It's knit with Breeze Merino — extra fine merino wool and cotton yarn with lightweight, all-season warmth and a soft feel. This version is constructed with a Jersey stitch for a soft drape and a smooth, flat feel.

  • Care: Keep a good thing going by giving this knitwear the care it deserves:
    • Prolong the life of your knitwear by washing less often.
    • When needed, hand wash in cold water using mild detergent specially formulated for knitwear. Steer clear of fabric softeners.
    • Rinse well after washing, but avoid ringing. Gently roll the garment in a towel to remove any excess water.
    • Reshape your garment while still damp, and dry on a flat surface.
    • Store your knitwear folded to prevent stretching.
    • If pilling occurs, use a sweater comb or sweater stone to gently remove pills.

Not Flattering on a Tall Frame
If you look closely at the model pictures you will see that this cardigan even looks boxy on svelt 5'9'' and 5'10'' models. I spent a lot of time researching the different fabric and knit type of Unwind Cardigan and ultimately bought it in this Breeze Merino (a merino wool/cotton mix versus the 100% merino wool "Embrace Merino") Jersey Knit (a flatter smoother stitch compared to the half stitch, which is chunkier and comes in more colors). The breeze fabric is not as soft, understandably so since cotton is a stiffer fiber than the fine merino wool. It also looks more elegant and smart since the jersey stitch is knit tighter, and arguably less prone to pilling and shrinking given the closely knitted loops. HOWEVER, I want to point out that the fit of this cardigan is simply not flattering on a tall person with wide shoulders. The sleeves puff out too much and without enough length or drape to make up for it (it hits my upper hip), making me look like a huge square box. I have a similar open-front cardigan with pockets from a Japanese fast fashion brand and used that a lot WFM and so I bought this piece thinking it would be a practical upgrade. Unfortunately, the lack of ultra-softness in this piece takes away the purpose of comfort loungewear, and it's not flattering or practical (no closure) enough to wear out and about. Alas, another sales flop.

I really adore this cardigan. I've worn it just about every day since I received it. I only deduct one star from the review because of the price. Don't get greedy on us, Aritzia!

Terrible quality
I thought for such a high priced cardigan this would not disappoint but I was terribly wrong . I only wore it for less than 3 months and it started to pill. I didn't even wash it and it was wearing away. I must say I am quite disappointed for its price point and performance. Would not recommend
