the constant™ coat

Purchased this coat because of the herringbone pattern and it did not disappoint. The size is quite roomy. I usually purchase Babaton knitwear in L-XL to get a more billowy look but the coats I typically purchase in L since they always fit a bit bigger. If you want a more snug fit, I recommend sizing down. And a note for the pockets: there is a tack seam in all three of the pockets. You need a seam ripper to gently remove it. Be assured, this coat has pockets! Pockets are sewn shut to maintain the garment shape.

The fabric is thick and soft. The size is perfect fit. The only thing that I don’t like is the shoulder pads which give it a boxy look. Otherwise I love the coat and color and the fit.

this coat is really beautiful. the herringbone black/white is perfect. fits like a globe, perfectly warm - looks very put together and elegant. i’m normally a size small, but went with an extra small because it was a more streamline fit, and i can still fit a chunky hoodie underneath. i’m 5’5 130lbs for reference

This is a classic and highly sophisticated coat. I got the XS -I usually take a size small in coats depending on the fit but with this one, I had to size down. It fits like a glove. Great quality material. Can’t go wrong with the classics!

Please make more of this coat (the wool and cashmere blend) in different colors! This coat is perfection! I am 5’5, 143 lbs and the small fits me perfectly — slightly oversized where I can wear a big hoodie underneath but not so much where I’m swimming in it with just a shirt under. The material is thick and warm, and the coat feels much more expensive then it is. The other color Constant coats that came out are NOT the same material! They are wool but no cashmere and they feel much thinner and don’t have that wool coat like texture (feels more like a smooth thin fabric) that this one does. I ordered a black one and was so disappointed. Feels almost like a thick blazer. Please make more of this exact fabric in different colors!!!!

Love this coat! I can even wear it over my blazers with ease because it runs large. Only downside is that it does not have pockets.

Loved the feel and look of the coat but it was too big. I usually order a S from Aritzia ...but in a S, this coat took over! It was much longer than shown in the image (in arms and length) and quite bulky. Ordered the Steadman Coat in XS instead and it was perfect for me.

This is a very classic coat with a menswear feel, and the black and white herringbone is perfect! This coat runs quite large , however - especially in the arms and shoulders. The fit is quite rectangular. I am usually a S in Babaton coats, and this is the first time ever I’ve worn a XXS (and I can wear over a sweater!). For reference I’m 5’5, 120, lean athletic frame.

The coat is very nice and I love the color! Feels like it would have kept me very warm. However this coat is not meant for a small frame. I’m 5 feet and got the 2X but was still swimming in it. The shoulders are very wide and is shapeless. Too long for a small person. Please make petite sizes.

Got this in dark charcoal which, imo, looks better with lighter hair and complexion than its lighter grey cousin. I am normally a Medium in ARITZIA coats, but upsized to a large in this one, because wanted a slightly oversized look, more length, and also want to be able to wear it with a sweater or a hoodie. It still looks great with only a thin crew neck under. I am 5’10”, 142lbs. Padded shoulders and peaked lapels are a nice touch and make for a sharp silhouette. Can be dressed up, or easily dressed down with chunky boots and a black beanie.

I am 5'3" and about 130lbs, 34C and 25 in jeans. Tried size S and XS in the store.
XS fits much better because my arms are on the shorter side. Slim fit. Not planing to wear bulky sweaters under because this coat is warm itself. Very elegant.

Loved it, but had to return.
