I found the fit to be a tad on the larger size. I’m normally a M but the S fit really well with room to move and's I was wearing a thick sweatshirt underneath.

After reading mixed reviews I was hesitant to take the plunge on this coat but I’m SO glad I did! Ordered it in a regular, S, Heather Gray. Fits perfectly - very high quality, nice weight, warm, classy. I’ll be wearing this for business in the day & out for dinners in the evening. I’m 5’9”, 135lbs, athletic/slim build, 36C and I stuck with the Regular (Vs Tall) and so glad I did as I like where it lands on my low to mid thigh. Model in the Tall photos is 5’11” and Tall coat looks longer on her than I was aiming for. Personal choice. I love this so much I actually just also ordered another one in Cigar for a warmer look to match some of my other business wear!

Fabric is soft and cozy. An overall good jacket for quick errands

The arm holes on this jacket are too small. My biceps were constricted even wearing a strapless top underneath, while the body of the jacket was quite large on me. For reference, my biceps measure about 12.75" with a 26" waist and I tried the size small which I had to return due to the armholes. If you have normal sized biceps and want to wear a sweater underneath, be forewarned it may be a tight & uncomfortable squeeze.

So soft, warm, and chic! Everything I look for in a coat this coat has! Definitely a quality piece that will last me for years!

I got it in black. I am curvy and the L fits perfectly without giving a bulky look. The length is slightly above the knee, but long enough for dresses or skirt wearing occasions. The collar keeps my neck warm when i forget a scarf and keeps the overall look classic and elevated.

I looked around for quite some time for a good quality, fancy, warm wool jacket & finally found it in this coat. I got Heather dark gray & It goes with everything which is amazing & keeps me warm on cold days, yet keeps me stylish. The collar can be annoying but I tend to fold it down. It’s pretty true to size; but I can fit baggier sweaters underneath!

The coat is beautiful! Size medium was perfect in the black, tan, and grey which I tried on in store. The store was out of stock in Bone so I ordered a medium in Bone online. It was huge! I had to order 3 medium coats before finding one that was okay. and all were different measurements. I even tried a small that was not the same as small in other colours. Very frustrating shopping experience.

I really loved this coat. Small is the perfect size for me even though in other coat I got Medium.

This coat is very soft and the design is great the only thing i didn't like is that it was not a great fit for someone with wider hips. I had to choose a smaller fit to fit me on the top but then the button on the hips can barely close. Regardless of that issue I had i still purchased it because it is such a great coat, i just won’t button all the way ;)!

Can be dressed up or down. I got the XS in Gold Camel (I got the last one in my size!) exact colour I was looking for. A bit oversized but not exaggerated. For reference, I’m 5’5”, 115lbs. I would have preferred if it was about 1/4” wider at the shoulders but it fits beautifully everywhere else so I kept it. I wanted an alternative to all my puffers and this seems to do the trick. I was looking for something to wear when it’s around +2 to + 5
Degrees. Hopefully this coat will do the trick! .

Was NOT planning to buy a new winter coat cause I just bought a super puff last year BUT when I tried this on in store it was absolutely gorgeous. The colour was stunning which is what really caught my eye (bone), but I also enjoyed how beautifully made it is. It is fully lined, all the button holes are well done, and all the hems are clean. The XXS fit perfectly in the shoulders, back and sleeves. It was also a perfect height for my 5'2 body. So elegant. Also love how its part cashmere because it makes the coat soft, warm and most importantly LIGHT. I have a fully wool coat from Aritzia from a few years ago and while beautiful its just soooooo heavy. I appreciate how light this coat is.

Purchased similar coat in black a few years back in XXS and loved it especially as it fit off the rack. Decided to repurchase in camel. and unfortunately despite buying in same size did not fit as well. Both the sleeves and length of the coat would need to be altered, which is primarily why I have rated with 4 stars.

The coat is well made and beautiful on. I read reviews that suggested sizing down and I did that and had to return it as it fits true to size. I am 5’7” 150lbs, usually a medium and I ordered a small but I should have got a medium. It’s small through the shoulders.

The size S was HUGE on me. I had to change it for the XS and loved it.

Great coat. Love the fabric, the color, the way it feels when you put it on. My favorite part is the stand up color. Is just perfect! I would consider getting another one.

This is my second Aritzia wool jacket- they don’t disappoint!

I am usually a small however with the cocoon it feels like im wearing a medium. Im still keeping it. Love it.

It has looser sleeves, good fit for me who's 5ft1, thin frame. A bit slouch oversized looked for my fit. But warm, good in light rain. Good quality seems. Interior pocket. Color is a bit darker than the picture. Dissapointed ln that front. Otherwise happy overall.

Love the coat! Never thought I would fit in an XS but the size is perfect!

I took away one star because although I ordered a Small in Short, the sleeves and overall coat are a bit long on my petite 5’1 frame. I had a store credit and was looking for a black wool coat so I kept it. There is room to wear a thick sweater underneath. It is well made and beautiful.

I had high hopes for this coat. I ordered the grey in short small and dovetail heather in regular small. The dovetail heather is such a gorgeous colour. I tried on the extra small in the store. The extra small fits but with a heavier sweater or blazer the coat buttons pulled open a bit. The material is really soft, but also contributes to it being shapeless. A firmer material would decrease the appearance of lumps and bumps with heavier clothing underneath. The cut has no shaping around the waist so it looked barrel-like on me because I'm so short. The short was not much shorter than the regular. It looks really nice in the model pictures, but the coat probably looks best for a very slim, tall person. I returned everything.

I'm 4'9" 95 lbs. and XXS fits me well. Love the fabric and style. Gave it 4 stars because the sleeve length between XS and XXS is the same. They could have shortened the sleeves by an 1" and it would have been perfect!

I bought this jacket in the taupe colour which is lovely. However I wish I had purchased it in XXS as XS is much big for me. I also don’t like the buttons on the inside of the jacket. It doesn’t lay flat when buttoned up and is difficult to open/close. Overall the jacket looks sloppy at best and I rarely ever wear it. It’s also not warm at all. Would not wear below 5C. This was a regrettable $400 purchase :(

I purchased this coat to replace my old cocoon coat that was stolen. In both instances, I purchased the cigar colour in size small. The fit, colour, and fabric of the new version is completely different than the original -- not in a positive way, imo. Most importantly, the fabric looks and feels less refined. I'd liken the new fabric to cheap felt rather than luxurious wool. I was concerned the new fabric would start to pill, so I returned. If I hadn't owned the original previously, maybe this new version would be ok, but they just don't compare imo.

Love this coat and that Aritzia introduced a petite size for coats this year. Seeing lots of smaller girls swimming in the aritzia coats that aren’t fitted. Three stars as I returned this as the available colours were redundant for other aritzia wool coats already in my closet. If the petite size goes beyond the basic colours into the neutrals I will buy this again in a hot second. Love the coat.

I love the cut and feel of this coat.- it’s a tall, so the sleeves are long enough! I have worn it with a formal dress and with jeans. It’s warm, and not too bulky. I am 5’11”, slim, but have broad shoulders. It is slightly tight across my shoulders, but I run into this with everything I buy.

The fit is quite slimming and you should size down. I’m normally a large and small fit was good. Medium was ok with some room but if you like a more slim fit then small was a better fit on the shoulders for me

Such a beautiful coat, which can easily be dressed up or down! The short length is so appreciated for the 5ft nothing lady! I will definitely buy a second one in another colour!

I liked this coat at first - specifically the way the collar looks popped and is unique. But after only a few wears, the collar started to droop and only stayed up when the top button was closed. Otherwise, it is warm.

I bought the short jacket and I find the fit perfect! It fits me shorter in the arms, sits just below my hips and closes comfortable. I like the material a bit more unstructured, can be dressed up or worn to look casual.

It’s only been a couple weeks but so far really loving this jacket. Perfect for heading into the office or a nice dinner. Obviously doesn’t do well in the rain so try to avoid that. Collar pretty sturdy doesn’t flop around too much. Would have given it a 5 is the material was a little more sturdy/ structured

Yes I would recommend this coat. Gift for my daughter. The fit was xs, and fit her perfect. She loved it.

Classic fit so size up for chunky sweaters. I am petite but got the standard size to have more length. Wish coat was thicker and warmer. This version seams thinner than the older one.
