The perfect transitional sweater. Love the cropped length. I’ve washed both the navy and the ivory already and had no issues with shrinkage. Cold water by hand (not machine hand wash) with a merino/wool specific laundry soap. Roll in a towel to remove excess water then lay flat to dry. A bit more care but this sweaters worth it.

I followed all of the directions for washing with care as this had easily become my new favorite sweater. After a first wash it shrunk significantly and isn’t even wearable anymore.

It’s too bad because the price was expensive, and it was about to become a new closet fall/ winter favorite

In the same boat as many of the other reviewers - I loved this sweater but after one wash, following directions, it was literally unwearable. So disappointed.

I was attracted by the sweater's sophisticated design and the promise of high-quality merino wool. Initially, the sweater met my expectations with its excellent fit and luxurious feel, making it a seemingly perfect addition to my wardrobe.

However, after the first wash, which I conducted strictly according to the care instructions provided (hand wash in cold water), I encountered a significant issue. The sweater had shrunk considerably, a problem that was unexpected and quite disappointing given the garment's premium nature and price point.

Upon researching further, I found that this issue is not unique to my experience. Several other customers have reported similar shrinkage despite following the recommended care instructions. This recurring problem suggests a discrepancy between the garment's care guidelines and its actual tolerance to washing, which is a concern for a product of this caliber.

Do not buy!

Prepare yourself to wearing this sweater once or twice because once you wash it it’s game over, only your four-pound chihuahua will ever be able to wear it!

Washed how the instructions stated in cold water hand wash lay flat. It will never fit again! It’s so disappointing. I thought I did something wrong and wanted to cry after I saw it but looks like I am not alone. For the price it’s extremely disappointing.

Loved it before washing - same as other reviewers, I washed per instructions (cold water and laid flat to dry) but it still shrank a few inches and is now way too cropped to wear... super disappointing

I loved this sweater but it stunk drastically after the first wash (I washed per instructions, hand wash cold lay flat to dry). It is now about 4 inches shorter in the sleeve and body and unwearable. For over $100 I would expect so much better.

I bought this in store and loved the fit, but it shrank so much when I washed it per the directions on the tag (cold water and by hand) that it was unwearable. The customer service team was amazing and I was able to exchange it for something else.

Surprised by the negative reviews on this one, it's a really cute sweater and soft. It hasn't shrunk for me at all after washing, did hand wash cold and it's totally fine. It's such a nice sweater, it's kept its shape and softness even after washing. I usually take 2XS sometimes in Babaton and Wilfred sweaters depending on how boxy they are, and yes, if I went down a size to 2XS it was too short when I tried on in the store. I kept to my usual size XS and it's perfect, boxy and cropped but not too cropped. There are other sweaters like the Rebecca turtleneck that is much more cropped than this one. This one I can wear with mid-rise Conans and it's totally appropriate for work. If Aritzia made this in black, that would be beautiful! I would totally pick up another colour.

This sweater sold out super fast so I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews. It’s quite a bit shorter and wider than I expected. I don’t mind a boxy fit but with such a short length it’s kind of weird to style even with high waisted bottoms. I got a size S and I’m usually a XS, so maybe I should have got a smaller size, but then it would probably just be even shorter and still very boxy. The knit fabric looks and feels amazing though.

Shrunk to doll-size after one wash (on delicate and cold!) -- so disappointing, be careful!
