A unique and stylish version of a regular crewneck
I think the negative reviews here are due to Aritzia not putting very accurate pictures or a proper description for this item. It is a "bat-wing", dolman sleeve cropped sweatshirt. Thankfully this is what I was expecting, so I LOVE it. The dolman sleeves attach almost at the bottom of the shirt so gives it a very chic edgy look. Plus keeps it cooler without fabric tucked up in your armpits. But this also means the sweatshirt is not suitable for layering under jackets or vests. Other than the large sleeves, the rest of the sweatshirt is more fitted and the cropped size is "goldilocks" - just right. I'm 5'6" and it hits right at my waist. The fabric is soft and light. A great transitional piece for fall I'll be wearing on repeat with baggy jeans!

Very weird style (bat wings)
I didn't listen to other reviewer and sadly had the same impression of the top, it is a very weird style and the sleeves are attached at the waist so gives a 'bat wing' look and being a cropped top it is a very weird silhouette. I really wanted to love this because online it is a cute style and fabric is nice but just a very weird design. I am usually a S or XS so went with the XS and fits perfectly. Returning

I wanted to like this sweatshirt, as I’m a fan of the terry fleece material but it was big and felt like I was wearing bat wings. Ended up returning.
