the powder dri parka™

This is my 3rd Aritzia Winter coat. Fit was a bit loose but thats okay because we layer up here in the Midwest. It feels and looks like it will keep me warm. Got this during the final sale.

The way it looks very well,I fitted body perfectly.it is very comfortable wear at New York at winter time.

The fabric is fine, but like all parkas, it's heavy but warm, and the size I took was too big and long for me, so I had to return it.

I bought this jacket last year and for Christmas this year I received a Canada goose. The quality of the Aritzia jacket is far superior. The materials, the straps, the warmth. Considering returning my Canada goose to get this one in black. I love it so much and get so many compliments on it. Definitely save your money and get this instead!!

This is a very well made, surprisingly lightweight winter jacket. It’s comfortable right off the bat. Love the zippered pockets (which is an improvement over the original Powder parka). Tested it out today in light winter rain and it kept me completely toasty. For day to day use, the jacket length is perfect as well. Would have if it cinched in slightly at the waist. I purchased this in black, which you can never go wrong with, but would have loved to see it in navy or dark forest green!

This is the nicest jacket I’ve ever owned. It is so warm, the material is resistant to everything, it has a functional fit, but also looks really good. I receive compliments on it every time I wear it!

I returned the regular Powder Parka and got this. I absolutely love it. I like the straight cut on this vs the more cinched/hourglass outline of the regular Powder Parka. This one also doesn't have fur on the hood, and the pockets have zippers which is a big plus. I also love the thumb cuffs, which are the same as the Superpuff. The most important thing to me though, is that it's much lighter than the regular Powder. I definitely think it's worth the extra money over the regular. I was also torn between this and the superpuff 2o but the fabric on this one just feels so much more robust/durable. It's been keeping me warm in zero degree weather so far, and I'm sure it'll be fine if it gets a bit colder here in Vancouver. For reference I'm 125lb, 32DD and am able to wear a thicker sweater underneath my regular size S. Super super happy with this parka.

I loved this jacket, was buying to replace my old Bancroft parka from Aritzia. My old parka was a small so that's what I ordered but I found it to be much too big even with a sweater underneath. Will reorder, great quality jacket! Would love more colours

I tried on the S in store and decided to order the M online. The S fit, but I went with the M because when I lifted my arms it moved the whole jacket. 5'9, 135lbs, broad shoulders for reference. I have the Super Puff original in a M, but the hi-gloss (green) will show water drops so needed something that was waterproof and this is perfect!

Love this jacket! It is super toasty! Perhaps not the most flattering jacket- I would much rather be warm, even if I look a bit bulbous. Before purchasing, I loved the idea of magnetic buttons and thought they would be super practical, but upon wearing I find I’m constantly attaching myself to my vehicle. Although slightly annoying, not a big deal. Overall I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase.

This is very nice coat of amazing quality that will last for years. And not just because of quality but also because of style that is not too tight but not too oversized and not too puffy. It looks right for any city activity from going to the office to walking with the kid. Looks nice with jeans or dress pants. At the same time, if you take it to the cottage to walk in the winter forest, it will be right coat to do so. I do not care that it is waterproof but I noticed that it is much lighter than the original Powder parka and looks not so sporty. I also like the matte material that looks much richer than nylon material used for most puffers. And no that terrible synthetic fur that "decorates" most parkas. It is on expensive side, which is only one drawback but since it is going to be use on most days during our long Ontario winters, I would say that cost per use is not so dramatic for such a quality coat.

Love this parka but its not as warm as the super puff. So if you are looking for something super crazy warm and cozy go the super puff rout! Otherwise definitely fits larger than expected, I wear a 0/ 24/ xxs in almost all Aritzia brands. Would have done a xxxs if I could have. Overall this is very well made, and well thought out - the magnetic closure is substantial, the optional thumb hole sleeve, and the double zipper is perfect and sturdy. Love the matte pearl colour.

This coat is long enough and, warm enough to wear over PJ’s when walking a puppy in the wee hours of a winter New England morning. The zipper is a little finicky in the dark. The fabric is wind and waterproof. I am 5”4” and 100 lbs the XXS is comfortable over a bulky sweater, in my opinion this means it runs large. The leaf green is a pleasant, neutral color.

I have been wowed by this jacket. I am a medium in almost all circumstances but ordered a large based on reviews - large was WAY too big. This is true to size! I am 5'10, 160ish lbs with very broad shoulders and this fit my arms.
The coat is incredibly warm and just feels like amazing quality. It really puts my past winter parka to shame. The interior is almost silky. And the magnetic buttons are so cool!
My only real complaint is the color. It looks greener online. IRL it's a gray-green. I wish it was a little more green. The white is really pretty white - I was hoping it would be more off-white.

Quality is great, love the length (not super long) and it is super warm in the cold but not overly hot when it’s not as cold outside. Hoping this jacket will last for years as it is definitely an investment.

I like that its super warm but also really light. Thinking how light it is I could go one size larger for a more edgy look. I'm a Small and bought the Small. It's true to size.

Excellent quality and very beautiful coat

It’s a good fit, very nice fabric and quite cozy and warm especially in a cold wind. The storm cuffs are a nice feature. I really like the Olive Leaf Green colour and would recommend this coat to anyone looking for warmth in the cold and often damp winter weather.

This was my second choice as the coat I wanted has fur on the hood but was sold out! But this one is very warm and I love the colour too. The pockets are incredibly soft and warm too!

This is my first down jacket, and wow it's incredible. This jacket is incredibly warm yet lightweight. You do not need a thick sweater or multiple layers for everyday wear, especially if you're going to be indoors. I'm anywhere from a size small to large, but my true size is medium. I ordered medium and have plenty of space for thicker sweaters. If I didn't want to wear sweaters, I would have gone down a size.

I have searched high and low for this parka!! I wanted something that wasn’t super puffy, durable fabric as I have a dog that jumps up and something super warm. I am consistent with a side large in NF/HH or a 10 in Lulu and I ordered the large based on the size chart. It was pretty big so I exchanged for a medium ( which was super easy) and it fits ways better!! Just debating on if I want to order the long version as well for the really cold days in northern bc. Totally recommend this jacket!! Also love the magnetic snap closure and the super durable zipper, this jacket is amazing!!

Totally love the look of this jacket, as well as the fact that it keeps you warm from the elements. The only annoying little thing is the magnet clasp, that sometimes attaches me suddenly to my dirty car or other metal objects around. LOL. But totally love this purchase!

The fit of the jacket is amazing, so flattering and fun for the winter. It keeps you warm in cold Canadian winters… that’s no small feat. Love love love this jacket.

For a person who is typically cold, this jacket has kept me warm and dry when raining and snowing, even in windy, cold conditions for hours when travelling. Magnetic “buttons” close and release quickly closing the front without effort. Pockets are soft, comfy & warm. Hood is warm and covers face well. A bit bulky but worth the warmth.

The coat is extremely warm amd soft. I love it! I stood outside fir 2 hours in freezing temperatures and wasn't bothered at all.

I like that this coat is not puffy but still warm. It is waterproof, fits down to about my knees (I'm 5'7) but I wish I sized up. All my other Aritzia coats are size XS and I can wear a sweater comfortably under. In this one, I feel squeezed, especially around my shoulders.
If you're planning on staying outside in the extreme cold for a while though, I'm not sure if this coat would hold up. But so far, it's fine for my short walks around the neighbourhood.

Fine, conservative design without flare but practical! Water and wind-proof, solid hardware, well-fitted hood and neck protection. To be seen if it really works at -30…Zipper opening from the bottom gets stuck. XL none too big!
