How to Care for Merino Wool

1. Check the care label for style-specific instructions.

2. Prolong the life of your knitwear by washing less often.

3. When needed, hand wash in cold water using mild detergent specially formulated for knitwear. Steer clear of fabric softeners.

4. Rinse well after washing, but avoid wringing. Gently roll the garment in a towel to remove any excess water.

5. Reshape your garment while still damp, and dry on a flat surface.

6. Store your knitwear folded to prevent stretching.

7. If pilling occurs, use a sweater comb or sweater stone to gently remove pills.

For the Planet

Use Cold Water

Washing with cold water is not only gentler on your clothes, but it can also save up to 90% of the energy normally used to heat the water.

Wash It Less

Each load of laundry uses approximately 18 gallons of water — and a bunch of your effort. Save yourself the time and resources by washing less. Or try a gentle cycle — it can help reduce microfibre shedding by about 70%.

Choose Mild Detergent

This will minimize any chemicals entering the waterways.

Reasons to Love Merino Wool

Luxuriously Soft
Merino Wool is a premium, naturally warm wool fibre sourced from Merino sheep. Its extra-fine fibres offer a luxurious, exceptionally soft next-to-skin feel.

Responsibly Sourced
We are working to increase our use of responsibly sourced wool. This helps ensure sheep are treated with respect to their Five Provisions and promotes best practices in the management and protection of the land.
