Too short in the arms and did not fit well. Ordered a size 1. Returned

I bought a size 1 for friend who is 5'4" and slim. It fits very well. Nice design and color.

I have had this coat for 2 years now and I can't say enough good! But - watch what material you buy. This one is the 100% camel hair & I cannot rave enough about how lux it feels and looks. After two years of frequent wear, it looks good as new.
I live in Northern Canada and find this coat to be true to its -20 warmth rating.

I was very excited to purchase this coat especially to find it on sale. I ordered it online and as soon as I opened the box I was immediately disappointed. This jacket is so thin and the quality isn’t there. I’m shocked this jacket is listed at $400…. I paid $200 but the quality is at a $80 jacket I could purchase from Garage or Old Navy. This jacket will not keep you warm at -2 never mind -20. There is also 0 shape to it and fits terrible.
I’m 5’8, 140 lbs and I ordered a M which was sooooo big even thought it’s my usual size. I understand it is oversize and am fine with the “oversized” look, but it looks terrible. I have many jackets from Aritzia and love them, but this jacket is nothing but cheap disappointment. Save your money

Purchased a tall size and it was not tall at all. Length of the coat seemed longer, but arm length was a joke.

This is such an amazing wool coat, well worth!

I’m 5’3”, 120lbs , athletic build , I ordered size 1. Was worried that being shorter this coat would look frumpy. It fits absolutely perfect on my smaller , boxy frame. Super comfortable with enough room to wear bulky sweater. My other coats from Aritzia are XS. Colour as pictured , nice quality.

I’m always cold and this coat is literally so so warm!!! And it also goes with everything! So easy to dress up or down

I really wanted to love this coat. I ordered size 2 after trying on in-store in the deep camel colour and found it fit quite big and flared out oddly at the bottom. It looked too big on me and didn't feel or fit like a $400 coat in my opinion. I don't think sizing down would help either because then the buttons would look strained and I wouldn't be able to fit layers. I found it also to be very long on me in the regular size. Maybe a different size and length would help, but I'm not confident just because of the coat's shape. It's not worth the price in my opinion and I will be returning it unfortunately! I'm 5ft 6in and about 137 pounds, I normally wear a size S or XS.

I was so excited when I received this coat a few months ago. I wore it for the first time to a work event last month. When I got home, I noticed damages on one of the sleeves. It looks like there was a hole and it was stitched with white thread so it’s very noticeable. I’m devastated because it’s only going to get worse and it’s too late to return.

This jacket runs a bit larger than your normal size. The coat is a bit thin for a coat marketed for below freezing temp. My biggest negative is that there are no pockets.
There is a fake pocket, but cutting it open just leaves a hole into the satin and no pocket. Would not recommend for the price.

I am 5'4, 120 lbs, 35-25-35 measurements. I purchased the Dark FireFox Brown slouch coat in Tall, Size 1 because of the sale and it's the BEST purchase I've made! It fits perfectly. Sleeves hit me mid-palm, which hits me at the wrist when I bend my elbow (~21 inches from shoulder to sleeve). Length hits me mid-calf (~42 inches from shoulder to bottom). The colour is close to the photos - a dark chocolate with a very slight red hue. SO GORGEOUS! Material listed on the tag is different from the product description but for the better - 83% camel wool, 8% wool, 9% nylon. Definitely an older version. Absolutely recommend especially with the $120 discount right now!

im petite 5:03ft but xxs still huge.

I bought the Tall coco sand size 2 last year and the material was much thicker than the burnt cedar color that I received today. Also I noticed the sleeve length in Tall burnt cedar size 1 is much shorter than the coco sand in Tall. The online concierge measured theTall size 1 for me and the one I received was 3 inches shorter. The item number also matches the Tall size. When I buttoned up the coat the sleeve length hit 2 inches above my wrist bone, the model with the Tall burnt cedar on is taller than I am and the sleeve fits longer than I am which does not make sense. The color of the burnt cedar is also different, the one she is wearing is much richer while the one that I received was lighter and thinner material than the one she is wearing.
I am so disappointed with the quality of the material, the coat that I recieved was wrinkly, thin, no difference with the $50 polyster coat. It looks very cheap on the body. Nothing like the coco sand one that I bought last year. I saw some reviews mentioned that the new slouch coat (with sizing XS, S....)has poor quality that is why I ordered the old 1, 2,3. But I believed there are the good quality mixing with the newer bad quality in the old sizing 1,2,3 and it depends on the colors and the batch that you received.
My advice is to order it at full price a week before the annual sale happens. If you are happy with it order it again with the sale price and keep the good quality one and return the bad one in case you recieve the bad batch.

I love the coat so far, it fits so well and is so wam! I wore it in -15 degree weather and wasn’t cold. Also love that I can button up to my neck for extra warmth.

I absolutely adore this coat! I ordered it to wear this winter in Italy in the mountains. It was pretty warm while I was there, around 25-40 degrees Fahrenheit but I was super warm. The coat fits perfectly and is great quality and I'm so excited to keep wearing it! For reference, I am 5'6" and about 120 and I got a size 1 and regular length and its perfect!

I’ve wanted this jacket for two years and finally pulled the trigger. It is SO good. Heavier material, perfectly oversized. Debating getting in another color.

Truly love this coat! It keeps me warm & the length is perfect! Not too long not too short. The fit is great as well without it looking baggy. It did come with a seam that was not completely sewn up properly by the shoulder/collar area though…. But overall amazing!

I usually wear a size medium but for this one I ordered a small and it fit perfectly. I’m 115 lbs and 5.2. The material is great and makes u feel warm, very good for Canadian cold weather.

I ordered the coat in a size 1 and 2. I’m 5 3” and depending on how much pizza I eat I’m between 125-127. I would say the size 2 was just too overwhelming on my frame and the 1 fit better. Now these coats are narrow around the hips, and I’m pear shaped so the 1 is a tad bit snug. Love the quality and look of the coat, I ordered the deep brown and I can tell if I layer I’ll be super warm.

The material felt very substantial. Quality felt nice. However there was too much fabric in the back - specially upper back, which prevented the coat from hanging nicely, esp with any sort of arm/upper body movements. It made me look extra bulky and broad shouldered… Sadly returned.

Returned. I have a steadman from last year, beautiful fabric so warm. This years steadman is cheap materials and not warm at all. The coat itself looked like my zara coat. Really disappointed because i would have bought the old steadman in many colours but i wont waste my money on these cheap fabric ones

I got this coat last night and once I got home I tried it on, noticed a whole in the armpit that looked like just the stitches got undone at some point. I’m gonna return it, but I didn’t expect that for a 500$ coat. I’m not gonna get it again as it might happen with my new coat. So sad it turned out such a bad quality. I really liked it

Amazing amazing coat! Warm yet not super heavy feeling! Only downside if you are tall like me is that the sleeves are a bit short... if I wear a bulky sweater it sticks out the sleeves of the coat. But overall stunning and very fashionable!

Cozy and layerable! Deep pockets and the inner pocket is a nice touch! Ordered in short and it hits just below the knees for me (4’11”)

I’m 6’ and the sleeves of the long version were still way too short. My arms are long but not crazy long. The jacket was nice and the material felt good but the fit was not for anyone over 5’10” I’d say.

Size and fit is great but disappointed in materials blend. Why are all the slouch coats predominantly camel hair now?!?! Aritzia please bring back the heavier/warmer slouch--- this was the one I was hoping for.

Ordered a size 2 which is my size in pants and top. I went of what peoples reviews for sizing but for me it was way off. It was massive.
Also so confusing as there’s a Slouch coat and then a New slouch coat and the sizes for both are completely different.
This is so damn annoying on the Aritzia site.
So I ordered the “New slouch coat”
And I ordered the 2xs this time, which I did go and try in store to make sure.
So just waiting for it to be delivered now.

I was so disappointed- ordered this jacket online, and when it came it was all wrinkled and was made from very cheap looking and light material. It wasn’t up to the stand I expect from Babaton. It was also significantly longer than expected. Basically, it was an immediate return for me.

I absolutely love this coat. It's slightly oversized which is great because it fits over chunky sweaters. I'm 5'8" and got the tall length and it's PERFECT. It's so cozy and toasty warm, great for fall/winter and perfect for casual everyday wear, workwear or dressing up. I want it in every color!!

I have been looking for a coat that can work for both my active wear (think sweat suits and chunky sneakers) and fancy style. This coat is perfect for both! I love this coat and it is 100% work the price. I’m 5’6 and this hits about mid calf for me if anyone is looking for a similar reference! I got the size 2 and it is perfectly slouchy

La coupe est très jolie et les lignes sont nettes. Mais le poil de chameau donne un effet que je n'ai pas aimé, comme une apparence un peu négligée et légèrement froissée... Je préfère les manteaux en mélange de laines uniquement.

This coat is absolute perfection. If you're wanting the Max Mara 101801/Madame Coat, but the price tag is just a little too high, look no further than this almost identical dupe for a much friendlier price. This is definitely my "forever" winter coat. Went with the Burnt Cedar in the size 2. The website recommended the size 3, but I didn't want to be completely swallowed up. Size 2 is perfect for my 5'4" curvy frame. Very pleased with my purchase and it was absolutely worth every penny.

I bought this back in January In the light grey color, the sales associate convinced me to try it on and I’m so glad I did. This coat is so beautiful, well made and warm but also perfect for layering. The sleeves are a little long on me but it’s okay, and the length is up to my shins. I get compliments almost every time I wear it, I might get it in another color.

LOVE this coat. Excellent quality, and warm. Biggest draw for me was the Petite length option - I’m 5’1, so I ordered the Petite Size 1 and it was the perfect fit. No hem or sleeve shortening was necessary. Plus, it was still slouchy enough that I could wear it comfortably over my TNA sweatsuit.

The perfect loose Oversize fit, and a truly gorgeous color too. I got the deep camel and I do not regret it at all! Just wish I pulled the trigger and got the black one too! I wanted it extra long as well so even though I’m only 5’4, I went ahead and ordered the Tall to achieve the look I wanted. It did not disappoint!!

I have several wool jackets from Arizoa, this one is my fave. Love the cut, medium brown color and overall classy look.

This is THE coat I never knew I always needed. I have other wool blend coats but this one fits perfectly in size 2 for my 5 foot 4 height - no need to shorten the sleeves and it is surprisingly lightweight for its warmth. And it is warm - I live in canada and it stands up on a subzero day. The only drawback is I would like a vent at the back and a touch more room at the hips and rear to layer longer sweaters. I am 142 lbs and muscular build. Size 3 would have been massive but this size for me is perfect to throw on over mostly anything and look totally put together.

It's the perfect length, I'm 5'7. I purchased size 2 and its the right amount of slouch for me. I can swear thick sweaters and even a crossbody inside the jacket without feeling overwhelmed by the coat. I fit SM, but opt for larger fit. The color is also phenomenal and it's really soft. It looks luxurious.

I am only 5’0” tall and I typically am not able to find a coat that fits perfectly without taking it to a tailor to get the sleeves and the overall length shortened. Not so with the slouch!! I purchased a size 1 short and the fit is perfection. The coat is also warm but not heavy. Looks great with casual and dressy outfits. Definitely a staple in my closet! Pricey but I feel like it is worth it.

I get the whole over sized thing. I do. I even like it but this jacket it waaaaaay over sized. You know those people in Central Park that wear massive trench coats lined with watches to sell…? Yeah, you look like one of them in the jacket.

I've had my coat for less than two months and the stitching has come undone in the armpit, leaving a large and noticeable hole which is only going to get worse. I'm at a literal loss as to what to do. It was an extremely expensive purchase for me and my return window has closed.
