Meticulously crafted to deliver warmth to -10°C / 14°F, this is a fully lined single-breasted coat with a notched lapel and a vegan chamois interlining for added warmth and wind protection. Recently redesigned for an even better look, fit and feel, it's expertly tailored with Wool Melton — soft 100% virgin wool melton with a luxuriously smooth, felt-like feel. This fabric is sourced from Lane Di Prato, one of Italy’s premier mills.

Beautiful coat, but thin and not as insulating as the Only
I love the fit and details of this coat. It’s beautifully designed. My biggest complaint is that it is not very warm, and for the price I feel it should be more insulating and cozy. I live in the PNW, and we can get some very cold winters. Very easy to layer with a thin sweater or throw on quickly though. The fit is true to size, and overall the design is nice.

Classic tailored coat
I purchased the New Stedman coat in black. I was looking for a classic, tailored wool coat that I could dress up or down. I love the quality and simplicity of this coat. I purchased the Only Coat in camel last year and while I love that style and fit as well, I preferred the Stedman's more tailored fit in the black color. It was true to size. I am usually a size Large and that's what I bought. (In the Only Coat I take a size Medium.)

Beautiful Coat
Really love this coat, perfect wardrobe essential and have been wanting one forever. I tried both the ‘New’ Stedman and Stedman versions - preferred the ‘New’ style, material is softer and less itchy, and fit is more tailored specifically in the sleeves, the Stedman sleeves were very wide. I’m always in between a medium and large with Aritzia so it differs with every item which size/fit I prefer. I used the size guide and it suggested large so that’s what I originally ordered but it was huge on me, specifically too wide in the shoulders. So I re-ordered in medium and it was perfect. I am 5’9 170 pounds for reference.
