Our Communities

Aritzia is committed to supporting organizations that help women and girls succeed at work and in life. We do so through three pillars of impact: poverty alleviation, mentorship and job readiness. To date, we have contributed more than $36 million in product donations, financial support and volunteer hours to non-profits and Aritzia Community™ partners that share our values. This has positively impacted more than 350,000 women.

Cause Mom

She’s our big why, and cause grand gestures are our love language, this Mother’s Day Aritzia Community™ is collaborating with Cause We Care to launch a limited-edition capsule collection. 100% of proceeds from this Cause We Care collection will be donated to the Cause We Care Foundation (CWCF). CWCF was founded in 2007 with a purpose of empowering single mothers and children living in poverty in our community. Proceeds are calculated as the retail selling price less variable costs. The total donation amount from this limited-edition Cause We Care capsule collection will be $150,000 CAD, if the entire collection sells at full price.

For International Women’s Day 2021, we designed a limited-edition capsule collection to celebrate an equation at the heart of it all: WomenWomen. 100% of proceeds from this limited-edition WomenWomen capsule collection are being donated to Aritzia Community™ partner organizations to empower girls and women, including Cause We Care Foundation, Big Sisters BC Lower Mainland and Forum for Women Entrepreneurs. Proceeds are calculated as the retail selling price less variable costs. Please see below for our current list of Aritzia Community™ partner organizations, which may change from time to time.

Super Puffs

To help keep our community warm at the coldest time of the year, we partnered with YWCA and Big Sisters to distribute 1000 Super Puffs to women and girls across Canada. We’re talking all the way from Vancouver, to Halifax, to Nunavut — the communities on our list span far and wide.

We created the Aritzia Community™ Care Program to recognize and thank frontline healthcare workers in Canada and select US locations. Our custom-developed clothing packages (t-shirts and leggings) were created as an easy-to-wear outfit pre- and post-shift to keep up with sanitation standards. Aritzia invested $10 million into the program, resulting in gifts to 120,000 frontline healthcare heroes — licensed doctors, nurses, healthcare aides and respiratory therapists caring for COVID-19 patients. Every Aritzia Community™ Relief Package included two custom printed t-shirts and two pairs of leggings. Loyal Aritzia customers also helped extend the gifting program by purchasing their own Aritzia Community™ Sponsor Package on aritzia.com, where every package purchased funded the gifting of additional Aritzia Community™ Relief Packages to healthcare heroes.

Aritzia Community™ partners

Founded in 2007 by women to help women, the Cause We Care Foundation (CWCF) strives to provide assistance to disadvantaged single mothers and their children. In addition, Aritzia donates product gifts annually to the Mother’s Day and Holiday Hamper Drives and regularly volunteers at fundraising events. In 2014, Aritzia Community™ launched the Full of Heart Social Media Initiative, making a donation to Cause We Care for each photo tagged #fullofheart on Instagram.
