allegra poplin dress

This is a really lovely summer dress. The fabric is a substantial cotton, and it's nice that the dress is lined. Fits true to size. Happy with this purchase.

I love the dress but only now because I cut the top part off so it looks and falls different from before. I also noticed it looked very frumpy unless I wore a strapless bra with it. It fits very very large, I got size small and it looks like I got a large. I did get it on a final sale so I modified it and love it now but the dress as is was not flattering.

Nice material but a bit on the large side. I got a medium. I would size down. And can’t exchange it. So 3 stars for that.

If you're looking for a dress that snatches your waist, this ain't it. It's really pretty with a belt though and that's how I will wear it! I put it on initially and was super bummed as it looked so frumpy, but added the belt and it was fiiiire! My waist is 69cm and I purchased a small. There is a heck of a lot of space for someone with a much larger waist or 6-9month baby bump. The neck sits quite high which I like when I want a more conservative look for work. The material is super pretty and the length hits me mid-calf on my 163cm stature. My bust is 91cm and it's fits perfectly up top!

I really like the eyelet fabric on this dress, and love the higher neckline and midi length. I'm 5' 4" and appreciate that this hits at a good place for me vs. a lot of other midi dresses I try on which end up almost ankle length. The adjustable straps are helpful for finding a good fit. That being said, I found that overall this dress fits larger, so I sized down from my usual size.

Be aware the lining is quite a bit shorter than the overall dress, and I found it to ride up from time to time, so just be careful :-)

The fit is true to size, uses quality material and feels so comfortable. Because of my height it is slightly long. The scalloped hem prevents adjusting the length, but it still works out.

I m so upset. This dress is not prewashed / shrunk. It fit a bit on the loose side until I washed it. I followed the washing instructions as per the label and it shrunk. It went from being loose, but nice to being too tight in the bust. It looks and fit terrible now. I hope I can get a refund. I expected better.
