The Constant™ Coat - Soft Wool Cashmere

I love this coat, great fabric. Not too heavy, long enough to cover your whole body from wind or cool weather. Beautiful color too. I’m normally a large and ended up getting a medium and it fits perfectly. Size down one size.

I did not like it. I would never recommend it

The coat looks nice and thick. However, it is extremely oversized. Being 5’2” and petite, I should probably have taken a xxl, but I went with a small, as recommended by the site based on my shopping history. I had to return it.

I have no regrets. I’m usually a medium but x small fit perfect. I’m 5’4 133 lbs. The sleeves were way too long and I looked like I was swimming in the small. I tried the other constant styles and small fit but not herringbone.

I’m 5’2 and around 115-120lbs. 2XS is perfect for me, enough room to move around. I feel like if it fits your body frame, it’ll make you look really good. Def not a coat that’s for everyone. And thank you for bringing back this fluffy thick material. Please make more color in this coat & in this material.

I have many wool coats from Babaton.I am happy that I added one more. Constant Coat is elegant can be worn with multiple colours.
Warm not heavy I highly recommend for any women to add this coat to her wordrobe.

I am in love with this coat. If I could change anything, it would be the ability to button a second button for additional warmth. But look and style is incredible and I feel elevated just wearing it.

Very happy with this purchase. Thick, well made and structured, warm enough for Northern Michigan winter. Both beautiful and practical staple in my closet. I happened to wear it on the snowy day also, arrived home slightly wet. I pat dried it with the towel to remove moisture, then left it hanging to finish drying before sending it to the closet, all good! There are a few similar style wool coats on the market right now, I have no regrets choosing the Constant one from Aritzia, nearly 70% wool is quite decent in comparison to what other (even more expensive) brands offer. Fabric is nice and soft, not stiff at all. Tailored slightly oversized, I’m 5’4 120 lb athletic shape, 2XS fits perfect even with sweaters. Can’t wait to wear it again!

I bought this coat a few weeks ago as a Christmas gift to myself. Finally on Christmas day I wore it and received great compliments. I am on a petite side (5’2) but the coat didnt look big or overly long on me. I sized down (usually a L) and it fits perfectly esp the sleeves and shoulders. It still goves you the oversized style if thats what you’re looking for. This coat also has pockets. Invest on getting a seam ripper! And its perfect!

Beautiful coat, the material is great and durable and I love the design however the sleeves are too long and baggy. I had to have it tailored.

my goodness, i love this coat! i originally ordered the slouch coat, but didn’t care for the shape on me. i wanted to reorder, and chose the constant coat to go with a different style. it fits like a dream, and i love it!!! i’m 5’4” and weigh 155-160. the small fits just right. the size guide says i would be a small or medium, and i chose the small because i live in the south and don’t usually wear heavy or thick layers. the coat will be the warmth i need. i wear a medium in most clothes and a small or medium in dress coats. i already want to order another color!!!

The coat is made perfect. Tailored beautifully to the body and every time I wear the coat, people would give me compliments.

I purchased it is the brown herringbone and then also ordered the black/ white herringbone. The cashmere blend fabric is soft and not itchy like the wool melton version which fit a bit smaller than the herringbone and much more stiff. I am an xs in the slouch and only coat. I first tried the small but it was too large and the sleeves were very long on me . The xs is perfect. Highly recommended!!

Purchased this coat because of the herringbone pattern and it did not disappoint. The size is quite roomy. I usually purchase Babaton knitwear in L-XL to get a more billowy look but the coats I typically purchase in L since they always fit a bit bigger. If you want a more snug fit, I recommend sizing down. And a note for the pockets: there is a tack seam in all three of the pockets. You need a seam ripper to gently remove it. Be assured, this coat has pockets! Pockets are sewn shut to maintain the garment shape.

The fabric is thick and soft. The size is perfect fit. The only thing that I don’t like is the shoulder pads which give it a boxy look. Otherwise I love the coat and color and the fit.

this coat is really beautiful. the herringbone black/white is perfect. fits like a globe, perfectly warm - looks very put together and elegant. i’m normally a size small, but went with an extra small because it was a more streamline fit, and i can still fit a chunky hoodie underneath. i’m 5’5 130lbs for reference

This is a classic and highly sophisticated coat. I got the XS -I usually take a size small in coats depending on the fit but with this one, I had to size down. It fits like a glove. Great quality material. Can’t go wrong with the classics!

Please make more of this coat (the wool and cashmere blend) in different colors! This coat is perfection! I am 5’5, 143 lbs and the small fits me perfectly — slightly oversized where I can wear a big hoodie underneath but not so much where I’m swimming in it with just a shirt under. The material is thick and warm, and the coat feels much more expensive then it is. The other color Constant coats that came out are NOT the same material! They are wool but no cashmere and they feel much thinner and don’t have that wool coat like texture (feels more like a smooth thin fabric) that this one does. I ordered a black one and was so disappointed. Feels almost like a thick blazer. Please make more of this exact fabric in different colors!!!!

Love this coat! I can even wear it over my blazers with ease because it runs large. Only downside is that it does not have pockets.

Loved the feel and look of the coat but it was too big. I usually order a S from Aritzia ...but in a S, this coat took over! It was much longer than shown in the image (in arms and length) and quite bulky. Ordered the Steadman Coat in XS instead and it was perfect for me.

This is a very classic coat with a menswear feel, and the black and white herringbone is perfect! This coat runs quite large , however - especially in the arms and shoulders. The fit is quite rectangular. I am usually a S in Babaton coats, and this is the first time ever I’ve worn a XXS (and I can wear over a sweater!). For reference I’m 5’5, 120, lean athletic frame.

The coat is very nice and I love the color! Feels like it would have kept me very warm. However this coat is not meant for a small frame. I’m 5 feet and got the 2X but was still swimming in it. The shoulders are very wide and is shapeless. Too long for a small person. Please make petite sizes.

Got this in dark charcoal which, imo, looks better with lighter hair and complexion than its lighter grey cousin. I am normally a Medium in ARITZIA coats, but upsized to a large in this one, because wanted a slightly oversized look, more length, and also want to be able to wear it with a sweater or a hoodie. It still looks great with only a thin crew neck under. I am 5’10”, 142lbs. Padded shoulders and peaked lapels are a nice touch and make for a sharp silhouette. Can be dressed up, or easily dressed down with chunky boots and a black beanie.

I am 5'3" and about 130lbs, 34C and 25 in jeans. Tried size S and XS in the store.
XS fits much better because my arms are on the shorter side. Slim fit. Not planing to wear bulky sweaters under because this coat is warm itself. Very elegant.

Loved it, but had to return.
