I am 4'10/96lbs/34-23-32 and I got the short version in XXS.
I am amazed at how well it sits on my small frame! The sleeves are the perfect length, and I still have space to put a hoodie or a blazer underneath. If the short version was available in XXXS it would have been more snug but oh well! Very satisfied overall.

The coziness most flattering jacket ever. You could dress it up or down. I have it in three colours.

I'm 5'4 between a size 2/4 and this is the perfect coat for chicago for going out. It's so warm. I got the xs to wear layers underneath.

Unfortunately I had to return it because the quality and fit are not the same as the previous slouch. The new one fits boxier not flattering at all compared with my old one. The quality is different too, it feels much thinner than the previous version. This coat should be sold for not more than 200$!

This coat is AWESOME! I have gotten compliments from men and women. Love the oversized but not sloppy fit and the color is camel perfection!! I am 5'4" and weigh 150lbs. Curvy

I was fussing over this jacket for a LONG time before I saw the Black Friday deal and decided to go for it. Initial thoughts - the camel hair makes the jacket SO SOFT (!!!!) which no one seems to mention in the reviews!! I am a consistent size 4 or small but went with the size recommendation of XS, and glad I did. The XS is roomy but tailored and the sleeves fall to a really good length just below the wrist bone. The burnt cedar color looks old money and is a little more exciting than the black or camel in my opinion.

Love the style and fit. Slightly oversized but that is the style. I just do not love the (re) camel wool as I found it very itchy on my neck. Going to try again in the wool/cashmere blend instead!

Beautiful color, warm and slouchy indeed but without that strict soldiery look. It is elegant enough but not too polished which means that it can serve well very relaxed and very polished style without looking out of place. It fits slightly bigger (I even sized up ) which I really like on a winter coat because it makes it fall well behind without wrinkling around booty when you wear chunky layers. Iit also fits longer in the sleeves witch is also my preference.

Unlike many winter coats that are open in front - this one you can actually wear buttoned up all the way in case it is really cold. Roomy fit fits great over boobs when buttoned up even with chunkier knit on without wrinkling anywhere.

However, it did come stained and with a heavy perfume on it! It seems someone wore it for a while since perfume got deep into it. Two staines are small but visible which is absolutely unacceptable ! They should sell this as already used and for half a price and then maybe it would be ok - but not as new !
When I showed stains to my husband who usually does no really see those kinds of things he noticed them right away and adde d "it also looks worn out ... good coat material should not look that way even years after". And he is right.
Material seems to wear out quickly ... or maybe that person who stained the coat tried to clean the stains so it is worn out on that spot. All in all this is not acceptable I feel like I bought something second handed (the perfume, the stain and all ). Really disappointing.

I've been on the hunt for a long wool coat for 2 years and I think this is the one. The key detail is no shoulder seam, which makes this coat look effortless (seamed shoulders always look too broad and bulky; overly masculine for my frame). This coat runs large. I'm 5'1", 147lbs and the size small short is still a roomy fit with a big sweater underneath. Length hits about mid/upper shin. It's heavy and soft, but does not look sloppy. I only wish this style was available with a single button or single row of buttons, the double breasted style is warmer, but its less flattering on me.

I love the style, the warmth and the color of the coat I got(Burnt Cedar). This is the 2nd coat I got from Babaton.

It feels like cheap quality + not worth the price

I have a slouch coat that was purchased a few years back and the fit is just not the same anymore with the new version. My slouch coat from a few years back is a size small. When I purchased the medium recently, the arms were sooo tight and did not have the same “oversized” and relaxed feel as the old slouch coat. The older version is the perfect oversized fit, even in a small. Strange how the medium is now smaller than the previous version. Very unfortunate as the older version is my favourite wool coat and fits perfectly oversized!

It’s warm and I love the slouch fitting. I’m usually between S or M, but ended to get the XXS in regular length. I wanted to have the under knee length and dropped shoulder and this was the one. Even with the xxs, I still have rooms to wear thick sweaters for arm area.

Love this coat! I’m about 5’1”, 100lbs and I got a size XXS in the short length. It’s quite roomy but doesn’t overwhelm my frame. This is a classic black coat that is well worth the investment.

I absolutely love this coat! Core item to have in your wardrobe. It’s very versatile so you can wear it formally and casually. It’s very comfortable as well. A classic “oversized” coat that you don’t get lost in. 10/10 can’t wait to get more colours! I usually wear a small or medium in some items but I got an XS in the coat. I feel that the length is really nice as well, not too long but not cropped either

I actually love the fit of slouch coat and I think that it that it has the best “oversized” fit for all Aritzia coats. I bought a lot of wool coats and slouch was the best for me. It has been my go-to coat whether it’s just casual or out for an event.
I have an inverted triangle body type and quite have some weight on me plus I’m short so it’s so hard to find “oversized” fit that wont look weird or bad on me.
I have S regular from 2023 and sooo love it. Indecided to size up so I recently bought the the 2024 version M regular and the fit on the arms felt like as of the stedman 🙁 overall doesn’ have that “slouch” anymore.
So funny that my S feels roomier than M.

Love the fit of this coat! It's slightly slouchy, but doesn't look like it's swallowing me. I'm 5'0 and 105lbs. I got the xxs in the short length. I still have room to wear layers under the coat so it's perfect for colder weather.

Really love the fit of this coat. I’ve been looking for something like this for awhile now. Only thing is that I wish it was a bit longer lengthwise. I ordered a Tall and it fit just slightly to my shin (I’m 5’9 for reference)

I initially bought a Small in short length, but at 5’1" and 130 lbs, the coat felt too big on me. It looked like it was swallowing me. I went to the store to try on an XS in regular length, and it fit much better. I exchanged it for the XS in short length and it’s a much better fit.

All the reviews said to size down so I did-- ended up not getting the "slouch" effect I wanted. So, exchanging for a bigger size. Overall it's a great jacket. The regular length may be a little long for me so I might have it shortened a bit, but I'm excited to try the next size up for an upcoming trip!

Great staple in your closet! I usually prefer an oversized fit. I sized down for this piece.

I love love love love LOVE my slouch coat! i 'm 1.77m and got the Large in Tall and it is a bit too big, but I did not want my coat to have short sleeves. I absolutely recommend it.

I absolutely love this coat. It is so sleek and sophisticated but yet can be dressed down with jeans and runners. Winner in my closet! I ordered the tall version so it was a little more length to my ankle and I am glad I did. It is a little oversized, I could have fit xs or even xxs for a more fitted look, but I bought my regular small.

This coat feels luxurious and amazing to wear. I’ve had mine for several months. No pilling. I am 5ft it hits my mid calf. But doesn’t look sloppy big. It’s the perfect oversized fit. The arms are the perfect size and length. I can easily wear a hoodie underneath and still be comfortable.

I order the slouch coat first in a S and then exchanged it for an XS. I am 5ft, 135lbs, 36DDD, so finding clothes and coats is really tough for me. The slouch coat hits all the high notes. Perfect overall length and sleeve length. You might just need to order a few different sizes and see what works best! It’s also super warm - even in Chicago! Totally recommend!

I’m 5’6” I ordered a tall & love the length!! Usually a medium at aritzia, sized down to a small. Still really oversized, but I think it’s perfect.

If you’re thinking about getting this just do it. I wear this coat every day and it’s so warm and chic. The regular small was out of stock so I got a tall extra small and it fits great. (I’m usually a size small for aritzia tops and a medium for pants and dresses.)

Bring in more Camel Hair Coats! The Camel Hair coat is the softest feeling coat you sell, along with the outstanding feature of camel hair being that it is also the warmest coat you sell (rated for -20C warmth) - but the very BEST feature of the camel hair coat is that it feels so lightweight when you wear it - rather than feeling like you are carrying a heavy weight on your shoulders (the way that other wool coats feel). This coat feels so wonderfully lightweight to wear - but step outside in bitter cold winter weather and you won't feel the cold at all. Yet enter into a store from the cold, and the coat "breathes" so you then also do not feel overheated while wearing it shopping. I normally wear a M to a L (depending on item and brand) but in coats more often a L. Tried on the L in this coat - but it felt too big for my frame. So I bought the M coat and it being just slightly oversized is a really nice fit because your movements do not feel restricted in the coat - and its large enough to feel like you are being wrapped in a super warm blanket. Yet wearing it unbuttoned (or buttoned) still looks very sleek and stylish. The coat is a really a great fit (without appearing in any way too large but also not in any way too tight). The length is perfect (I am 5'5") and coat reaches top of my calf. The color Burnt Cedar (a rich deep dark chocolate brown) looks particularly stunning (especially paired with a scarf in a soft shade of dusty light pink) and a pair of brown ankle boots. I literally never leave the house wearing this coat that I do not receive compliments on it. It looks equally beautiful when "dressed down" when wearing jeans and ankle boots as it does when I am "dressed up" or wearing a dress with shoes or higher boots. And I find that despite owning several very nice winter coats, that I now reach only for this one - because nothing else I own compares to the comfort, warmth, fit, weight, style and color of this wonderful coat. It's 100% a winner and I am very happy that I purchased it!

Originally ordered this coat in a long Large. It came and was too big so I had to do an exchange online for a long medium. It’s arrived and I’m in love! Definitely recommend going with the long if you’re worried about the length of the sleeves and are a tall girly! Highly recommend this coat:) it’ll last me a lifetime!!!

I have spent all winter looking for a great navy wool coat and can confirm that I found it. The slouch coat it's absolutely worth the hype and investment.

I'm usually an XS/S top and a 26 in jeans. I like my jackets to be more oversized to accommodate winter layers, so I ordered a small size in the regular length. It's perfect. It's a little longer on me than it appeared to be on the model (I'm 5'6, and it hit mid-calf), but that length is what I wanted and expected. The coat is so soft and feels like high-quality wool—time will tell, but I hope this coat lasts for many winters.

I bought the stedman coat before but it’a too tight on my arms (I do have big arms 😅). I could only wear the coat when I use formal/semi formal clothes. Couldnt wear thick or semi thick tops. But with the slouch coat, I had no problem! I even wear it almost everyday! Whether I’m on casual clothes or dressed up! It’s reeeeally warm too! I even wear it on cold days while walking my fur baby.
I’m actually 5” and took the regular length. I’m actually a bit fat so wearing the short kinda emphasizes my built. With the regular length, it kinda makes me look tall.
I’m medium on most coats but small fits perfect and even has some space and isnt tight on the arms! Size down and uf you want a skinny fit size down 2-3 sizes.

I purchased this coat for a trip to Europe with temps between 25-35 degrees while traveling between 4 different countries. Not only is it a fantastic quality but it kept me warm ( & dry) and was incredibly easy to move in. I brought a few different coats with me, this being the more stylish of the bunch, and felt it was by far the most comfortable for longer wear… we’re talking 10 miles of walking outside & inside in 35 degrees. For reference I am 5’2, 125 lbs, and built like a gymnast. The cut of this coat is perfect for us short girlies!

Finally pulled the trigger after years of eyeing this coat. What made me pull the trigger is the petite size offering. The coat length and the sleeves fit perfectly for my 5’0 frame - coat still looks oversized and proportional to my height without overwhelming my body. The regular size was just a tad too long in the sleeves and the length of the coat for my torso. The stitching and the wool % and quality is also top notch. Overall, great winter classic wool coat.

I truly love the slouch coat in herringbone. I took it with me during my trip to Iceland and it kept me quite warm. I do recommend to size down for the perfect oversized fit!

I love the coat, but would have preferred a smaller size. I’m 5ft nothing and ordered an XS, short. The length on the arms and legs is perfect. It is so warm and I love stitching. But yes it’s oversized so order a size down.

I’ve had this coat for a few weeks now and I love it! I can wear it during 30°F weather without layering closthes just a shirt and jeans and it keeps me warm. It’s made really well. I love the brown color. Love the deep pockets. I could have sized down to a XS but if I want to wear chunky sweaters underneath a S works best! I see why this is a top seller.

I own the slouch mid coat in black and now bought the camel longer length in a size small short. It’s a classic style and color perfect over jeans or a dress. The quality is great and has room for layering. Most importantly, it fits my 5ft frame without overwhelming me.

I’m going to talk about the fit as I was thinking about which size to get for a very long time. I bought the small one in the tall as I wanted it to be longer and it is perfect. The size guide suggested to but the size M but I’m glad I didn’t as even the S is a bit oversized which I really like. I am 5’7 and my hip is 40.

A perfect lightweight trench that can be dressed up or down.

I’m 5’3 roughly a medium size 6-8 American size, definitely an OVERSIZED fit. A short Medium was too big on me! But quickly exchanged it for a Short Small and it has been so soft and stylish! A bit long still but it’s like a bit below the knee. Definitely keeps me warm in the cold NYC weather!

This coat is warm and chic, I love the slouch look of it. I ordered the short version and people think I had it tailored to fit me so well! It’s perfect.
