The SuperSnug Puff™ Long

I was SO excited for this jacket with its slimmer fit - I've had a super puff for years and have been obsessed with that. I've only washed it once per winter season, and it never held any bad smells or sweat. I am not a sweaty person at all, never have been, and I barely sweat.

However, every time I wear this jacket it is absolutely RANK. It smells disgusting and after each wear I am like a walking BO beacon. I've never experienced this before ever in my life with any other piece of clothing, jacket, shirt, whatever, so I have NO idea what the deal is with this fabric that makes it like this. Really disappointed as it is not practical to put a winter jacket in the washing machine after each and every single wear. I wish I could return it.

I’ve always wanted to like the Superpuff but have never been a fan of the “sleeping bag” style jacket. I have a lanky long torso and arms and like something with a bit more shape. This jacket can be dressed up or down and the shape is just so flattering! I found the jacket TTS in comparison to other Aritzia jackets- you just have to remember the shape is snugger. I’m 5’ 7” and 120lbs with a 25” waist and the 2XS fit like a glove with room for a thicker layer underneath.

I am an XS in the original Super Puff. 5'2", 120 lbs and 34C. I took the size test and it overwhelmingly recommended an XS. It was way too tight on the shoulders and the chest. Overall the quality feels great and it feels warm. I will have to return this though.

Fabric quality was great but did not like the fit at all. Fits slightly smaller in my opinion.

Let me start off by saying I love this coat for many reasons… It's warm, has a flattering shape because of the snug style and doesn't weight you down.
Now, I will suggest that Aritizia take the opportunity to upgrade their down coats with a better outer shell. Honestly, the fabric of this one just looks a bit cheap and even the matte look is too shiny. The fabric causes a lot of static with longer hair and shows every little mark. Something more textured and truly matte would give it an more upscale look, like a Canada Goose or higher end coat. Considering all of the colours available, I am surprised that they have never offered a superpuff in an upgraded fabric option. With that, I would recommend some more subtle branding so it doesn't look like every other superpuff that is sold by the thousands across Canada. I would happily pay a couple of hundred dollars more for a more sophisticated overall look with a richer looking fabric and less obvious branding, like what you would find with a Canada Goose black label.
Side vents with snaps that can be opened or snapped closed would make it easier for walking around and stairs without having to unzip the coat from the bottom.
All in all, a very cozy coat.

This jacket is the perfect fit. It snatches you in at the waist and the fit is spot on. I’m a small and I purchased the small, it’s true to size.

I love everything about this jacket!

I was worried it would be too small from the reviews but it’s perfect with a little room for a bulkier sweater. I wanted a more elegant puffy and this is it. I’m normally a size medium in most aritzia clothing however I am a small in the regular style puffy. I decided to get the small in this style and I’m very happy with the size.

It's so cozy and warm. It also looks chic! My sister loves it too, but she wishes it would come in petite.

Basically snug to your hips. Really classy and also just a great jacket for work or for pleasure. 10/10 I got a size smaller and it fits nice and snug with. Thick sweater underneath

Looks super flattering!!

I love this coat, it’s super cute, seems to be well made. But despite me spending a ton of time going through the size guide an all the available reviews to choose the best size, it still arrived and is a bit too snug, primarily in the chest. For reference, I chose a small. I am petite and Small is my Normal size. My chest is 36B with a warm sweater underneath it’s snug. A bit snugger than I’d like. Currently the coat is sitting with the tags on because the Medium is sold out and I cannot decide whether to return or wait or what. I know the silhouette is intended to be “snug” (hence the name) but if you want a little wiggle (or breathing) room, I’d suggest sizing up.

I ordered a M so big sweaters would fit under. Nice coat. Only change I wish it had zippers or buttons on side to open when driving etc instead of having to unzip coat.

Buy it. I have not stopped talking about how good it looks!! I’m 5’1 and got the long and it’s just the right length. When you zip it up it snatches your waist and gives you a figure

It is a little tight and next time I think for my layering i will be getting a xxs. As I do like layering much more!

This jacket is exactly what I have been looking for. Ordered the medium and its such a difference compared to the original. Warm, comfortable and shapes very well. I tried it on with a thick sweater and its not too tight at all! It doesn't have the side buttons on the bottom half but I'm okay with it. For reference, I'm typically 155 pounds and 5'5.

I love it! The length is perfect for me.

Alright so we all know here that Aritzia’s puffer fit large, right? My usual size for clothing is XS, 0, and 24 or 25 depending on the brand, 23 if it sizes large. The Snug Puffer is indeed a slim fit puffer, but for it to look slim on me, I took a 3XS and it looks great on me. Whatever your height, if you’re an XS and hate that extra puffy for no reason look, go for a 2XS, you will still have a little room for a sweater underneath. I took the modern taupe color, it’s beautiful. I’m considering buying other colors. It’s a great coat of you don’t want to always have a fury hood, when it’s cold outside but not snowy. I like to west it for a laid back look, but still looking out together and presentable, with no fuss like a Rudsak coat, for example. I guess I can I’m official a puffer girly now?

I have the OG long super puff but was hoping this snug version might be a bit more flattering. I have the large in the OG and ordered the XL in the snug. I'm 5'6 and a size 14 on bottom but smaller on top. The fit as far as shoulders and hips is almost the same. It does look more flattering and slightly less bulky. I was hoping for a tiny bit more room in the hips with sizing up but that didn't happen. I didn't notice when ordering that it does not have any side snaps and the zipper goes all the way to the bottom of the coat. The sleeves are also a bit longer and there are no snaps. Not deal breakers, I just didn't notice. If the hips had a tiny bit more room I'd be keeping this one.

I was a little worried about ordering this because there weren’t any reviews but I’m so glad I did! I had the Super Puff Shorty (Size M) and didn’t know what size to get this one in cause it stated that it was more fitted, so I ordered an XL but I think I could’ve gotten away with a L. I decided to keep it so I feel more comfortable walking (while it’s zipped up) and can add layers if needed.

At first I had ordered a size small in the original Super Puff-long which was waaaaay too puffy and not fitted. This jacket is the perfect mix of puffy and fitted giving you a waist. (Which is great if you’re on the shorter side, which I am)! Also very warm, covers my legs which helps a lot. Overall, highly recommend!!

I purchased this puffer in black in a size medium. For reference I am 5’9, 155lbs, 37-29-43 are my chest, waist, and hip measurements in inches. I have the original super puff in a size medium and this puffer in a size medium fits perfectly. I tried it on with three of my thickest knit sweaters and I am still able to move freely. Due to the more tailored fit of this puffer, I will most likely only wear fitted sweaters with this coat and save the thick sweaters for my original super puff since this coat obviously looks more bulky with bulk under it, but layers fit under this coat fine. I’ve seen reviews on the cinch waist version of this coat that stated that coat doesn’t have a hood; this one does; however, there aren’t any zippers or buttons along the sides on the lower half. I am 5’9 with a long stride and have had zero issues walking in this coat, but that is something to keep in mind if the buttons and zippers on the bottom matter to you. Overall, this coat is great. It has all the warmth benefits of the OG super puff without looking like a marshmallow. I’m super happy with this order.
