Style Architecture

Transitional styles designed for draping, tying, layering. Let this be your blueprint for a season of change.

The New Pre-Fall Collection

When it’s hot and humid at 1:30pm, then windy and down-pouring at 1:37pm, you may be wondering about the delicate art form that is getting dressed. Here’s your guide.

Style Architecture:
Colour

Lay your foundation — this is the fun part. Take a neutral base and then weave in a richer tone. Gala Plum, Flashing Red and Lazuli Blue were made for this. Now, find your throughline (a shade that grounds the look). Black is always a solid option or whatever your heart desires today.

Just three key steps and you’ve mastered colour. Next, get dimensional.

Style Architecture:
Texture

Every look has to feel like you. A mix of textures creates room for visual interest. We want that. For your base, consider drapey fabrics like silk, satin and cashmere and offset them with poplin or Crepette™. A little roughness adds tension. You know what you’re doing.

Texture’s all in the details: Cinch your Sweatfleece drawstring for a ruched-effect or fully commit and use it as a belt. Texture’s also a pattern — but you already knew that. If you feel adventurous, maybe this is the year you revisit argyle.

Style Architecture:
Silhouette

Pre-fall is relaxed but polished. It’s the hoodie poking out of your trench, the leather jacket tied around your waist, the shirt both carefully yet carelessly draped around your shoulders.

It’s about variation. Playing with volume (a big skirt and funnel-neck jacket) while maintaining balance (a cinched waist) to keep your pre-fall outfits exciting.

Experiment and be seen.
