pleated pant

These pants are super comfy! I usually get the Effortless Pants in the Short length, but I got these in Short and still felt that they ran long on me.

Absolutely love these pants. As someone who doesn’t like the effortless, these pants have the perfect wide leg and length. I’m 5ft2, almost 5ft3 and the short version is my exact length. When I wear sambas, my pants are 1cm away from touching the ground, which to me is perfect. These pants are meant to have a relaxed look(as shown on model) but I sized down to have a more fitted look. Also, as someone who has an hourglass shape, these pants perfectly fit my waist(even a bit tight) but are perfectly loose/relaxed on my thighs. So I get to have the slight relaxed look without my pants falling down. And the thick fabric is amazing!!

Description of pant is accurate. If you get the tall at 5’8, be prepared to hem them.

I love that the fabric on these Pleated pants are a thicker material which makes them perfect for the cold snaps we endure in Calgary. These are a better fit than the Effortless pants for sure. it's almost like a mesh of the Effortless pants and the Agency pants. Love them.

The quality is so great, I plan on getting more and recommending these pants to my taller friends. However, I am 5'3 and the "short" pants are basically dragging on the floor even with platform shoes. Since aritzia does not offer in-house alterations, it may not be worth it if I have to get every pant I buy altered. But the quality is great- light, soft, not easy to wrinkle.

These are not as flattering as the effortless. Bulk quite a bit in the hips and stomach. I returned them for the same color in the effortless pant

I really like it but I can only wear it during winter and fall because the fabric is a bit heavy which is what I was looking for. Very flattering!

Love these pants for work. They are super comfortable and fit great. I personally like them more than the effortless pants, they’re not as tight. I really like the more “looser fit” look to them.

These pants are a perfect fit / length and great for work. They are also extremely comfortable.

The fabric has a nice weight and feel. I got the pants in both light grey and black, after being impressed with the same style in white shorts. The waist doesn't gap in the back, and the pockets are nice and deep. Your tall model is said to be wearing a size 4 with heels, but that seems impossible, since I'm 5'9" and the size 10 just touches the floor when I'm barefoot (which is fine because I always wear flat shoes.) It's too hot outside to wear long pants now, so I'm saving them for the fall.

Loved the pants, but I wish I would have ordered them in a tall length, I feel them a little bit short.

These pants are a thicker material but so classy. Can be dressed up or down.

I ordered these and the Effortless pants in (RE)Essential fabric so this is my comparison review of the two pants in the same fabric.

I ordered both pants in Size 4. I'm usually a Size 2-4 in pants at Aritzia (2 being tight fit, 4 being relaxed fit). I'm also a comfortable Size 4 in this year's Effortless Crepette but also own the New Bridger pants in both Size 2 and Size 4. I'm 5'1", 112lbs, 34C, 26 in jeans.

The (RE)Essential fabric fits more snug than the Crepette fabric. But it was not so much tighter that I had to size up so Size 4 was good.

Compared to the Effortless pants, the Babaton Pleated pants have some key differences: (1) the leg is wider, (2) there is a single pleat instead of 2 pleats on each leg, (3) the pleat starts right at the belt waistband, whereas on the Effortless pants the pleat starts 1-1.5inches below the waistband, and (4) the waist was a tiny bit looser than the Effortless so I was able to wear them 1/2 inch lower.

For petite girlies, if you don't mind the wider leg on the Babaton Pleated Pants, I think these pants can be a better option than the Effortless because the single, higher pleat is more flattering for shorter legs. I also preferred the slightly looser waist so I could wear them lower (the Effortless pants have SUCH a high rise for me). In the end, I kept the Effortless pants in (RE)Essential bc I preferred the slimmer leg but the high rise on the Effortless pants was almost a deal breaker for me :(

I got these in the navy stripes and I adore them. They are so effortless and chic. Thick material with some structure and perfect for work or everyday.

So comfy for everyday wear to work or going out with a cute top.

Love these pants! I wear them at least 1-2 a week. You can dress them up or down. Love how comfortable & versatile they are! Would buy again for sure. Wish they had a grey pinstripe version

Love the fabric, fit and length. I’m 100 lbs, 5’0.

It was okay. Didn't seem like anything special unlike their Agency pant. At the time, the Agency pant only came in one length, so I decided to try the pleated pant in a short length. It was still way too long. If you want a pair of pleated pants, I'd highly recommend the Effortless cropped instead.

Loved these pants -- usually purchase the EFFORTLESS. I wanted them to fit slightly below belly button (similar to model fit) but they are still pretty high waisted. I also like pants to fit a bit slouchy and so I sized up from a 6 to an 8, but fit just right. Also I am 5'7" and selected a regular length and I wish I had gotten tall. They feel great with sneakers and loafers but look weird with heels.

I loved it! Fits amazing, the only problem that I saw is that it catches my cats hair all the time… but overall pretty good!

I just received these pants. Definitely size up as my regular size (10 in short) is tight on me, couldn't even zip up. Overall fabric quality is great.

Whenever I wear this pant I would have people compliment on how it fits. The material is very thick which is perfect for winter. I love how high-rise it is and hug your hips well.
It's definitely a snug fit so I'd recomend size up if youre between sizes.

Can wear casually with a sweatshirt and sneakers, to work with loafers or out to dinner with heels!

I know everyone loves the effortless pants but I just have never been a fan. I decided to try these out and I LOVE them!! They are so comfortable and flattering and I love the material!

The Pleated Pant fits me perfectly. I usually wear a size 0 in effortless pant, but I got a size 2. The material is nice and thick for fall weather. Would definitely buy again!

I'm obsessed with the Re-ssential fabric. The pants fit amazing on my waist and hips, but the length was just too short. The length just looked awkward for such a wide leg. I had to return them.

I would size up from what you wear in the effortless pant. Tried my usual size and it didn’t work.

I am a big fan of wide leg pants. Effortless in crepette drapes better than this fabric. Due to the thickness of this pants, you don’t really enjoy the flow feeling. If you want real wide leg with this fabric, go with founder pants. Overall I love this fabric but not in this style.

Purchased regular length but I'm petite so knew I would need hemmed. Fits TTS everywhere else. The material is soo thick and soft, the most high quality pants I own now, and most all my pants come from Aritzia. I already have the effortless pant and these are same fit and style but thicker, more luxurious quality imo. Amazing steal for the sale price.

I’ve always loved the effortless pants and I have them in multiple colours. I saw these on sale and decided to try them out. They are also amazing! They fit pretty much the same as the effortless pants, they just have a different fabric

Love these pants. Usually a 00, but they only had a 0, which still fit well. Slightly a gap in the waist-but not so overwhelming. Nothing a small belt can’t handle.

Purchased these in the tall length and they fit like a dream. I wear a size 6 usually but I did size up after looking at the size guide. The size 8 tall is perfect for me.

Finally after much searching, a pair of pants with a small enough waist and wide enough hips. I can only say good things about these pants. Looking forward to buying more!

Was excited for these but unfortunately had to return. The fabric was a bit heavy than expected (would make a great dress ont for fall/winter) and it was too small. Typically a size 6/28 and these were way too tight in the waistband. I would go up at least one size from your usual unless you have a very defined waist.

I love the fit and silhouette on these. The waist is a tad bit loose but the 4 was overall a bit tight so I sized up, which I've found in other pants in Re(essential) fabric. I will be either wearing this with a belt or I may have the waist slightly taken in. I am 5'2" but I ordered the regular inseam and I'm fine with that since I plan to wear this with heels and even with chunky sneakers it's not too bad. I considered getting the Effortless pants and when I put these on I was sold on it over the Effortless.

Pretty cute pants, love the color, fits right but could just be a tab more fitted at the hips.

I have a small waist and big hips and bum so it's always a struggle finding trousers that fit my waist, hips, bum and thighs WITHOUT tailoring. It's even harder finding trousers that fit me perfectly and don't need to be hemmed. Enter these pleated pants. They fit me perfectly. Just right on the waist. Just right over the hips and bum. Perfect length in size regular. Super comfortable and super flattering. I purchased three pairs and want to buy at least two more (I'm eyeing Navy and Matte Pearl) because they're just that good.

I love these pants. They are more structured than the effortless but still soft on the skin. Super high waisted and the pleating is very flattering.

These pants feel super luxurious. The material is nice and thick, definitely worth the price. I feel like my body tends to look boxy when I tuck in blouses but these pants add a natural curve to the hip/butt area even if you have just a little to work with!! I’m a size 2 in other brands and size 2 seems to be perfect in these pants, true to size! I’m also 5’7 and these pants go just a little past my ankle so they're not too short or long. Definitely looking forward to buying it in more colors
