I am 5’9 140 pounds . I purchased the 6 tall and they are not even touching the ground. For the tall these pants should be longer. Material is good but I am very disappointed in the length. Will be returning

I tried the size 6 regular length in store and it was too long for me being a 4’11 gal. The waistline was fine and wasn’t tight at all. I decided to order the short length thinking that it’s a better option for me. But when I tried the short length, the waistline measurement is tight compared to the regular length. I thought the only difference between them is the length of the pants, not the waistline. Aritzia, you should add the exact & true measurements of the item in the item description. And why is the waist measurement different for these pants?
Otherwise, fabric & cut are nice.

The quality of the pants are great! I wish they came in plus size!

I’m 5’11, 150 lb and purchased a 6 Long and 8 in Long. The 6 fit but way too short. The 8 was a bit more relaxed fit and BARELY works with flats for me. Please make an Extra long version for tall girls!

Short length is inconsistent. Sometimes it fits like a regular whereas other times it is a bit short for 5’3

Good quality fabric. Only issue is the waist is too loose to fit perfectly. The pants looked cute but weren’t the most flattering.

Love these. I got a 6 in Long ONLY because I like my pants super long. I’m 135 and 5’7. The quality is durable and the pleat stays which gives it that professional look.

Wish there was more selection in the longer sizes, even with flats on these pants are too short .

The structured fabric in the grey is amazing vs. Crepette for a change. Look fabulous!

I am 5’4” and I tried the regular version in store and it is way too long for me. Then I ordered the short version online thinking there should be no risk at all giving that the short version is advertised as being designed for someone below 5’3”. I was planning to pair these pants with a white sneaker but unfortunately that is not possible as I can’t wear them without a high heel （even with 5cm heels they are still too long…) This is ridiculous as I am not even that short…I can’t imagine someone shorter than me would fit. My suggestion is that if you are under 5’4”, make sure to try them in store for the short version to see if you like the length of these pants. However, ironically, most of the stores do not carry much short version pants so you might not be able to actually try them as I suggested. Aritzia really have to be more considerate of the shorter customers. If you are trying to do the short version, please do it right.

Nice grey tone, very good looking, nice fabric, but the waist was just too small, the fanny was incredibly baggy, and they were much, much too long, even though th size chart told me to order regular length

I have so many colours of this pant, but I find my most recent addition tighter in the crotch area. Its like the length of the high waist to the crotch isn't long enough? It's kind of like a mild wedgie, lol. Wondering if anyone else has this issue with the more recent versions. Aside from that, the colour, the style, the high waist and the length of the pant to the floor is perfection.

I'll start off by saying that these pants feel like great material. However, I found the fit to be really strange- the pleats in the front don't sit flat to the leg. I've seen these look great on many others but they just didn't work for me personally!

I purchased the short length and they are perfect with a flat shoe/sneaker. The quality of the pant is amazing as well. Highly recommend!

The fabric and quality is everything. Love these pants, and I will be buying more in different colors. The fit was perfect, the one caveat is the pants were longer than I expected. I got a 10 short and they fit like a 10 regular. I just folded the bottom of the pants when wearing flats and it looks cute.

I love the overall look of the Effortless pant. The flow and fabric are great. But the front pleats are not well suited for wider hips. I noticed there's a curvy fit available so will be trying those out to compare.

These say regular length fits 5’3 to 5’7. I’m 5’4 amd the crotch is uncomfortably short. The waist and leg length I are perfect so I’m not sure how a taller girl would do in the leg area. I have these in crepe material for a few years back in same size amd they fit perfectly.

This pants is very flattering.
My butt is quite flat but this pants can shape my butt!! I personally don’t like my pants on the floor, so I ordered short version, and it’s the perfect length for me. For reference, I am 5’6 and 114 pounds. I ordered a size 2, fits perfectly.

I have four different pairs of effortless pants now and they are the best overall pant I have. They're great for work, going out for dinner, casual get-togethers, shopping, etc. I quite like the (re)ssential fabric, as it feels more structured. It's quite flattering and easy to tuck anything into without fabric lines showing through.

I was so excited to try these after all of the hype, but returned them. The sizing is off, fabric feels stiff and uncomfortable and I find the fabric is not that breathable which is not a good fit for a day at work.

I own several pairs of effortless pants and needed to size up from an 8 to a 10, but the size 10 fit even smaller than the 8 that I already own.

My other effortless pants (crepette) are size 8, got these in a 10 (re-essential) hoping for more oversized look but the fit is almost identical. The fabric has a bit more structure than crepette. love the heathered grey!

I had Effortless Pants in the same fabrication from last year. They are swimming on me now as my body has changed and so I sized down with this new pair. My size 12 from last year is too big by at least 2 inches so I sized down to a 10 so they still felt roomy but more tailored to me. The size 10’s in this year’s style are too small by about a size. This has happened to me with so many bottoms this year from Aritzia and I am so tired of it. Please scale your sizing consistently to make it easier on your customers.

These pants are really beautiful quality but the sizing is crazy. I had to size up and the regular length is very very long.

I ordered a size up based on a bunch of the reviews and I wish that I hadn’t. I’m usually a size 6 (27 inch waist) and decided to get a size 8 since all the reviews said these pants ran super small. The 8s were waaay too big on me. Def should’ve ordered a size 6, which is my usual size in Aritzia. Otherwise, they’re amazing pants! I love the fabric and style and will definitely be reordering in my normal size.

i ordered the 8 returned and got the 10 because i wanted a roomier pant. They feel really nice, perfect weight fabric, beautifully tailored and flattering

Fits true to size and the colour is perfect!

So versatile, dress up or dress down. Multiple materials and length to pick from. You CANNOT go wrong with these pants. They are perfect in every way. My favorite is the Crepette but I also love the Linen. Couldn’t recommend a higher quality pair of pants!

These pants are falsely advertised .
1. They are way to long, they are the length of the regular ones
2. They fit bigger then the regular length pants

I got these pants for a work event and wow are they extremely small. I’m typically a size 12 in jeans and I had to get a size 16 in these just for the waist to fit. I now have to get the legs altered. If I didn’t have to for work, I would NOT recommend these to anyone with an “apple shaped” body. Aritzia seems to still only cater to the “young & skinny” crowd. Ridiculous to have to buy almost 3 sizes bigger to fit lol.

Bought the ReEssential fabric. Had to size up (6). I’m 5’7 129lbs. The (4) was too short in the crotch. The fabric is hefty. Doesn’t look wrinkly. Have not worn them out yet but I’m happy with purchase so far.

In every brand I buy I’m either a size 2 or 4. I am 5’6” 125 lbs and while I could get the size 4 to button and it looked ok, it just was not comfortable. Way too tight. I sized up to a 6 and it worked great. Also my body shape is slim with a flat stomach for reference.

The fit was fine, the fabric was see-through at the back as the colour was in “Light Birch.” I’ve had friends who purchased the same pair years ago tell me their pants were not see-through, so I’m wondering if there was a change in the quality of the fabric overtime to become cheaper and not as high quality.

I was hesitant to buy online as I was torn between long/tall length vs regular length, I’m 5’7/5’8 and so was right on the sizing threshold. I ordered the long/tall size and they fit perfectly with a mid height heel. If you are on the fence hopefully this helps!

Good quality pants, fabric is soft and it has good flow

The pants fit and look great but be wary of buying online, quality control is awful, on my 2nd wear there's a tear in the pants pocket.

Does not fit the same at all as the older version of the Wilfred effortless pant. Brown colour is not great. I'm a size 6 in the black pants, and was wondering if maybe they had just stretched, as the fit was completely different with the brown Aritzia effortless pant. They fit much smaller (and shorter).

Second pair of effortless pant I have owned and already loosing the stitching in the hem. They fall out every time and just after a few washes this time. I love these pants but wish they would make the invisible hem seam sturdier!
