The design is baggy, I don’t like it

Quite tight around the thighs, definitely not loose shorts as advertised

My Joni jeans are my absolute favorite so no surprise these are my absolute fave shorts. Super comfy and flattering!

The fabric is as expected. The cut of the shorts on the other end, just weird. Tight in some areas and super loose in others. They look nothing like the pictures
I bought these short in my size and are inches way too big and i cant return them. Disappointment overall

Bought my usual size and a size up and neither fit. Not meant for anyone with curves. Barley got them over my thighs and the waist was then way too big.

I feel like I'm one of the very few people who liked these. These are going to be the shorts I'm wearing three times a week this summer. I'm even contemplating buying another one in a different wash.

I took one star off because didn't like how they taper at the ends. I had planned to get them hemmed to a normal short length and keep the original hem, but because of the taper it's going to cost me more than usual to do so. Still, it's not a dealbreaker for me because I get almost all my bottoms hemmed anyway and I think the sale price more than makes up for it.

For sizing reference, I have a 25" waist and a 34" hip. I wear a 24 in almost every Joni cut.

I got the black hemmed and light blue raw edge versions for a trip to Mexico a year ago. I already own two pairs of Denim Forum jeans, they're my most comfortable, flattering jean, so I assumed the shorts would be the same. I bought the size recommended for my proportions at the time (31) and found them to be quite snug. They gapped at the waist though, so I figured they'd stretch a little with some wear, but I was so wrong. I couldn't really wear them. The waist digs in creating muffin top and the thighs are uncomfortable. I've lost weight since last year and they're STILL too snug in the tummy with plenty of room at the back, but no muffin top. HOW SWAY?? Please have another look at the design to try to improve the fit!

“Loose long” these shorts get tighter as they get longer, it should be the other way around. They look so weird, it’s like cutting skinny jeans into shorts. The waist is to big and the bottom of the leg is to tight. I’m going to have to cut these shorts if I ever want to wear them. So disappointed. Do not buy!!

They fit both tight and loose in different areas. The waist “fits” but gapping in the rear.

these shorts are honestly awful and I do not recommend them. I have a pair of jeans from denim forum and am absolutely obsessed that's why I was inclined to buy these... and I am sad to say they do not match in sizing at all... and I'm an average sized girl and they are so tight on my quads its uncomfortable, as well the gapping in the back is a ridiculous amount VS. my jeans which fit perfectly.... make it make sense.

Loved these on a co-worker, so I bought them. I usually wear a 26, but I wanted a tighter fit. They flattened my butt out so bad! They were a super cute fit overall. But they’re made to fit loose, so just order them in your usual size!

Fit small. Had to size up 2 sizes to get them on and then made me look way bigger in the hips. Had to return

I got the hemmed version, not the raw edge version, and the thighs are pretty tight. The waist fits fine, but I find the hem on the thigh digs in when I sit down. Otherwise, they're great shorts and the perfect length for me. I'm 5'10" and a size 8-10 and I got a 29

Love these shorts as they aren’t too short. Love the high waist and length to just above my knees. Fit true to size.
