power hip blazer

I wasn't sure to get it at first but feel like it's a very versatile piece. It's giving powerful vibes without being overly dressy.

I love this blazer. The fit is fantastic with room across the shoulders and not too tight across my arms. The length is longer but exactly what I wanted with this blazer. It's light weight but doesn't feel flimsy.

Love this staple piece! Looks great on and does not wrinkle when travelling. Price is on the high side but worth the investment.

Halo pink is completely different than the picture. It is light violet and looks old.

I actually tried this in store and hesitated to buy it due to the price, haha. But afterwards, I couldn't stop thinking about and decided to order it online. I'm glad I did! It's a beautiful staple piece to have (I got the black). In store, I tried on size 4 and size 6. According to Aritzia's web site, I'm a size 4, but I bought size 6 as I felt it fit better (in the back and in the shoulders).

Colour not as pictured at all. More of a standard olive green. I’m still keeping it because I like the fit of these blazers and olive works with my wardrobe, but it’s definitely not the more interesting vibrant green pictured. Kinda disappointed.

Great blazer, I got a lot of compliment on it. A bit expensive for the feel however, i'm hoping it'll last and keep it's shape overtime. Just be careful when opening the pockets, the thread did leave a small defect inside the pockets.

I purchased this in-store while "window shopping." I think this blazer looks best in black (I tried on black & birch). I purchased the black in a size 6, and I love the fit and feel. It gives off a slightly oversized vibe, without being obvious or boxy. It's got a little bit of stretch to it, while maintaining its structure. It's a very sleek style, perfect for taking your casual outfit up another level. I highly recommend this blazer.

This jacket is beautiful but the photos of the Total Eclipse are very misleading. The true color is just a regular navy, not the lighter blue with gray tones depicted.

I have the same blazer from a few years ago and love it. So I decided to buy another one but didn't try it on again thinking it would be the same fit and quality. I was very wrong. Like other reviews, the quality has drastically gone down and feels cheap. The fit is larger and not as flattering. I highly do not recommend this product.

Fabric is really nice on this blazer but the fit is off if you are petite/athletic build. You would need to have very narrow shoulders for the shoulder padding to fit properly and this jacket fit elsewhere. Too bad, style was great.

I really enjoy the sleek silhouette of this blazer - no collar, hip length, cuffed sleeves. Unfortunately the fabric is a poly/synthetic that is really unpleasant to the touch. The cute folded sleeves are also distorted a bit. It's still cute and I decided to keep it because it's a great blazer if you have broad shoulders, which is hard to find (easy to cut out shoulder pads). Overall it's just overpriced for the fabric choice and lacking in comfort. A wool, linen, or cotton blend would be preferable for future styles.

This blazer fit me like a peignoir robe - just too long. Tye sleeves need to be scrunched up more too.

Will be returning and searching for something more hip-length.

I am a professional violinist and needed a new formal blazer for concerts. This is perfect. It has the right amount of stretch so I can play comfortably and it’s so flattering with fitted black pants. I feel so powerful! I wear a size 6.

I love the cut and style of the jacket (though my usual size 6 was too big). However the fabric seemed very thin and wrinkled and just looked cheap. I am so disappointed.

I don't understand what's happened to Aritzia. Prices have continued to rise, while quality has absolutely plummeted. I have this blazer from prior seasons in at least five colors. This year's version is SO cheap by comparison. Threads hanging out, super thin and cheap-poly feeling, wrinkled beyond recognition upon receipt (the older versions were fairly wrinkle-resistant; clearly the materials used have drastically changed). Outrageous given the price point. I still love the design, but I would no longer recommend this blazer to anyone.

I know this costs a pretty penny, but it truly is worth the amount. The blazer falls just right, is very versatile (can be dressed up/down), easy to travel with & instantly polishes a look off. I was able to get the buff color option (think warm beige) before it sold out & I'm thankful I was able to. It goes with everything & is my go-to piece for work. I recently ordered another blazer in Black (needed a new one, previous styles from other brands had reached their end). For reference I'm 5", 125lbs, slim upper body, curvy lower body & bought size 4. Hangs perfectly, not tight. Hope this helps

I initially got the black which I loved, so I reordered another one in the colour white. Its as if they forgot to add a lining to the back because it is so see through that you can see where the stitching/hems are. Disappointed in the difference in quality.

I have purchased several versions of the power hip blazer over the years and recently ordered a black one to add to my collection and noticed that the quality has changed. It still has the same amazing cut but the fabric is of cheaper quality and holds the cut poorly. Please bring our beloved blazer back!

Really nice, tailored, light blazer, but I’d say it’s a bit longer than it should be (for me anyway). I think an inch shorter would make it perfect.

Loving this blazer! You can dress it up or down. I wore it with some leggings, a babaton sculpt tank, and m.Gemi sandals. Casual but cute work outfit. I look forward to purchasing another. (-:

I like the Power Hip Blazers for their weight, coverage and pockets. They are not lined which makes it ideal for summer suiting. There's a lot of coverage in terms of length and the points at the waistline is flattering on my shape. I chose not to use the slit pockets on this blazer but I have more than one so I use the pockets in some of the other ones, depending on the colour. I would highly recommend it but it was really hard to find my size because it's popular. I recommend buying one as soon as Artizia restocks!

True to size, I wanted a bit larger so I took a size 6 instead of 4, nice fabric, just love this piece!

Love this blazer! Got my usual Babaton size and the size 6 fits true to size. Got it in two colors and will be keeping an eye out for a navy color. (Oh and you can def hand wash this even though it says dry clean only ;))

I love this blazer. I ordered it for work, but it’s so versatile, it can be dressed up or down. The blue is very nice and paired well with my older black Dexter pants.

These used to be amazing and my go to’s. I have old versions in multiple colours and was really excited to get the white/E space one this year. It’s not lined at the back - looks super cheap!!! For $200 - I expected way better, will be returning.
