The reessential fabric wrinkles like crazy! And the wrinkles are so hard to remove. Other than that I love the colours and the thicker fabric for winter.
These are such good pants I have already bought multiple colours. I would say for someone how has hips it can be a bit tight there but overall everywhere else fits really nice. I find they do stretch in the hips a bit overtime. As someone who is 5'10 I thought I would need to order a longer length but the regular length fits perfectly!
I have multiple pairs of the effortless pants in 4 Tall and was so dismayed that when this pair arrived in the same size, the length had been reduced.
There's now a difference of only 1.5" between tall and regular size 4, and 33" is hardly a "tall" inseam (1" over average 32" denim inseams) - PLEASE ARITZIA, GIVE US AT LEAST A 34"!!!
I was so excited to finally have access to trousers that fit my slightly taller than average body - Unfortunately, I'll have to continue my search elsewhere.
I love the look of these pants however I’ve noticed recently they have been shorter and smaller than the older ones they used to sell, before changing the manufacturer. I had to size up from a 4 to a 6 so they can fit my length, which was disappointing for a tall girl (5’11-6ft), and they are bigger on me instead now.
I am normally an 8/M but I get size 10 for Aritzia bottoms that are not sweatpants because I have some belly, a butt and thicker thighs. Loveee the color Dark Olive but the inseam on these pants are very long. I am 5'8 and the Regular length goes to the floor for me so I will have to hem these because I usually wear flat shoes or shoes with very low heels.
Love these pants and have several pairs! The standard material is tall enough for me but got the thicker material and it just wasn’t quite as long. I’m 5’11 with roughly a 34” inseam
Size up, regular inseam measurements are inaccurate
Normally an 8 and the 10 fits perfect. Note that the regular inseam measurement of 30" shown on the site is off, I measured my size 10/regular length at 32" which was too long for me at 5'4". Will try the short length and see if that works better for me.
Love these pants but there is no more black? Black is always in the "core" collection, but it's not even listed as an option or showing when it's going to be available again. Hopefully there is an update...
I have about a 25 in waist but wider hips, am usually a 0-2, and am 5'8. I tried both sizes and they fit, but were definitely tight in the crotch/hips. Went up to 4 and got a comfy fit, but not like the models: they fit more high waisted, less baggy. Think I am going to try a 6 and see if I can hit that look. I definitely recommend sizing up if you want to get the look in the pictures.
These pants fit amazing once you figure out the sizing. They are very sliming and I like that they come in various length options. I recommend these. I’ll be purchasing more colors in this style.
I have had some purchases and returns trying to find my perfect pair but I finally just stopped being lazy and went in the store. 10 regular fits me well as a 5’7” person with a 32-33” waist, 38” hips and 30” inseam. I don’t plan to wear these with high heels.
So disappointed in how tiny the sizing has got. I have a pair of size 10 pants from 2 years ago that still fit like a charm. I recently purchased a size 16 and it did not fit. My body has not changed. Please make this more accessible!!
My waist is 25 inches and I got a size 4 petite since everyone said to size up. I tried them on and they are way too big, also were pretty long despite being petite size. Even though I have to exchange for a smaller size, they are good quality.
Lightweight and drapes well, but still has structure. I got the lightest shade and it’s not see through. The fabric has a tiny bit of give in the legs but no give at all in the waist, so order your true size as this will not stretch.
I am 5’9 140 pounds . I purchased the 6 tall and they are not even touching the ground. For the tall these pants should be longer. Material is good but I am very disappointed in the length. Will be returning
Waistline Measurement of Short & Regular Length are Different
I tried the size 6 regular length in store and it was too long for me being a 4’11 gal. The waistline was fine and wasn’t tight at all. I decided to order the short length thinking that it’s a better option for me. But when I tried the short length, the waistline measurement is tight compared to the regular length. I thought the only difference between them is the length of the pants, not the waistline. Aritzia, you should add the exact & true measurements of the item in the item description. And why is the waist measurement different for these pants? Otherwise, fabric & cut are nice.
I’m 5’11, 150 lb and purchased a 6 Long and 8 in Long. The 6 fit but way too short. The 8 was a bit more relaxed fit and BARELY works with flats for me. Please make an Extra long version for tall girls!
Love these. I got a 6 in Long ONLY because I like my pants super long. I’m 135 and 5’7. The quality is durable and the pleat stays which gives it that professional look.
I am 5’4” and I tried the regular version in store and it is way too long for me. Then I ordered the short version online thinking there should be no risk at all giving that the short version is advertised as being designed for someone below 5’3”. I was planning to pair these pants with a white sneaker but unfortunately that is not possible as I can’t wear them without a high heel （even with 5cm heels they are still too long…) This is ridiculous as I am not even that short…I can’t imagine someone shorter than me would fit. My suggestion is that if you are under 5’4”, make sure to try them in store for the short version to see if you like the length of these pants. However, ironically, most of the stores do not carry much short version pants so you might not be able to actually try them as I suggested. Aritzia really have to be more considerate of the shorter customers. If you are trying to do the short version, please do it right.
Nice grey tone, very good looking, nice fabric, but the waist was just too small, the fanny was incredibly baggy, and they were much, much too long, even though th size chart told me to order regular length
I have so many colours of this pant, but I find my most recent addition tighter in the crotch area. Its like the length of the high waist to the crotch isn't long enough? It's kind of like a mild wedgie, lol. Wondering if anyone else has this issue with the more recent versions. Aside from that, the colour, the style, the high waist and the length of the pant to the floor is perfection.
I'll start off by saying that these pants feel like great material. However, I found the fit to be really strange- the pleats in the front don't sit flat to the leg. I've seen these look great on many others but they just didn't work for me personally!
