Overall 4.5 rating - just shy of being the perfect jacket. I just returned from a week in Iceland in winter weather (January). I debated between packing two different jackets for the trip and settled on taking this one. It was the best decision. The jacket is warm (the elasticized cuffs really helped keep the jacket sealed), it's ACTUALLY wind proof, and it held up in the rain (I was caught in the rain for 45 minutes and it did not seep through to the underlayer). What sold this jacket to me is the length and that it has a belt. The fact that it covers the hips is great for warmth and the ability to cinch it at the waist also helps keep the warmth close to the body. I also prefer the look of the silhouette with the belt. I have a long parka that could get me through an arctic expedition if needed, but this jacket gives you the mobility that a longer one doesn't - it's easier to be active in this length, more convenient to wear when getting in and out of cars, and easier to carry if you're in an over heated bus or train. You might be wondering why I'm not giving it a 5 star rating... the hood. There is something about the construction that makes the hood a little too snug. You can lift the hood up over your head if you aren't wearing a hat or are only wearing a headband and it will stay in place where you need it. But if you pull it up over a hat (even one without a pompom), it sits too high, just on top of the head and doesn't offer the same kind of wind protection you would want when using the hood (no matter how I adjusted it). I feel like there's an inch of material that's missing in the hood construction. As for the size, I'm 5'5" and 115lbs, I typically wear a size Small but had to exchange for the XS as I was swimming in the S.

Wore it to walk my dog in a literal windy torrential downpour mid-Winter. Minus a star only because every time I zip it up it seems to snag on the inner lining. I'm inbetween S and M and S fits well.

I’m shorter so I thought a puffer with a belt would be flattering on me and it IS. This is the warmest jacket ever as well, even the pockets always feel warm. By far the best jacket I’ve ever owned

I used the size chart but it’s to big I should have sized down not happy with the jacket

The shape from the back is not nice because of the belt. Returned it.

More color choices. Pls make different colors -like blue color
