Meticulously crafted to deliver warmth to -10°C / 14°F, this is a single-breasted coat with a classic fit, hand pockets and a notched lapel. It’s expertly tailored with Virgin Wool — soft virgin wool with a luxuriously smooth, felt-like feel. It’s sourced from Milior, one of Italy’s premier mills. This coat is lined with an ultra-thin UnReal Suede Interlining for an added layer of lightweight warmth and wind protection — the same streamlined look with no added bulk.

Composition?
The colour is wonderful (camel) and the fit is great, I ordered an XS and it is oversized as stated and roomy but not too long or short on the arms. For reference I’m 5’5, 125 lbs. My only disappointment in the coat is that when I bought it, the website above states the coat is 94 % wool, 6 % nylon. I’m big on fabric quality, and was shocked to find that the tag on the coat I received read 80% wool, 20% nylon. Pretty big deal to be lying about the percentage of wool in an expensive item like this. I loved aritzia for the quality fabrics they used but have noticed over the last few years items have gone from 100% natural fibres (wool, silk etc) down to less and less percentages, and now straight up fraudulent advertising. I think they believe the average consumer will not notice… extremely disappointing.

Fit is much larger than usual
Overall fit is quite a bit bigger than other Babaton XXS coats, shoulders were wider, sleeves were longer and body was looser. Quality was ok, not as thick and soft as other styles/previous versions. Don’t think it would be warm enough.

Shoulders are wider than usual and sleeves are too long
The sizing is off. 2xs used to fit me like a glove and my weight or frame hasn't changed much. The shoulders are too wide and the sleeves are always too long by about 4-5 inches. The quality is okay and is starting to decline with their new stedman coats (I've bought 4 of the new stedman coats in the last 3 years).

I was very satisfied with my coat and I love the colour. The fit is slightly loose for me which is fine because I can wear a thick sweater underneath. I'm really excited to wear my coat!
