How to self care

This is a relaxed crewneck sweater with dropped shoulders and fully fashioned construction. It's knit with Embrace Merino™ — extra-fine 100% merino wool yarn coveted for its natural warmth and super soft feel. We source ours from a premium Italian mill. This sweater is constructed using a Tuck Stitch for a textural look and feel.

Materials & Care
  • Origin: Fabric from Italy
  • Content: 100% wool; Cuff: 97% wool, 2% other fibre, 1% elastane
  • Care: Keep a good thing going by giving this knitwear the care it deserves:
    • Prolong the life of your knitwear by washing less often. 
    • When needed, hand wash in cold water using mild detergent specially formulated for knitwear. Steer clear of fabric softeners. 
    • Rinse well after washing, but avoid ringing. Gently roll the garment in a towel to remove any excess water.
    • Reshape your garment while still damp, and dry on a flat surface.
    • Store your knitwear folded to prevent stretching.
    • If pilling occurs, use a sweater comb or sweater stone to gently remove pills

Only buy if you have time and energy to hand wash such a heavy piece of clothing
I enjoyed this sweater the TWO times I got to wear it. I know it's my bad but I washed this insanely bulky sweater in delicate settings (because I have a dog that sheds a lot and it needed to be washed after two wears) and it shrunk to like an XXXS. I would've just passed it down to one of my little cousins but because it's so bulky, it became incredibly stiff and tight. I tried the trick where you can hand wash shrunken items with conditioner and then stretch it out to make it somewhat what it used to be, but this one just became a HEAVY, stiff pile of fibers. I could've smacked someone with the sweater and it would've knocked them down easily.

So sad. If you never wash clothes by hand, I'd give this sweater a wide berth.

Oversized and VERY HEAVY
I am 5'5 ~120lbs.. pretty lean and typically an XS/S and wanted this to fit oversized / slightly like a tunic so I ordered a size Small but it is really bulky and heavy and SUPER oversized so I was totally dwarfed by it. The knit is a really nice marled color and the quality is great but I could not make it work.

Cozy heavyweight sweater
Bought this with the intent to wear for winter and it did not disappoint. Wool feels extra soft, borderline plush, and super weighty. This will do well on cold winter days, XL fits with loads of room (I prefer my sweaters to fit like a blanket, I wear a medium TTS). Well worth the price.

So Warm!
This sweater is thick, and a really lovely heavy knit. Doesn't feel itchy to me. It fit me just as I wanted it (oversized to wear with leggings, TTS in a Medium). 5'4, 160ish lbs and curvy figure. You will reach for this on the coldest of days, or could be a great piece to layer on with a vest on the West Coast if milder. Canadian winter perfection!

SO SOFT
This sweater is like a warm hug. It fits perfectly oversized as it shows on the model. It’s so soft and so warm I had to buy the cardigan version as well. I know I’ll be wearing this a lot through the fall and winter. I haven’t washed it yet but as I do with all wool fabric from aritzia, I spot wash only as best I can. I absolutely hand wash. I never put in the machine.
