the powder parka™ long

Was in need of a new parka, my last one from TNA is still good after 10+ years but I needed something longer and going up a size ! The powder parka provides so much warmth, flexibility and feels so cozy. I would normally go xs for longer items since I’m short but went to a size small to fit layers underneath comfortably. I have lots of room without being oversized which is perfect for winter. So pleased with this purchase !

I bought this coat in 2020 because I was immediately impressed when I saw it in store! It’s gorgeous, heavyweight, warm. I’ve had this coat for over 2 years now and it still looks brand new. I love the long length because it matches my modest wardrobe. Without looking frumpy, this jacket is slimming and very classy. After all this time I still get compliments on it whenever I wear it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

There is a hole on parka and down keep going out

Hey. So I just wanted to say I love my jacket. I got this in white. I know white....I went to wash it last night. Hand wash in my bathtub. And used only detergent (Altitude). And it came out with some kind of stains all over the jacket. I'm devastated. Should have brought it to the dry cleaners. So please as a warning to anyone. Do not hand wash a white jacket. I'm so disappointed. Only got to wear the jacket for a month.

I ordered the coat online so wasn't too sure on how much longer this one will be compared to the regular length one. The length was too long and made it hard to move freely or sit, for that reason I exchanged for the regular length. Definitely a warm coat tho, and would be best suited for those above 5'9.

This coat is super warm, the fabric is thick and durable. It is a bit on the heavier side, I wouldn’t want to walk around a mall with this on, but perfect for walking the dog in the freezing cold! I also really like the length, I am tall so it is really nice to find a coat that is below my knees.

The zipper is not great. It gets stuck a lot and I am not sure it will last because of this.

Expect it to be pretty heavy, but guaranteed that you won't feel cold when worn.

I’m just over 5’7 and I weigh 155lbs. I’m definitely thickest around my belly and hips after becoming a mom 2 years ago. Based off of the information I inputted, my recommended size was a large - 88% chance I’d be happy with a large, and 59% chance I’d be happy with a medium. This was surprising to me as all of my tops are a medium and all of my coats are a small (mostly from Abercrombie.) I’m so glad I went with my gut and ordered a medium! It fits perfect. The material is thick and warm, without being too heavy. The hood is super insulated, and I love the length.

I order a size M online base on the recommendation, but it fit really big!! It normally fit me when I get the recommended size, but this parka is fully misleading by the other customers. Need to get one size down !!

The one I bought has drawback. The left sleeve are not fully filled with downs. Parts of it are empty!! I can’t believe this happened!

The quality looks great. Haven’t had the chance to test it under extreme cold just yet.

Ordered a medium in case I need to layer, and it fits great. Perfect coat for harsh New England winters

Perfect jacket for northern wet cold winters. This jacket is great quality and is by far the best value for the price. I am 135 lbs and 5’8” and went with a medium. I love the fleece lined pockets and fur hood trim. Feels so cozy!

Can check mark to all requirements for winter coat - warm, flattering, not too oversized but not snug, so thick sweater can be easily worn under it. Good length with side openings so easy to wear when driving. Nice attached hood. Faux fur can be removed, depending on preferences. I bought it in modern taupe which best suits the style of the coat.

Not my style, too heavy and not warm as described I had to return it.

The perfect parka. It’s super warm and isn’t heavy (I also have the TNA Summit jacket, which I find the hood of really heavy if it’s not up, even if the fur is removed.)
Love the length of this jacket as well. It provides extra protection from the wind. The zippers at the calf make getting in and out of the car easy!
I sized down in this jacket because it looked a bit bulkier, and I’m really glad I did! I’ve worn this jacket with oversized sweatshirts and sweaters and found there’s still room.

Parka is slightly heavy but it’s probably the material that will keep you the warmest! Purchased my normal size fits very well. I’m 5’5 and it comes down to mid calf. Can’t wait for -30 and up, I’m confident I will be kept very warm!! Fur on hood is very plush! Which what I wanted! Happy with my new coat!

Definitely size down a size for a regular to medium build shape, the other reviews are misleading the the aritzia size guide is horrible and definitely warped in sense of fit. Ordered a size large from reviews and the size guide suggestion, and it’s too big, will need to go through the hassle of ordering a medium. Ordering online is a more convenient option, but the exchange/return process is such a hassle and Aritzia can definitely do better in that aspect.

Great quality jacket. I was in search of a long coat to get through winter in NYC. This coat falls about mid calf on me and I think the length really does make a difference in keeping me warmer. The hood is VERY roomy and the faux fur has a luxurious look and feel. I have it in a small and while it fits well in the shoulders, it is slightly roomy in the torso area - but this doesn't bother me as it gives me room to layer underneath if needed. I wish the pockets were a little bit deeper but it's not a big deal.

I love the powder parka. Exactly what I was looking for. Not too bulky and very warm.

Best winter down jacket ever; warm and stylish!

Hands down my favourite purchase of 2022. It’s the perfect length and so warm. I did size down one size and love the fit. The hood is so big and warm. Cold Canadian winters simply cannot touch me now.

I've been out in sub-zero temps and this coat has really kept me warm. Very well made! I'm 5'6" 125 lbs and I usually wear small, but in coats I usually get medium so I can wear bulky clothes underneath. Size medium of this coat is great.

I love this long version; the fit is slimming, if that's what you like. Sticked to my true size. I wore it in -15 to -20C with a hoodie inside, it's warm. Haven't test it for lower temperature yet.

It's amazing! Warm and cozy

I bought the powder parka long in the ‘kelp’ colour. The colour is gorgeous, looks just as lovely as the images and really sticks out in a sea of black winter coats. The hand pockets are AMAZING, so soft and warm and they nestle up the thick down which makes them really cozy. The length is perfect though it does make it a bit harder to walk which is fair. The hood is also great, it never looks droopy, it’s not too large like some of the other Aritzia coats, and it’s very warm. The temperature rating of the jacket is -40° but…. The down is a bit thin in some areas. Particularly in the arms and elbows which was disappointing. I waffled between returning it and not, but I ended up keeping it because when I looked at others in-store they all had similar issues. It feels like some of the down was left out of certain quilted patches. The cost is still warm enough and since it looks so good I don’t regret keeping it. But we’ll see how it works out when the temperature really drops.

One star off because of the zipper that’s a bit stiff and pockets. It would be great if there were more pockets on the inside. Overall the jacket is warm, the hoodie protects me in the snowstorm, great for commuting in the city.

It is so warm and comfortable. This is for the very cold weather and the length is perfect for icy weather

I hate buying new things (save the environment!) but this was just so fuzzy and cute and soft…

I sized up so that I could layer underneath but I suspect my normal M would have been fine as well. Really tough material on the outside, very wind proof. Tested in -36 so far, definitely the warmest coat I've ever tried! Hits just below the knee and the length makes a huge difference in keeping warm.

I’ve been eyeing this jacket for a while now and decided to finally get it, and I love it! I’m always walking in the cold because of my dog, and this parka has kept me warm during these walks. I also find that the parka has a slimming look to it, which is definitely a bonus. The placement of the pockets is perfect, and it’s also fleece-lined which is great for when I sometimes forget my gloves. Overall, in love with the parka!

I had the navy blue one of this, and loved the way the white looked. However, when I received it I noticed the white has a yellowish tinge to it, it’s still a beautiful coat, but if you’re like me and don’t like the off white look then definitely reconsider buying this coat.

I love this coat. It’s so warm and no wind gets through. It’s waterproof on the outside which is enough for me. It’s pretty heavy duty! Feels like a coat that has a job to do, but looks pretty while doing it.
I’m 5’5” 125lbs and the small fits perfectly. Enough room to layer underneath, but I’m not swimming in it if I just have a normal long sleeve on.

This coat hits mid calf for me and I love it so far! I almost can’t wait until it’s -40 degrees out. I bought a medium because of the reviews so my arms didn’t feel restricted. I always thought I wanted a “puffer” coat but this is warmer than that and more my style, also it’s flattering so I don’t feel like a marshmallow !

Last Saturday we were witnessing hundreds of brave souls take a dip in Lake Ontario for a Brainfreeze fundraising event. The temperature was above 0 degrees Celsius. The problem was the rain combined with 90kph winds from the north! My back was very wet!!????

Super warm parka, good quality material - the coat definitely has some weight to it. The zipper is sturdy, which is nice, but I had to mess with it a bit to zip it together. I ordered an XS and it fits perfectly with a long sleeve shirt or thin sweater underneath. I don't think I'd be able to wear anything chunky underneath or multiple layers with the parka (it's warm enough that you don't need to). The length is great, and the straps on the inside are a nice feature. It's a coat that can last many winters if you take care of it!

Get this now! I love it. Wish it was longer, but at 5’8 I wish everything was longer. I get so many compliments on this and 2 of my friends each just ordered one because they loved it so much. I find it tight on the shoulders, since I have broad shoulders but one it settles it got better.

Beautiful jacket, very warm, but breathable. Favourite extra - should straps inside. I put those on and can wear my parka around the mall. Truly the best jacket I have ever purchased.

I am super sensitive to the cold, however this parka is very warm. It’s long enough to coverup until knee length. Looking forward to enjoying winter a bit more this year while staying warm. Hood is also a big size and blocks wind from hitting my face. Can remove fur if it’s too large at times.

Small downside- zipper is a bit tricky. It needs to be lined up with the bottom zipper to work and can be a struggle at times.

Stylish, warm, and functional to get through Canadian winters

I'm really loving this jacket, I'm about 5'3 or 5'4 and this falls just slightly above my ankles. I'm fully covered with this jacket + my mukluks. The jacket feels very nice & heavy, the material feels very good & the hood is just so soft. The jacket is great when it's super windy out.

I did wish I went up another size as this, for me, does fit smaller. Usually a medium I have some wiggle room but this fits pretty snug. I also wish this vers had snaps/zips on the sides of the legs, I know another version of this has that option but that one did not have good reviews which is why I went for this one.

Overall, very satisfied with the quality & warmth! As a Winnipeger, I'm actually not dreading winter this year lol

Warmest and nicest winter coat I've ever worn.

Well fitted long parka. Waterproof but for heavier rainy days you start to see the wet/ dark spots in the Taupe. Overall, does the work in keeping in warmth and dry.

The fit is right on the assessment that I did prior to buying. It’s roomy still to fit a sweater under. I’m 5’4 and 135 and the medium is perfect. The white is stunning and fresh. The fur collar is warm and not bulky
