Lovely colour and fabric!

If you have a smaller waist and larger behind, this isn't going to work.

When I bought these shorts, I went to the store to try them on, and I chose size 2 according to the size I tried on in the store, but the store didn't have the color online. When I received the shorts, the size was very small, completely different from the ones I tried on in the store. So I can't return it now, and I can't wear it.

I had already bought these shorts in a different colour that fit these new colours are much smaller and I can’t wear them I’ll have to return them

I absolutely love these shorts, please bring them back in black!! I have a hard time finding shorts that fit my body and I love the longer length for coverage. Like other reviewers I sized up (I normally do in shorts), they are a bit loose in the waist but fit great everywhere else. I have done it all in these shorts (brunch, impromptu hikes, teaching, etc.) And they have held up beautifully. They wash very well too, and stains come out easily with stain remover. My one teeny complaint is that they like to ride up after sitting so I'm having to pick wedgies when I stand up or pull the legs down before sitting.

I like the colour and the style of it. The fabric is very nice.

The fit and fabric are great. I love that I can dress up or down with these shorts…heels or sneakers.

I love these shorts because the quality is amazing, and they spruce up any summer outfit! However, the sizing for these shorts run SO SMALL. For example, I fit a curvy 8/10 for jeans. When I read the reviews, I decided to order a size 12 but they barely fit my waist, so I sized up again to a 14 and they fit wonderfully! So if you have a curvy body/tummy like I do, definitely size up 2 sizes!

I want to give 0 rating. This is the worst quality of product I've ever bought. It was broken when I wore it the second time. I was in the office, and it was so embarrassing. I've been buying Aritzia products for at least 5 years. I don't know why the quality of Aritzia have been this bad in the recent year.

These are great shorts for work and I’ve already gotten complements on them, but they definitely run small. I had to size up and even the size up is a little tight, I just couldn’t be bothered exchanging them again since Aritzia doesn’t make online exchanges easy.

These are my new favorite shorts for the summer. They’re so comfortable yet look really sophisticated and cool. I was worried about them being too long since I’m 5’3 but they hit just above my knees at a flattering length. I’m 112lbs 26inch waist and got a size 2 and they fit perfectly. I also got the color white and they aren’t very see through.

Normally I’m a size 4 but i sized up to a 6 for that extra bit of room along the waist. I’m glad I did. These shorts are comfy and the fabric is great.

I tried these on a whim because I wanted a different looking pair of shorts and they look great on. I did what I normally do with high waisted bottoms and sized up. I liked them so much I ordered another pair the day I wore the first ones I ordered.

The sizing on these shorts is completely off. I am consistently buy a size 6 and even the size 8 was snug. I then ordered a size 10 and that was too big. So I am returning all of them - sadly. I really wanted to like these.

No one makes dress shorts like Aritzia. I search every summer but at their price point, Aritzia is the best. These sweet shorts are cut to flatter and great wrinkle resistant fabric. I find it necessary to size up to get the fit I want. Because I’m short waisted, I prefer a mid rise but these are high waisted shorts. In regular pants I’m comfortable in size 4 (122 lbs) but sized up to get a lower waisted effect. Size 8 fits exactly as I want them to. Wish I could afford every colour but summer is too short a season for that much of an investment. Thanks, Aritzia designers, for a classic look that’s work appropriate and beautiful.

Great alternative to any outfit that would look great with a mini skirt, except this has pockets! And you have more freedom of movement. I'm looking at other colors now!

Really love these shorts. The material is so light and nice enough for the office. Also love the length, a little longer than shorts I typically see.

The shorts look really nice and fit well. The waist is slightly smaller than expected, but still fits. The construction is well made, but for this price I would have expected them to be lined, which they are not.

Beautiful colour and the style is lovely, can be dressed up or down. It definitely fits smaller as I'm normally a size 4 and it was a bit snug. I'm also 5'4" and the 7" length was a bit awkward for me imo. I'll likely try the shorter 5" length and definitely checking out the full length pant!

My husband thinks they are weird, and that’s how I know that they are cool. Professional touch on any outfit with these.

They are so versatile! Can be dressed up or down! Love the fit, they are very flattering and fit true to size.

The most flattering shorts!

I got the grey color and it looks super chic. I ordered both size 6 & 8. I had to go one size up with this shorts. My usual size is 6 but I had to go for 8 even though 8 was little tight on the waist but 10 was way too big. I recommend it.

They fit incredibly well! I have a very athletic figure and need to size up for my bum and legs, and they hug my hips and bum perfectly with some room in the legs. I would buy if you’re looking for shorts that you can wear everyday that aren’t Jean shorts and you’re looking for some chaf proof shorts!

I got a size small, and wears 26/27 size pants, they fit me perfectly and it was nice and stretchy but has a great quality to it. I loved it.

I really like the ways these shorts sit high on my waist and hang/hit my thigh. I am short and actually got these in the 5". They're an appropriate short that doesn't sacrifice fashion/cuteness. Easy to play around with, I prefer these to a denim short ANY day. Usually an 8 but bought in a 10 as the waist was a *little* tighter than other 8's I've gotten in pants from Aritzia.

The style and quality is perfect. Except from the waist a little looser, everything else is fine. Love the color !

I ordered a size 0 for the 3 inch is true to size and ordered size 2 in 5 inch runs - one size SMALLER than 3 inch!
Otherwise, very cute and flowy shorts! As the name suggests, makes for a very effortless look.

Lately I have been struggling with my weight, and not sure about what type of shorts would make me feel confident in my changing body. The effortless short is perfect if you are between sizes...the high waisted fit is very flattering to the figure, and the fabric is not as itchy as the Anthem version. Overall a great piece, that I can see wearing even after I have come back to my normal size.

Bought them for trip to Vegas and they were perfect keeping me classy and cool for the weekend

I got the 5” and I’m usually a 2 but went down to a 0. Size 25-26 inch waist.

Loving these shorts! Super cute but also super comfyy!! Got a size 4 , fits perfectly for the legs but around the waist a bit big

overall they’re very nice, easy to dress up or down, but the sizing personally felt off to me and i had to try on like 3 diff sizes. i eventually had to size up quite a bit, which was a bit odd.

unlike the effortless pants which run slightly larger, these are perfectly sized and the waist to hip ratio is gold!!

The 7' Effortless short is not for me. They are lovely shorts and the material is very comfortable, however, the length of the short is way too long for someone who is 5'. It looked like a skirt on me and was not what I wanted. Probably the sorter version would have been better. Also I take a size 0 and it was a bit big on the waist but not overly.

I've been on the hunt for a classy pair of black shorts for the summer and these are perfect! They can be dressed up or down—truly a closet staple!

These are great shorts. I was worried they would look a bit too long, like a ‘golf short’ look, but nope they fit perfect and I expect them to be a summer staple. Similar to other Aritzia bottoms with a high waisted fit, I sized down on these. I originally ordered a size 6, and they were a touch too loose in the waist. I exchanged for size 4, and they are perfect. I am 5’8, 144 lbs as reference.
