I think I would have liked this coat better if it wasn't so oversized. I usually wear a large so I bought a medium so that I could layer underneath as per other reviews. It's huge! I have a good 6-8 inches between my waist and the zipper and I look ridiculous. I would buy the small but it feels a bit cheaply made so I might just get the original super puff. It's very lightweight though!
Very warm. It does fit on the larger side but some of the reviews are dramatic. I sized down to an xs and its perfectly fine (im usually a small, 120lbs 5’4). It just covers my butt and has been overall really warm and comfortable. It is super lightweight. I also like how the collar seems to fit more snug when done up compared to the regular puff and there are no gaps where air can get in. The smoked eggplant is really pretty.
As one other person said, this coat is very very large. It does not fit like the other Super Puff coats. Size small was like a L or XL. Choose another coat or order at least two sizes smaller than usual.
After trying one in store, I bought it immediately. It's my favorite jacket now after wearing for a few weeks. It's super light and soft, feels like wearing a fluffy pillow. The 1000 fill allows it to be warmer than the regular super puffs I have at a lighter weight and its packable with the included stuffsack. I wore it in light rain and the water beaded off. I think this feels less than half the weight of my regular super puffs. At the current sale price, this is a bargain. Where else can you find high quality 1000down fill for this price not to mention one that looks good? I ended up buying all the colors except the green one (sorry) lol
You can size down at least 2 sizes in this jacket and you'll still look like the Michelin Man. While it is lighter than the original super puff, it also feels less sturdy because the outer shell is very soft. It's not worth the extra money, just get the original or waterproof versions. This is an easy pass for me.
I bought it bc I loved the way it looked in the pictures and the pictures are super accurate. But the material is completely different from what I thought it was going to be. It's not sturdy like the other superpuffs and instead is very flimsy, even though it looks so deceptively big and puffy. Returning it as it's not worth the price.
I ordered smockey eggplant color and it's better in person so I am very happy. As described it's super light and keeps you so warm. It is quite large so I went 2 sizes down. Definitely recommend it. An awsome superpuff!!
