the melina™ pant

Fit is inaccurate even when you size up. What a waste because of the final sale policy.

I ordered a size 10 Tall, I’m 5”10 and the length was still short. On top of that the legs fit great but the waist has a huge gap in the back and I tried to make it work but as soon as I sit down you can see my underwear because of the gap.

I already own these pants in other colours. Normally I fit a 00, this 00 fit extremely small and the seam was crooked along the zipper and back.

They fit everywhere super well except the waist is massive compared to how the rest of the pants fit. Have to get them altered if I want to wear them at all.

I'm a bit torn. After going through reviews where most advised sizing up, I opted for a 6, but it turned out too loose. My usual Size 4 would've been better; waist measures 26, hips 40. Regretfully, can't exchange these sale items. :(

i am 5”2 and got the short pants for people under 5”3 and they were SO short. i then got the regular length and they were almost past my toes. i think you should add another length

Very flattering and comfortable pants. I got black so they go with everything and I like that they aren’t just a regular pair of black pants. And I love that you can dress them up and dress them down

The pants are cute, and leather pants are a great staple but the structure of the pant was not very flattering on me. There was a large gap in the waist at the back of the pant but they fit everywhere else. If you are a person with more curves or hips I recommend the Babaton leather commander pants. I exchanged for those and they have a much better fit.

Usually wear a size 4 in aritzia bottoms but these are so tight I don’t know if I’ll even be able to wear them.

I’m usually a size 8 in all Aritzia tall pants however these pants were a bit tight on the hips and butt but fit well everywhere else . I loved them a lot and wish they had a pair for woman with a ‘curvy’ body type .

I bought these in tall as I’m not quite 5’8” but have long legs. I found them to fit slightly small as I’m almost always a size 6 but I needed an 8. The 8 fits well in the legs & bum, slightly small in waist. If I weren’t fairly equally proportioned these may not fit but they work perfectly for me. Have received lots of compliments on them!

I'm 5'8, weigh 130lbs with a small waist and wider hips and a bum. I usually wear a 4 if the pant has a stretchy waist but otherwise a 6 to get my hips in them. I ordered the black in a 6 tall and they fit amazing, I feel like hot stuff in them!!!!! Just ordered them in Epicurean brown. Extremely happy with the fit of these pants as they have stretch so I feel like I can move around but they are a little noisy when you walk.

I do love these pants, but the fit isn't perfect. The material is great! They are comfortable, and sleek - can be dressed up or dressed down. People have mentioned the gap in the back - they are right. I've been wearing mine with a belt and that takes care of it. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but I bought them at 50% off. I think had I paid full price I may have returned them in search of something better.

These fit me so oddly. Great almost everywhere, but then the zipper/button in front was off-center on my body. Maybe I got a defective pair? But still super disappointing.

This is my third try on these pants. Finally found a pair that fits my waist and hips but even though I ordered them in a "tall" length they hit at a very awkward length above my ankle. Its like the length gets shorter the smaller the size because im fairly certain my larger pair that didnt fit in the waist at all were full length. Just so dissapointing AGAIN - this is my 3rd time attempting these pants.

I actually have not worn the pants yet they have a wrinkle/line in the pants that I cannot get rid of

even for the petite size for below 5’0 its still long

Absolutely LOVE, just ordered my second pair. First pair in Cognac, I get compliments every single time I wear them. They do run small. I'm 5'7", 123 lbs, normally wear a size 2-4, I wear a size 8(!!) in these. Regular length looks fine. I had to order a few pairs to get it right but it was worth it and returns were super easy. Just ordered the navy (Admiral) today. These pants will match everything in your closet from super casual to dressy. Sneakers to heels.

Ordered up a size and still comically small - the measurements advertised are completely wrong.

These pants are so soft and fit really well. A little snug around the hips and butt, loser down the legs. Im happy I ordered a tall as it’s the perfect length.

aritzia needs to have an additional fit option like the abercrombie curve love fit (adds 2” to the hip area) to eliminate the massive waist gap that i get in all of their leather and cargo pants. it’s frustrating when a 00 fits my waist with a tolerable waist gap, but is incredibly tight on the thighs, but a 0 leads to a massive waist gap at the back. the straight cut from the waist to the hips without any additional room for those with larger hips and quads leads to a poor fit. for reference, i have a 24” waist and 32” hips.

I’m about 5ft 7in and I find most pants from aritzia run short for my legs. I ordered the tall and they were the perfect length for me! Good basic leather pant to have as a staple

The pants fit true to size and really soft and comfortable. I would recommend!

Material is nice but returned the pant due to gaping at the waist, would avoid if you have a smaller waist but still have a butt.

I really liked these pants and was excited to buy them onsale. I'm petite (5'0') and it hits right below the ankle, so it won't be ideal for anyone taller. The are really snug, but gave me a bit of a booty with the back pockets

The reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because it was really hot/not breathable around the crotch area....haha

I really like how this fits, but I found that the pants were slightly too long for me.

I love the Melina pants, I wear my black ones all the time so I just bought the brown. They are the perfect fit and don’t gap in the back! I am normally a 27 and I have one in a 4 and one in a 6 and they both fit great the 6 is just a little looser.

Would recommend. Like the higher waist

The colour is nice and I think the quality on the inside is really good, it’s hard to feel too warm while wearing them. However, the pants I received looked already work and stretched out on the thighs area and near the inside of the right leg. I think it be better to purchase elsewhere if available.

I actually tried these on in-store, (in multiple sizes) and talked myself into getting them because they were on sale... but I should have followed my better judgement and left them, because they just don't suit my body type at all - which is kind of dissapointing, for a pant that's said to be universally flattering. Granted, I have a narrow waist and much wider hips, so a lot of pants (especially low or mid-rise ones) don't fit me well, but I can usually count on high-rise pants to be fine. The Melina, however, fits poorly in a way I've never encountered before; the entire front seam, from my navel to below the crotch, is very stiff, and doesn't bend when I move my legs or sit. The sides and back, however, bend just fine - and as a result, the pants gap at the back, feel wrong when I'm moving around, and look unflattering. I tried going a size down, but those only fit less comfortably, and had exactly the same issues.

My waist is a few inches smaller than my hips and there was a huge gap at the back of the pants. Even a belt still looked odd so I returned them. Fits well in the thighs though so a smaller size wouldn't have worked.

The pants looked fine when they arrived; however when I tried them on, I realized the zipper+button were not in the middle of the pant - they were off center. Returned because of this

The pants are great but the waist is a little big so they need alterations but very cute.

Super tights on thighs and big on waist

I'm 5'5" and the regular length fit me just right but the shorter length was just more flattering on me and elongated my frame. The 4 fit just right (I wear a size 7 jean) and were snug on the hips and straight through the leg.

I’ve tried every fit of these pants but they’re always baggy around the waist and too snug to sit comfortably in the hips. Please make a Melina that’s curve/muscle friendly! For reference my waist is 27” and my hips are 38.5”.
