Ordered my usual size 00. Some Aritzia pants 00 is too short on me, I’m 5’7. So ordered tall but it was way too long. So ordered regular and it was perfect. Such a nice material, staple piece in closet
These pants are so beautiful and even though the material is polyester it seems like they are great quality. However the sizing is terrible - I'm typically a size 10 and they were way too small. I'm also 5'3" so I ordered the Short which is listed as for 5'0" - 5'2" and they were WAY too long. Disappointed that the sizing was so off. I also wish the waist band had a little bit of stretch to them...
I order a size 6 short and it's the perfect length for me that it looks almost tailored to my body! These are my favorite work pants that I have in several colors!
I love the effortless pant. I ordered one in the size 4 short two years ago and i love the fit. This time i order the same size and the pant was small...I don't understand. Same pant and size just a different color.
Great every day pant for casual wear or can be dressed up. I’m about 5ft 3 and got the short and it’s still a few inches too long for me unless I wear with heels or platform shoes
The style is nice, however, it runs really small. I wanted the version with the elastic waistband but there was barely any give. I purchased sizes 2-6 and there was minimal changes to the size. I have the cohen pants in size two and it fits well and the elastic band has good stretch. Did the fit models change?
The drape on these pants is wonderful. The crepette fabric is slightly textured with some weight to it but it drapes beautifully! I'm 5'4" and the short length fit best with heels. Size up compared to other brands sizing. I'm a size 4 or 27 in jeans, and the size 6 is my size in this pant.
I love the fit and feel of these pants. They look great. I love that they don’t need to be dry cleaned. Based on the inseam measurements I ordered the regular length but found it wasn’t accurate, and they were too long. I ordered the short, and they’re perfect for me at 5’ 6”. The waist was perfect and size is true to size.
I’m 5feet, ordered short and shorter and both were so long! I’d need to tailor it to fit me and this is with the highest heels I had. Very disappointed

The crepe fabric truly never wrinkles and can be easily dressed up and dressed down. I got the 8 short but beware the short is slightly longer than a normal short pant would be. Where most short pants hit my ankle, these definitely hit the ground.
I wanted to love this pant after being influenced to purchase, but it’s much too long. I used the sizing guide and ordered regular (for reference, I’m 5”5) and the pant was 3-4inches too long and dragging on the floor. It would make sense to wear with heels, but I purchased this pant to dress down with sneakers.
I love these pants. They are great for dressing up or down. I like them a little loose so I suggest sizing one size up for a true effortless look. My only issue is I wish they came in different lengths, I’m 5’4 and have very short legs, so these were VERY long and I had to pay to get them hemmed. Otherwise- the ideal pant and everyone should have a pair.
Good quality and fit but slightly large and way too long
I ordered a size 4 Short and I am 5’-6” tall. I have shorter legs but the pants are wayyy too long and I do not want to get them hemmed. Planning on returning. The sizes are also a little big. I like the way the waist fit bc I don’t like my pants too tight.
I now own 4 pairs of these pants different lengths but all the crepe ones. They wear beautifully, hang just right, don’t wrinkle and can be machine washed. Does it get any better than that?
The pants are gorgeous and they flow very nicely. However, the sizing is incorrect - I am 5’1” and I ordered the shorter length option hoping I finally don’t have to have my pants hemmed, but they’re still too long. Everything else is great, though!
I ordered the shorter size which says 5’ and shorter. I am 5’2” and it is still too long for me which I’m a little disappointed about because I now have to get it hemmed.
31 inch inseams are NOT long enough for a tall length. ARITZIA PLEASE DO BETTER. Customers can make pants shorter! We cannot make them longer! Tall girls deserve to wear actual pants that arent leggings. It’s so sad.
I was really on the fence between size 2 and 4. Based on the size guide and measuring, I ended up ordering the 4’s… which were too big. As long as the waist measurement is at least close to yours, I’d recommend to get the smaller size. Hope this helps!
I own several of these pants all size two, regular length. Everytime a pair that is regular length arrives, the length is different. Strong recommend trying on before removing the tags.
Great for traveling, but inconsistent sizing and would be nice to try on with a mirror
These pants are great for traveling because they don't crease or wrinkle. My issue is that the sizing is not consistent year to year or between fabrics. I have the crepe in sizes 6 and 8 from different seasons or years when I purchased and they fit the same. I also have a size 6 in linen that fits more like a 2 bought the same year as the crepe 6. This makes it hard to buy online so I go in store to try them on, but the lack of mirrors in the individual dressing rooms is really anxiety inducing.
The fit is perfect and very comfortable, length is a tad too long for me but it works with heels, I would get a shorter pair for sneakers. I love them!
I bought the Wilfred Effortless pants last year and they fit perfectly. I'm tall and curvy with a small waist. I went back to buy the Effortless pant after the rebrand on two occasions: the first time I noticed the length was remarkably shorter and the second time the cut of the pant was much tighter on the hip and waist as well as still shorter. The first two pants were bought in a size 6 (they til fit my hips fine), this last pant I had to go up to an 8 for the same space in the hips. I tried on at least 10 pair of pants including long lengths in store Friday that were entirely too short. If the length is listed as "long" let it at least be a 34" inseam.
Beautiful pants however they run small in the waist and are VERY long!!
These are cute pants, but they are waaay too long and small in the waist. I'm 5'4 120 pounds and am generally a 4-6 in pants w/no problem in the waist. I ordered these in a 6 short and 8 short hoping one would fit. Both of the pants were comically too long to the point that I thought they must have sent the wrong size. Nope - they are both the short version. I'm going to try the "shorter" version with the 28.5 inseam, but that is still such a long length. The leg and hips on this pant are huge - so why have the waist SO small?? They are WAY off with their sizing on this one. I'm willing to try the shorter version since I love the flow of these pants, but am not willing to spend the $ on alterations if they don't work. Shame.
My height is 4’ 11’’, so I have to pay attention to the length of pants. The sizing chart is inaccurate; it said the inseam for the size 2 shorter length effortless pants is 26.25 inches. I measured the inseam of the pants I received and it measured about 28 inches.
Great pants but runs way too long, even the shortest length.
I bought these 2 times in 2 different lengths and STILL couldn’t get them to hit above my toes. I’m 5’0 and the shortest length still drags on the ground. If you’re 5’2 the shortest length will probably be the perfect length. I would urge Aritzia to update their size recommendations to NOT say shortest is for 5’0 and below. Will return for the second time. Oh well.
Great pair of pants but the waist is small and doesn’t increase much from size to size. I am usually a size 4 and I’ve now tried sizes 4,6,8. I just ordered the 10 then will give up
I like these pants overall. Fabric is nice and good color. They fit well, but are very long. I ordered the short length sz 4, and will only be able to wear them with heels. For reference I am 5’3”, 120lbs.
i’m 5’5, 150-160lbs, usually an 8 in aritzia pants, a medium/large, a 6 in lululemon leggings/pants, and a 28-30 in most jeans. based off of the size measurements for the pants i ordered a size 10. originally i had ordered the pants in regular length but they were WAY too long on me. i ended up returning them and ordering the short length, and i’m so happy that i did. these pants are a staple, can be dressed up or down, and exactly like the name – they’re effortlessly flattering! i’d recommend going in store to try them on, or to be sure to take your measurements to compare with the ones provided.
