the cocoon long coat

I own 4 pairs of cocoon jacket 3 in shorts & one long so this pair might be my 4th if I don’t decide to return them because of the fabric

I was on the hunt for a good quality coat. I purchased this coat last year. Although it feels good, looks good further inspection shows patches of wool missing. I was hoping no one would notice but while out to dinner my husband pointed out that my jacket had patches of wool missing. It’s a shame because it’s a very nice looking coat but for the price I was expecting better quality. I have cheaper wool coats that don’t have that issue of missing patches.

Very warm, fits a bit loosely in the body which I like because I can wear a sweater underneath and still have room. Beautiful dress coat.

I wanted to love this coat but instead of being stylish it swallowed me up. It was very long and seemed to hang on my body even though it was the right size. Great quality though!

This coat is exactly what I was looking for! I’ve been eyeing it for years, and finally went for it. The length and fit are perfect. It’s a super cozy yet chic coat. Received multiple compliments already!
It is a pretty oversized look - I was in between sizes, so I had to size down. I’m 5’7, athletic/thin build and the XS is perfect for me.

Jacket is absolutely gorgeous. Very happy with the look and the fit.

The structure of the jacket is lovely, but the quality is just not what it used to be. The wool of the coat looked as though it had already been worn, and the sleeves were easily 3” too long (and I’m not short, 5’6”). It went back.

The quality of the cocoon coat had really gone down. I’ve purchased a few of these in different colours over the years and they have never pilled, but this one started pilling after a few months of wear. It looked old and fuzzy. Very disappointing.

I love the new long Cocoon coat! It fits perfectly and the wool is of very high quality. This is a coat that I will wear for years to come. I am also a fan of the outside pockets!

I received my order online so excited but wen i opened my package folded from the box wrapped in aritzia paper bag its wrinkled on the bottom part.. i hate it when i wear wrinkles clothes..i wish i could iron d cocoon wool coat, i dont want to spend $just to bring in dryclean store. And bec i dont want to wear wrinkled i decided to return it to the store. Love this cost style & fit i wish they could put in hanger & garment protector wrap & use longer box for coat.

I am so pleased with this Wilfred Cocoon Long Coat with Pop-up Collar made from Italian Wool and Cashmere. I purchased the Size XS in Bone (which is easy to accessorise with any color) and have received numerous compliments. It is beautifully made, looks and feels luxurious. The fit is contoured and flattering. I am 5’ 8” (173 cm) and weigh 120 lbs (54 kilo) The length comes to mid calf. The pockets are placed perfectly and the collar makes the coat stand out from any other. This coat will not disappoint.

This is the type of coat you keep for a decade+. The fit is beautiful, looks way more expensive than it is. Soft material, impecable finishes, and it really keeps you warm! Everywhere I go wearing it people comment on it. highly recommend.

This is such a beautiful coat. Super warm and soft. Easily dressed up or down.

I ordered this coat after purchasing the shorter version of it, which fit perfectly and looked flattering. I assumed the size would be the same as only the length was being increased. This coat is much larger and doesn't fit well and isn't flattering. It looks bulky and square and hangs off me. I should have sized down but the lower size isn't available in stock, so I'm stuck with it.

I own the shorter cocoon coat from a few years ago and the wool was super soft, non-itchy and good quality. It is too bad that the new version looks cheaper, as well as the lining material and stitches and the material is more itchy and it is still the same price...

Overall the style is great and I prefer the longer version. For reference I am a size 8 or medium (5''8, 150 lbs) in Aritzia clothing and I got a size L in this coat since I have broader shoulders.

Arms are awkwardly long for small and extra small sizes. Really bad return policy too.

Beautiful coat, looks great with collar up, but love it also with collar down. Ordered size XS, as I am a smaller person, but found it too tight under the arms for wearing it with bulkier clothes. Small was perfect!

Got this is camel and love it

I get so many compliments on this jacket it's unreal. And I know this price point is an investment for some, but I'm telling you, it looks WAY more expensive than it is. Stunning.

This coat is such a classic! Love the sleek, clean lines and the popped collar, which makes you look effortlessly put together. The material is very nice too - soft, thick and warm. I purchased this in the colour 'cigar' and am very happy with it - it's somewhat neutral, but still a statement piece on its own. The length works very well for me as well (I'm 5'6) - hits me slightly above mid-calf. My only concern with this coat is the buttons, which I can see becoming loose over time. Thankfully the jacket comes with a backup one. I went with a M for this jacket, which is my usual size for Aritzia jackets (Powder, Connor, Montage) and it fits perfectly. Please keep producing this jacket Aritizia, and don't compromise on the quality! Looking forward to buying a different colour in the future.

The coat is very well made and warm. However, it's slightly bigger. I am 5'3", 105lbs, ordered my usual size XS but it was slightly bigger, so I exchanged for XXS and it fits well. The coat is long but not too long for me, it hits my shin which looks great. I can layer a thick sweat inside but it would be a little uncomfortable for an oversized sweater.

I got this coat for Christmas and couldn't be more thrilled with it. It goes perfectly with the dressiest or most casual outfits. The tailoring is beautiful, and the weight is perfect for winters in the south.

I gave it a 4 star because it is longer in length than I would have liked. With that said I still love it and I can layer underneath.

This coat is perfect to cover me from my neck to my legs. Warm and cozy! The buttons are hidden and a bit hard to manipulate.

I bought this in the Heather Gray and it is gorgeous! I am 5'8' and 118 lbs with very long arms and got a Small. It fits perfectly in the shoulders and arms but is a little roomy in the body area. This new version of this coat is more fitted at the top and bells out. But it still looks amazing on, is warm and super well made, and I get a ton of compliments every single time I wear it! I love this coat, especially the collar. Buy it before it sells out!

If I’m going to be really honest, I was low key disappointed that the original version was sold out in my size and ordered the new version to only realize the material of the coat from the inside out has changed. The original one is much more nicer and better quality. Sad that they changed material. That being said, I still liked it enough to keep the new one… just wished I never experienced old version first, lol.

This jacket is everything. It's has clean lines and a unique twist on a classic tailored jacket with the collar. I purchased the heather almond color in size large. I normally wear a size 12 and it fits true to size where I still have room (keep in mind I wear my jackets open). I'm about 5'3 and the length is perfect - it's just below my knees. The heather almond color is this beautiful creamy neutral shade where it's light enough to be a real statement piece. Worth every penny!

I bought this coat to wear in the winter for work or social events. It looks fantastic - so sleek and well-fitting. The high, rigid neck keeps your neck warm and means you don't have to wear a scarf. I have only worn it down to -1 so far but have had no issues at all with it keeping my cozy warm. I can't recommend the quality, style and warmth of this coat enough.

LOVE this the second I put it on and fits TTS. I found the previous versions were a bit tighter in the arms (around the armpit area) but this one has more give without looking bulkier. The coat is so soft and drapes so well. I receive so many compliments every time I wear this. Highly recommend!

Typically a 4-6 in tops and bottoms , (32 D, 27 waist) and I got the S. The arms a little long, but it's passable. I could've sized down to an XS but i like wearing a puffer vest underneath for layering. The size S fits the vest comfortably. I'm 5'4 , 125-130 pounds and it hits right below the knee, so it gives the long coat oversized fit but due to the cut of it and high collar neckline, it still comes off as clean and sleek. Good enough to wear into the office (Financial district), and still look professional.
My frame is straighter so there are no issues with the buttons puckering when they're all closed.
It looks great with some slouchy knee high boots underneath, and looks good open as well.
The quality is great, as my tailor noticed right away that it was one of my nicer coats, haha.
With proper care and maintenance, this coat will last.

Fits great really warm

I'm 5'4 and the coat hits at my ankle for me which was not the look I was going for. Super cute coat up top (I sized up from a M to L for extra room), but the length was definitely too much. I was hoping it would hit just below my knee.

This coat is simply a pleasure to wear. It’s soft, so warm and looks absolutely sleek. Love it and feel great wearing it.

The buttons opens up if you have curves.

Iwould not recommend unless you have a small frame

I was sleeping on this coat for awhile. A hefty price tag attached to it made me think SEVERAL times but man oh man I’m glad I caved! I feel so classy and beautiful in this jacket! You can dress it up and dress it down! I sized up and I’m so happy I did! I absolutely love this jacket❤️ I own 3 coats from Aritizia…I never go wrong! The length is perfect! I plan on wearing this coat whenever I’m going out and I want to wear a lighter jacket than my Mackage parka. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT 😍 GO👏🏾BUY👏🏾IT👏🏾NOW !!!

I love this jacket but only gave it 4 stars because the shoulders and arm area fits slightly smaller and everywhere else fits larger so i had to size down but the arms fit slightly tighter. I am hoping the arms will loosen a little over time
