the only coat

Gorgeous coat. I am XS-S US4 5’4 and 120lbs and took a XS and it’s oversized. I would have liked to try on the XXS (which I would never wear this size) for a more fitted structured look but I don’t mind the XS oversized look either. I can wear a hoodie under it and it’s not tight anywhere. Thick and warm.

I ordered this coat online. I wasnt sure how oversized. I sometimes where a medium or large depending in the style. In this coat the small was perfect!

Very good quality and super warm. Only concern is the colour i got pulls pink/purple and it’s suppose to be a greyish beige colour.
It’s also super oversized, i usually wear a medium and i got a small and it’s still roomy enough for a large sweater under it

I ordered an xs and it’s roomy plenty to accommodate a hoodie underneath. My usual size is S. Color is true to picture i got the pillar grey! Super soft material overall happy with purchase.

I love everything about it, but it definitely fits larger than expected. The description said “just shy of oversized”… its actually just oversized. Fits beautifully nonetheless.

Beautiful silhouette and fabric. The website recommended size large, but I sized down to medium based on the reviews, and really glad I did, because the medium was a perfect fit and there's still room for a thick sweater underneath. Looking forward to wearing it when the weather gets cooler!

This coat is gorgeous and the fit is intentionally oversized for a modern esthetic. I stuck with my usual size medium because the shoulder width/arm length would be too small if I sized down. Taupe is the perfect neutral for any outfit and really pretty in person.

I love this coat but definitely size down. I originally ordered a large and it was way too oversized. I reordered a medium and it is perfect. It fits better but still has a slightly oversized look.

I am 5’4 and I usually wear a size small at Aritzia (medium sometimes) and I was looking for a coat that wasn’t tapered. This coat is perfect! It’s oversized but it doesn’t look sloppy or like it doesn’t fit. It is beautiful and fits as shown on the model. Bring on winter! ❤️

Ordered the small first and it was WAY too big, so I sized down and the extra small is perfect. Just roomy enough to be oversized but won't swallow my entire body. When you do size down, you lose a little length in the body and arms, but it was worth it for the width reduction. The Burnt Cedar colour is so lovely, darker than the photo on the website shows which I love.

I sized down to a 2xs for an oversized fit on my 5’4 130 lb frame. I tried the xs but it was too large on my frame. This coat in bone is the most gorgeous winter coat I’ve ever seen! It feels so luxurious on and the length is perfect. Easy to layer sweaters underneath. I am debating purchasing it in black too!

Classic colour. Roomy enough for sweater or blazer.

The fabric is luxurious and soft. It is an oversized fit but I like it that way so I can wear a sweater with it and not feel bound up. It is a very nice coat. I highly recommend.

It's so warm, I am obsessed with the length, and I wish I could have at least 3 more of the same coat.

The coat is fully lined and warm but roomy enough for a thick sweater underneath if necessary. I loved the color.

I always wanted a good quality coat that fit right, but was also extremely warm. This is that coat. It’s very flattering and with a scarf around your neck keeps you very warm.

The only downside is, it does not have pockets.

This is exactly what I was looking for. Oversized yet a flattering cut. The small in the Babaton slouch new looked a too oversized, but the small in this has a proportioned oversized look on me at 5’4”. The perfect shade of tan, I wanted something with a lighter color but still gives the camel coat look. It is seriously warm, yet versatile. Wore it in Chicago when it was 25 degrees and didn’t even feel a chill.

I wanted a versatile coat that I could wear with blazers and this was perfect. It's roomy in the shoulders which is perfect for layering and so toasty warm. I'm 5'3" with broad shoulders and the S was perfectly oversized and this was a good length.

Originally I wasn’t a fan of this coat due to its slightly baggy fit, however my impression has changed. It’s a great coat! After sizing down (I’m normally a M and bought a S), the fit is slightly loose, but still drapes in a beautiful, feminine way. The material is top notch - the wool is super soft thanks to the cashmere, but also resistant (no signs of pilling at all despite several times of use). Overall it’s just a very easy, understatedly chic coat to wear either casually or when dressing up. I purchased this in the gorgeous forest green colour and it works so well with my fair skin tone. Now looking to buy in the navy and/or light heather grey. I agree with someone below who wrote this is the year to purchase the Only coat!

I got this in a light pink although I already have it in Saville, it’s such a nice colour! It is a loose fit, 173cm 56kg I probably would fit in XS but I like the baggier look.

I absolutely Love my coat. So much so that I bought another in a different color AND the cocoon coat too!

I'm 5'9 and a size medium fits well. I could've gone with small but I have broad shoulders and wanted comfy.

I sized down cause the small was a bit too oversized for my liking. It’s meant to big big but I felt I was swimming in it.

Fits larger, can wear a thick sweater underneath, but that's the look - an oversized look. I tried the Only Mid, but the oversize look actually didn't look right. Concierge was great to deal with

The coat that I recieved have some permanent crease marks on the fabric. (Not from the wrinkles) I returned it to the store.
Inspect your coat carefully for imperfections under the natural day light. I didn't notice it right away I was thinking the marks were the wrinkles when in fact they are not.

I tried on all the wool coats at Aritzia and debated for months; this coat is by far the softest wool (I guess the cashmere wool wins!) making it the coziest next to your skin. This coat is very oversized, I was drowning in my regular size. I found the 2XS fit perfect while still having that oversized feel. My normal size is XS in a super puff and S in most other clothing at Aritzia….so I recommend sizing down 1-2 sizes for the perfect look. I can’t recommend this coat enough, I picked it up in camel and I’m in love.

I had been debating on getting a long puffer or a wool coat and I'm so glad I went with this one! Super chic and dresses up any outfit. Definitely on the oversized end of the spectrum, so I sized down and I still have plenty of room under to layer

Great quality, but exchanged for one size smaller. Too bad the new size is on backorder for another month. I doubt I'll get to wear it much as the winter season will be nearly over.

Fabric is soft and luxurious, feels like a more expensive coat. Slightly over sized so I sized down for a more fitted silhouette.

Amazing coat!!! Very warm and stylish

I was hoping this coat would work out for me, but it really didn't. The size M (which I normally wear for all Aritizia coats) was way too large for me - I was completely swimming in it. It was "baggy", in a bad way. One size smaller meant the sleeves were slightly too short. Perhaps this style is not meant for me, but I was overall disappointed in the coat, and much prefer the belted, classic feminine styles such as the Connor or Montage coats (which I own). Apart from my concerns with the fit of this coat, the quality did appear quite good. I prefer the wool on this coat over the camel hair version of the Slouch coat.

I have the launch jacket from aritizia, and was looking for a white wool coat for a long time. The only jacket is elegant, a bit oversized for a short person. Materials feels soft and high quality.

I'm 5'1" and 115 lbs. I wear the Cocoon coat in S and the old version of the Slouch in 1. I had to take this in XXS and I still have room to wear thick sweaters underneath. The regular sizing is NOT for petites. I took in the sleeves and the bottom quite a bit. Please make all of the colours in petite sizing!

Feels good. A bit too big on me even with XXS. Not that warm.

I previously had an older and shorter Only coat that I loved until I lost weight and had to part with it. I ordered this new one and love the fit! I sized down a full size and it’s still roomy enough to wear with bulkier sweaters this winter.

Great quality jacket and the cigar colour is a rich brown. I definitely see myself wearing this a lot, it's very versatile! It does run quite big, I'm usually a M on top and I ordered a small and could've sized down - but it looks great oversized as well. One star off because it came with a weird factory smell. I'm sure it'll air out in time but was a bit off-putting when I first started wearing it.
