These shorts are great and I love the length. However, they are a bit snug so I will have to exchange them for a bigger size.

Much smaller than previous Effortless Short
I purchased these with the intent of going up a size (2) from a previous pair of Effortless 3” shorts I bought a year ago that were in a size 0. For some reason, these shorts are much smaller in the waist - I could barely connect the clasps which is strange, because I’m a true 2 in my effortless pants. They are also much shorter in inseam by half an inch, maybe? They just feel a tad bit shorter which feels as though my cheeks are about to pop out any moment. I took out my size 0s and they fit perfectly with the inseam coming at 3.5-4 inches. The quality feels different as well. I would prefer my old effortless shorts over the new one. I plan to return these shorts and am sad I didn’t just return them for a size up when I initially purchased them in 2021. For reference, I am 5’3 - 25 - petite. Mostly a size 2 in Wilfred and Babaton pants and shorts.
