this one, I was super hesitant. And it turns out - I was right to be.
I used the coldest water my sink offers, washed it by itself, by hand (with a tiny bit of conditioner as I know from experience that helps to keep the fibers relaxed), and then gently rung it out and laid it flat to dry. The result? I can't get my head through the hole. Absolutely ruined.

I love the fabric and padded shoulders. Looks great with high rise jeans

Super cute wear but beware because this top shrinks in the wash! Im no longer able to wear it.

I love it so much I have ordered it in green, for a perfect fit just order your size, this sweater doesn’t look good if you size up. I am size x small, I ordered my first one in small, I am not crazy about the fit, so I ordered it in x small.

I really like this sweater but unfortunate it shrunk when washing it! I would have just dry cleaned it had I known as others have remarked even hand washing shrinks it. Also runs a little large I think I would go a size down next time. I’m a S and XS might be better. Sweater is super soft and cute. Problem being cannot repurchase because it’s sold out.

Super cheap looking, 100% expect pilling and a short lifespan from this. Way over priced, you can get better quality from Zara.

I LOVED this sweater. It was the perfect sweater until I followed the instructions and hand-washed it. It is shrunken and ruined. The directions say to reshape when damp - this does not work. I should have dry cleaned it but the primary instruction explain in elaborate detail how to hand wash and then says OR dry clean so I thought it would be ok. I am so sad! DRY CLEAN ONLY

I was very excited to find this shirt in my aritzia store, but unfortunately after one wash the top is no longer wearable. I followed the wash instructions but the top still shrank and I am now unable to even get it over my head. This was very upsetting, as I was only able to wear the shirt once.

I purchased this to wear over a very flowy blouse with billowy sleeves to reign in the body. I did not expect to love the vest this much. I love to layer and see lots of possibilities. I threw it over a dress and I like that look as well. It seems to be of good quality. It’s going to be a favorite piece of mine. My size is usually large but sometimes medium and I went with a medium in this.

I am 5'5", 120 lbs, 36b and have this in Small. I have collected 4 colors! This is warm, and elevates any outfit with a pop of color and the structured shoulders. I bought my typical sweater size Small (in Aritzia outerwear vests I wear XS).

I had to go one size smaller than I normally wear - love the material and that it is versatile to wear a t-shirt underneath if colder weather. very classic and suites my boy type.

This versatile wardrobe basic, has a beautiful weight and feel to it, rich fall color, and just the right amount of details to make it interesting. Shoulder pads are definitely a throwback but, do you create an overall silhouette that is very complementary to hire waisted slacks or skirts. Plan to wear this at least 3 seasons

Love the way it fits. Thought it would make me look too broad up top but it didn’t. I got lots of compliments the day i wore it.

Absolutely obsessed with this sweater however I have been devastated that it was ruined in the wash. I followed the cleaning instructions (hand wash cold & dry flat) and it completely ruined the sweater. The texture and shape was completely lost despite my efforts to re-shape it while it was damp (also in the instructions). I don’t understand why these cleaning instructions would be listed in the care tag if it ended up ruining the sweater. BEWARE!

Looks amazing! It’s hard to tell in pictures online, but there are shoulder pads. They look really cool though.

This is such a flattering sweater but I was very disappointed when I followed the washing instructions and it lost its texture. The wool now looks pilly and sloppy. Unsure why Aritzia says you can either wash or dry clean... only opt for the latter if you want the sweater to stay in tact!

I love Aritzia clothes and usually I'm happy with the quality but this sweater feels so cheap and arrived in the mail looking like it had been worn multiple times. It was pilling all over and had hair on it. I'm very disappointed especially considering it was $98.

Great quality fabric, trendy built in shoulder pads, beautiful colours, recommend sizing down 1 size to keep more fitted than over sized.

Got the navy color. Love the fit and style, but the neck is so incredibly itchy. It’s also a little long, but looks great tucked in

this sweater is so beautiful and soft! however, it fits long and wide so be prepared. I usually wear S and I had to return it for XS. XS fits much better and is still not tight (for reference, I measure 33-27-34"). The fabric washes well and I know I will love this sweater for years.

Striking look that you must wear with confidence. The fit is more relaxed than I was expecting, but it looks really good tucked in.

I really like this sweater vest as it it can be worn as is or with a blouse/shirt underneath .
I also love the colour as it is a vibrant and verdant green.

love the style. just runs big from the waist. issue with how to style then. only option was tucking in which I wouldn’t prefer every-time. but will keeping looking for cropped version of this with this similar shoulder style. love you guys!!

I actually have a couple of these in different colours. They are so easy to wear...with jeans, a slip skirt, dress pants. I know the shoulder pad trend won't last forever but I've already gotten a lot of wear our of these. The knit is quite delicate though so I'm careful with jewelry etc.

Love this shirt! Warm and cozy but can style it up to be more fancy! The fabric is really soft too!

I really loved this top on me and I have received some compliments. However, this top is not for everyone! If you wear it with confidence, you will for sure like it :) super comfortable and non itchy material. It keeps you warm enough for the winter and you can wear it to work because of the widened shoulder look.

Hesitated on purchasing this top because of the price, but it is truly the perfect blend between sweater and top, which is ideal for the climate I live in. The wool is not scratchy on my skin which says a lot for me because even the slightest scratchiness in a top will send me running. Size wise I would take your true size for a relaxed fit, but size down if you want it to look a little more tailored. I do think it runs slightly large, but I still took a small (my true size) and I’m 5’5”, 114lbs for reference.

I usually am a Medium but sized down to a small love the green colour and the slightly padded shoulders great for fall
I paired mine with wide leg jeans or the leather Melina pant !!

This top elevates any outfit.

The proportions on this piece are just off, wanted to love it but the shoulder is too puffy.
