The Joni High Rise Loose 29L Super high-waisted, straight leg jeans

These jeans are your perfect 90s loose straight jeans. It's long, loose throughout the legs, looks really trendy with white chunky sneakers. The one thing I'd complain is that it's still roomy in the waist (I'm usually a 28 in Aritzia jeans and 27 in other brands) even though I sized down from what I normally would wear from Aritzia. But honestly, I don't mind it. All in all, a great pair of jeans :)

I love these jeans! I am 5'10" with an athletic build (big booty+thighs). I am usually a size 28 but was advised to size down in these so I ordered a size 27 in the 32L. They are a bit snug at first but I can button them all the way up and once I "warmed" them up, they moulded to my shape and fit like a glove. The denim is high quality and feels really expensive. I love the fit of these jeans. The height of the rise hits me perfectly on my waist and gives me a great shape around my hips. I love the loose fit but that the leg opening isn't too baggy. It's the perfect "loose" fit for me. They are tight where you want and loose where you want. I want to buy more washes but am limited by the length. Please make more washes in the 32L for us taller women!

Love the fit of these jeans! Would definitely recommend going down a size as they do fit slightly larger than the other Denim Forum I have.

I absolutely loved these jeans, but they weren’t right for my body type

If you're bigger in the thighs/butt, smaller in the waist these are the pants for you. 26L hits just above the ankle if you're shorter (I'm 5'2). Would've given 5 stars but the rips in the knees are very delicate and have already torn.

Beautiful colour, they are the perfect shade of denim, and pairs well with both white and the blue denim western shirts.

They’re definitely made big, i’m usually size 24-25 and I purchased the 23, but other than than I just love these, the length and fit are just what I was looking for!

I sized up based on my experience of other Denim Forum styles and found these fit pretty different than the Farrah and shorts I have and are much looser around the waist. Order TTS or even down. I’m keeping them as comfy pandemic jeans tho :)

Love this retro fit. Very flattering. I love the denim forum brand. I have 5 pair. I'm 140, athletic build, 28/29. These are 100% cotton, so I always size up.

I’m 5’5 and they are the perfect length. Hits right at ankle and looks cute rolled up. Found they run very large though. I have a 27 inch waist and ordered the 25. The 25 was still a bit big. I measured with measuring tape and the actual waist of the size 25 is 14” across which would make it 28 inches around! I think I would probably size down to a 24 if I were to repurchase.

I’m 5’5, 120 Lbs and usually a size 26. I read the reviews and a lot of people said to size down, which I did and the size 25, 29L fit perfectly. They’re super soft and comfy, and the quality is great so far. I’m so glad I found these jeans!

Best jeans I've ever tried. Waist is right above the belly button but not crushing my ribs. The loose/straight cut legs are very flattering and the button fly makes for a sleek look. I had to hem and tapered a little as I'm 5"2. The ripped knee is actually at my knee (always an issue in other stores). They fit way larger though and I had to down size by 2 sizes. It's a bit confusing as I'm usually a 26 or even a 27 in Levi's, but seem to be a 25 in most of Aritzia brand jeans. I had to get the smallest, a 23. In dress pants I'm usually a 2, and sometimes a 0. If you're any smaller they might be too large for you! But give them a try as they really are the best jeans. I have them in the ripped black and not ripped blue.

Order 1-2 sizes smaller - these relax substantially. The 29L was still a bit long on me (I’m 5’2) so I cut a couple inches off and like the look of the raw hem.

LOVE these jeans. I am normally a size 27 in aritzia jeans (For reference I am 27 in agolde jeans and 28 in most other brands ) but a size 26 in these jeans worked for me as I still like jeans to be tight on my butt / waist. Ive worn them about 6x now and they loosen a bit but dont sag, which is perfect, love the wash!

I am 5'6 and it hits right at the ankle, I do wish it was just an inch longer.

I love these jeans, fit is perfect around the waist and hips. They are super high rise and amazingly flattering, and the legs are perfectly relaxed. Inseam is perfect length, I am 5'8" and the 29 inseam was just right. These are such a staple, Denim Forum is amazing quality. SIZE DOWN!!! I sized down 1 size and they are great, slightly loose fit, for a more snug fit maybe could have gone down another.

Was not sure when I first got them. I had to get them shorten were too long . Once I wore them . I love them. Super comfortable. Material feels beautiful. True to size.

These were my fourth pair of Denim Forum jeans and the quality is unmatched by any other company. I usually wear a 28 in Denim Forum, but these were MASSIVE. I sized down to a 26, but I was also looking for a lifted look in the back. Overall, 10/10. Love these!

I've been on the hunt for a new pair of jeans for many months.
I was looking for a high-rise jean that would sit at my natural waist (just above my belly button) and a hem that would meet the top of my boots. The JONI is exactly what I've been looking for.

Great pair of jeans at a great price. The only thing I would change is where are the button fly is, it kind of bulges out a tiny bit. It’s not too noticeable and it doesn’t make these jeans unflattering, but the designers could make this slightly better if they fix that.

These jeans are I was looking for. It is first time to purchase jeans from Aritzia. When I looked at the size chart, my size is 30. I normally get jeans at a different store, size 29. I ordered 29 after I read reviews that they run smaller. They fit me perfectly. I love the style. They don't stretch much but I like to wear jeans tight so it is not a problem for me. Love it!!

These jeans are perfect, timeless, and flattering. I have wider hips and its so hard to find jeans that fit perfectly around my waist AND thighs. These jeans are the one! They don't have much give to them, but for sure will loosen up a little throughout the day. I am a true size, sometimes a 28, and rarely ever a 26. However I sized down to a 26 and the fit is perfect.

I typically take a 27 (Yoko and Lola) and the Joni's just didn't work for me in the thigh. 28 was way too big in the waist and 27 was too tight in the thigh area. I ended up with the Boyfriend loose in the 27 to achieve that slouchy look. Those were perfect! If you have a stronger thigh/booty area - go with the Boyfriends instead!

These have quickly become my new favorite jeans and a great dupe for a more expensive 90s fit. They're a true comfortable straight leg (I'm more pear shaped), and fit me nicely around the waist with no gaping. I purchased the 29" inseam and I'm very tempted to get the longer length version as well! I got true to size - I tried on the 26 and they were just too small for my butt. Definitely size up for a baggier fit!

Im 5'9.5" /150lbs - I got the 32L in size 26 (usually a 27) and they fit perfectly!! I struggle to find long jeans as a tall person and these are truly perfect.

Size down if you want them a bit more fitted in the waist/hips -
Keep your regular size if you want the slight baggy look.

I sized down as recommended by the reviews. Most of my jeans have some stretch and these are full denim so keep that in mind. When I got them I was afraid they were too tight after wearing them around the house a bit but after my first full day of wearing them out, they fit perfectly. A bit more room at the waist and the legs and butt had bagged out - not in a bad way but in the style intended with these jeans. I always want the highest rise in jeans and I was happy with these. Love the button fly as well.

i got the 26L inseam which is great for my petite stature, it hits right at the top of my foot. Super good quality but they fit a bit bigger so i recommend sizing down!

I ordered a 28 which is normally a good fit for me, but they were to big, then I order a 27 & still to big

If you're someone who has a small waist and wide hips/thick thighs, even in the slightest bit, these are the jeans for you! I 100% recommend sizing down. For me, sizing down fit my thighs/hips perfectly. The waist was still a tad big but I got it fixed and they they are the PERFECT jean for me! I will be buying these jeans in every colour.

I feel like I always have issues with jeans stretching out particularly on the waist area. And it is the most annoying thing when jeans fit perfect in the morning and by the afternoon they’re falling off, particularly if I’m sitting down a lot that day. I wore these jeans on a roadtrip with 6 hours of driving in a day, and they didn’t stretch! When I stood up they still fit perfectly. I’m obsessed

I'm 5'4, 120 pounds, medium build and these are bomb! I did size down from my regular size (I got a 25 and I usually go for 26 for a roomier fit, they both looked good but liked the snugger look) Perfect longer jean to go over sneakers so cute!

Definitely order a size down. They're super tight at the waist at first but after a few wears they fit perfectly! I also was nervous about the length because most jeans are long on me (I'm 5'2") but they're the perfect length. Now I want to order them in more washes.

The jeans are great quality however I did some research before purchasing and people were saying to size down when they arrived they were a little snug so I would say that they are true to size

This is my first pair of Denim Forum jeans and based on reviews I ordered size 24 and 25 to see which fit I liked more and ended up going with the 25 for a more relaxed look. Sizing was tricky with these as I wear a 26 in most denim brands. Both the 24 and 25 are a bit lose in the waist but the 24 were tighter on my thighs which wasn’t the look I was trying to achieve. I’m 5’3” and the length was great on me in both sizes.

Would have been 5 stars if it was friendly to non-athletic build. It fit perfectly in the waist and calf but I guess if you have a curvier figure it is not going to work for you. It's too bad because the fabric, length, and color were exactly what I was looking for. Going to attempt sizing up and getting the waist taken in instead.

Love the high rise on these and the perfect length. I’m a little taller with long legs so these fall at the perfect spot on my ankles! Originally ordered the 26 but had to size down to the 25.

I ordered these in the Dark Bleu N Stormy and fell in love with the fit of these jeans. As someone who loves the Agolde 90's jean, I was thrilled to have finally found a dupe at a much lower price point. I decided to order another pair in the same size but lighter colour - Picture This Bleu. When the jeans arrived, the jeans were extremely tight when trying them on which was concerning as the originals I had purchased were on the bigger side. I compared the two jeans and noticed that the waist and inseam was almost 3 inches smaller than the Dark Bleu N Stormy jeans I originally had purchased. Disappointed in the lack of consistency with Aritzia sizing - will think twice about purchasing Denim Forum online moving forward.

Love these jeans! Super high waisted. If you want a tight fit at the waist I would go 2 sizes down. Great full length jean on me and I’m 5”4!
