Meticulously constructed to deliver warmth to -20°C / -4°F, this is a double-breasted coat with welt hand pockets, a peaked lapel and a vegan chamois lining for added warmth and wind protection. It's expertly crafted with Melton Wool — virgin wool melton with a luxuriously smooth, felt-like feel and a natural drape. It’s sourced from a premier Italian mill.

Love the design
I can’t wait to wear my coat, however, the pockets were sewn completely shut and I called the concierge, then took it to Aritzia to see if they could open it up without ripping the pocket. The girls at the store, like myself, were too worried to try to open the pockets, so they sent it to Stitch It and it’s been there for a full week now ! I checked yesterday and Aritzia still doesn’t have it!

I tried it on when I got it and it fits perfectly - I got it in black, with black buttons . I already have the Stedman coat in camel, and the cucoon coat in grey. I love the quality and style of all my Aritzia coats !!

Classic Coat.
Overall, this coat ticks all the boxes. It’s tailored beautifully; the fabric feels & looks classy; & I love the long length. The shoulders are slightly padded, giving the look of more structure, less softness. ( not for everyone, I like it).

PERFECTION
I got this coat over the holidays, it arrived in the first couple days of January and let me tell you… everytime I see myself in it, I am my dream girl😍 I wanted a maxi coat with structured shoulders for a look that was sharp with clean lines and this is exactly that! It really is very warm without being bulky (i took a 30 min walk in -10 with only one layer on underneath and wasn’t cold at all). I also wanted an oversized look that I could layer heavy sweaters under without looking “stuffed” so I sized up.
For reference: I’m 5’2, size S in Aritzia contour tops and size 4-6 in most bottoms at Aritzia, I got the coat in M
