only slip satin midi dress

I bought a white linen dress there earlier in the season but didn’t wear it because it was see through! Didn’t know what to get and thought of the slip dress
like my daughter has. I ordered it and it works perfect!

Fits true to size, material not what you would expect for the price point.

I bought this is black and green I'm usually a Med. And sized up because although the small fit and I normal like form fitting I preferred this dress a little bit looser on my chest... I have received so many compliments and the Sicily cardigan (I purchased in xs) goes perfectly with it as it is cropped (bought black and off white)

I love this dress it compliments me in all the right places. I did size up because I have larger boobs and read the reviews.

I got the spiced burgundy colour for an upcoming wedding I am attending, such a stunning colour. I am 5’5”, 130 lbs with an petite athletic build. Other reviews say this isn’t a dress for people with any curves but I disagree, it hugs the shape of your body so nicely. So those of us with some bum and curves, go for it! The only reason I did not do 5 stars is the fabric. It is not as luxurious as it was 3 years ago. Overall, happy with my purchase and recommend it!

Gorgeous dress but it’s very see through. Won’t be able to wear it!

I usually fit a size small in clothing, but I got an extra small for this dress and it fit perfectly! The colour I ordered was coral blush, and the dress is pretty true to the colour shown online. I do wish the material was thicket because I was not able to wear pasties underneath without it showing. Overall, really pretty dress that can be dressed up (with heels) or down (with a plunge cardigan and sneakers)!

I had been wanting to buy the midi slip dress for some time and got it on sale for a steal or a price. Great fit - true to size. For reference I’m 5’4” 119lbs 33” bust 25” waist 35” hips and got an XS. I got a light pink colour which I didn’t notice at first but is slightly see through so finding the perfect nude bra and underwear may be necessary.

The tissu is amazingly good. Fit just right. Colour is as the picture. Goes well on pale skin.

It is slightly on the thinner side, and slightly see through, but I like it more for summer because of that. I bought it in the red so maybe thats why its not so so see through as other reviews suggest. It is super breathable feeling fabric.

So, I actually just returned this dress because I found it too short on me. I am 5'9. However, the dress itself is actually amazing quality and so flattering. The fit otherwise was great I got a medium, and like I said in the title the Lilac color is stunning. The only issue was the length! Aritzia is getting really great though with having tall options in pants and sweaters etc., so I am sure they will soon do this for dresses (or I hope).

Hi! Slightly too small. A little too see-through. I live right across the street from Aritzia in Chicago so tried to exchange, yet they didn't have the size up for me. Usually, the size I ordered is the size I fit.

This thing is horrible. That other review is right. It's paper thin and close to transparent. It doesn't sit right on the body. Even if you're perfectly fit, the way they sewed the back, it bunches up and there's a strange bump. Do yourself a favour and skip this one so you don't have to worry about returning it. (Plus, Aritzia would only give you a gift card instead of your money back, but with their quality going downhill, what else is left to get?)

Bought this dress and I have no worn it once. There are so many crinkles that I cannot get out despite following instructions. Also there is a color deformity. Between the crinkles and the color deformity, this does not look like a fancy wedding guest dress, instead it looks more like a trashy nightgown.

Fabric is very thin, good quality tho. Just didn’t sit on my body very flatteringly.

beautiful dress from the front then the back looks like a wrinkly bunchy mess. so sad, but i’m going to try on a size down in store. i have a bigger butt and small waist so i don’t know if this is just a proportion issue with the dress? as it just bunches and sits on top of my butt and lower back.

The fabric on this dress was so nice a few years ago, the dress wasn’t see through and looked so luxurious on. The reason I’d spend the $100+ on this as opposed to getting a slip from dynamite or other stores was because of the fabric and luxury. Might as well just get slip dresses from other stores if the fabrics gonna be the same and cost way more :(

This is the best basic dress!!! It is cut on the bias, so it is flattering to the body, and the fabric is thick enough to have some support yet light enough to not feel like it!

I’m 68 and this dress hides all flaws!!!! We are going on a cruise to Alaska this July….I need a dress to change up…..wear as a a dress and a jumper…..this is the perfect dress for travel and I plan to wear it this weekend to mass under a blazer……

Was skeptical about buying this as we all know Aritzia doesn’t exactly cater to gals considered “plus size”, but wow. I have never felt so confident in a dress. It’s about above-knee-length and I’m pretty tall, and doesn’t cling in any weird places. A beautiful neckline that can be adjusted massively more modest or less. I’m usually a 14/16 and the 2XL was perfect. A win!

Overall a great quality dress.

Quality is so nice. Fit is like it was tailored to my body so it looks more expensive than it actually was. Can be worn in so many different ways and still be put together. Get this!

I wore this for a baby shower (it was a yellow version with small blue and brown flower print) and it was gorgeous. I had someone tell my how they loved my dress. It’s not very form fitting but I liked the style actually. It’s very light and airy and looks super chic. Can be worn so many different ways it’s quite versatile. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Too little fabric in the front (clings to tummy even though I am slim) and too much fabric in the back (hangs weirdly and piles on top of my booty instead of gliding over it). I tried sizing up but then it just looked like a sack that still somehow clung to my tummy.

I didn't expect to like this dress as much as I did. The fit is amazing - follows your curves, without being too tight. Love the adjustable straps, and length (which hits me right below the knees). I got this in the aventurine green and it is so stunning. Beautiful rich, peacock-green colour. Wore it with a leather jacket for a bday dinner and got many compliments. Looking to purchase it in the burgundy and black now as well. Please make this in navy! For reference, I am 5'6 160 lb 36D chest, and the M fit perfectly without being too tight.

The picture looks white, the dress is a pink. Could we give up the sham of these inventive names for colours? It’s not cute. It’s also see through. All around annoyed at this purchase.

I love this dress, I think the fit is great and the look of it is amazing, however I ended up returning it because I don't think its worth the money.

Got this for a wedding and it is so cute! Photographs well, dogs well, not too tight fitting but still shows your shape.

Relaxed curve accenting dress. Fits perfect. Fabric isn’t super soft, more raw silk then fine, but still feels good on the skin. Definitely recommend to a friend

I got this to potential wear under a knit sweater or over a tight-fitting turtleneck for engagement photos (as a skirt kind of) dressed down. This kind of look will be great for work this fall, too!

Also, I love how elegant it is on its own. Perfect for a formal event.

Okay I was skeptical when I ordered this, I didn’t know what to expect, but omg the fabric the fit the look!!!! It’s amazing like amazing. Feels so good and looks so flattering.

I’m 5”3, pear shape, and around 130 pounds. I’ve gained some weight this summer and needed a new dress that didn’t make me need to suck in all night! This was perfect. It highlighted the right features and hung loosely where I needed it to. It was sexy and sophisticated. The midi length was fine on my height. The bitter sage was a beautiful colour! I’ll be wearing this to events and styling it for work as well. It’s a versatile piece!

I love this dress however after only 2 wears where the strap meets the front of dress is coming apart and so it looks like the strap is ready to pop off. So I'd say the material is delicate. A little sew will fix it no problem but just annoying that has happened.

Exactly what I wanted … beautiful color, fits perfectly and good quality fabric, not thin and drapes well. Wore to a wedding and loved my dress:)
