The Effortless Pant™ - Crepette™

I love the feel of the material (very comfortable) and the look of these trousers is stylish, but not fussy. Unfortunately, they run small in the waist and I can't size up because then they would be too big everywhere else.

I have three pairs of these pants. I wear a size 8, and I’m 5’7” and 150 lbs. I love the crepette material. It pays well, is soft against the skin and lighter, but thick enough for colder weather. The regular are a bit long, but the short would be too short. Will need to take them up just a bit.

The Effortless pants never disappoint, I’ve been wearing these for over 2 years now and they look just as good as day 1! My only complaint is the sizing. I would say I have an average to small waist proportionate to my body, and the website recommends I get a size 4. However, I’ve found by trying on in-store that I’m actually a size 0! I also find that their “short” size isn’t quite short enough. I’m 5ft 4in with a 26in inseam for reference, and the website recommends this size for people between 5’0” and 5’2”. They do have a “shorter” size as well, but the colour selection is so limited compared to the other lengths. Despite the sizing challenges, these pants are worth getting them hemmed, they look amazing, and they’ll last for years!

I’m usually a 0 petite/short but after reading the reviews I bought the pants in two colors in the shortest style which was perfect. I can wear it with heels or sneakers. The material is thick and flowy compare to other brands like Reformation. What a great deal. Please add more colors in the shortest style.

Ordered the 4 and 6 originally and they both were too tight with no difference between sizes. I ordered the 8 next and again no difference between the 4 6 and 8! All the same waist size??? I have found although the quality is still fantastic the sizing is all over the place in pretty much all things Aritzia. It's frustrating. I wear a 26/27 denim. Strange fits at Aritzia and I have called any times to report this.

The pant is beautiful but runs small. I returned and will size up.

I ordered these pants in the short length and they kind of fit great lengthwise (I'm 5"4). I say "kind of" because one leg is about 1.5cm longer than the other one, and I have to get it hemmed (one leg touches the floor, and the other one does not). The matte pearl fabric is a gorgeous neutral color with a slight greige tint. It is not see-through (I wear nude underwear), but you can clearly see the pocket lines in the front and in the back, which I find a little disappointing. Even though they do not look very luxurious, I still love these pants, as they don't wrinkle and they drape beautifully. The cut is very flattering: the rise is very high and the pleats in the front perfectly hide my lower belly. The fabric is not very breathable, though. I haven't tried them in the winter yet, but they work quite well for spring and fall. Overall a great pair of pants.

I wear these to work and they are stylish and comfortable. I bought the shirt being 5’2” and I still had to have them hemmed to wear with flats. Overall, I would buy these again. Bought my usual size, a size 4, I’m 125lbs for reference.

As the name says effortless pants.

I purchased a size 4 Regular in the Effortless Pant in stores a few months ago, and although I had to get them hemmed (I'm 5'2", they didn't have Short in stock in the store), they fit perfectly and absolutely love them. So I wanted to buy them in another color, and I ordered a size 4 SHORT, and they are tight in the waist and are super long. I measured the inseam and they are 30" -- that's a REGULAR length, not petite. The size chart says that they would have an inseam of 28". What is the point of even offering a Short length if they aren't any different from the regular length? And also, match the size chart. This is so frustrating! Aritizia, fix your sizing for petites.

I ordered this pan in three different sizes. My usual size is a 4/6. I ordered this pan in four and six however, the four and six were too tight, and then I ordered the eight, which was too loose. I wish there was a size in between six and eight. Overall, I would not pay this much money don’t fit right

These pants are the most comfortable and most flattering fitted dress pants I’ve ever tried on. I was hesitant because of the price but investing in a good pair of dress pants for work/business conferences is priceless. I loved them so much I bought a second pair! I’m 5’4 170 lbs and the 10 fit perfect.

Be careful this is the 2nd pants that I try to press and the fabric stick it to the iron and leave it a mark there, buying a third one but it’s the last one…nothing on the instructions on how to press… this fabric is terrible

Fabric is nice, however the fit is small with no stretch. Typically a size 27 in denim forum jeans and ordered a size 6 and had to return.

These are very comfortable pants. Unfortunately mine are too large so will have to return.

I have these pants in a couple colors and love them, however I just got the "light birch" and had to return because they are so see through. Really disappointed in the fabric, especially when you're paying $130.

I have the effortless pants in two different colours now, and they are by far my go to pants for work. They’re comfortable, flattering and durable!

I’ve purchased these pants many times over the years in different colours and I always come back to them! They are the perfect pants to wear to work and outside of work. Other brands have similar styles but I find nothing beats the elevated look of these. I’m a 24 in denim forum jeans and I wear size 2 in these pants.

I have so many pairs. Love them! They fit your waist - no back gap - if you have a bum. No stretch but fit true to size. The wide leg flows beautifully not boxy. Dress them up or down.

Got the short length, I'm 5'3 and I still needed to have 3 inches hemmed off... so annoying

New fav pants hands down- they truly are effortless! I got them in closet staple black colour, they are beautiful craftsmanship and I was worried that my recommended size wouldn’t fit but they fit like a glove. Expensive but worth it, if you treat these right they will last you your lifetime. 11/10!

Fits perfectly, just enough room on the waist and legs

I'm starting my career as a teacher. I'm one of the younger staff members (26) and I wanted to look more professional. A sale rep told me about these pants, and I can't say how much I love these pants. They are so easy to wear and very comfortable. I'm definite temped to buy other colours and style (Winter and summer fabrics)

Was super excited to order these in tall but they were at least 3 inches too short. Tall needs to be AT LEAST 34" inseam please Aritzia. A generous hem also not a bad idea. Same for your sweat pants please. This wasn't even close.

Love the quality of these pants. I have worn them many times and they still look great! I did have to go up a size in these. I’m normally a size 10 but I found them to be tight at the waist (not a forgiving waistband) so I went with a size 12 instead and they sit much better!

Love the effortless line. I have shorts and pants in 2 lengths. Love the long option but wish there were as many colour options. Definitely run small though but if you size up they are amazing

I really do love these pants, the quality is great and they’ve held up well. However, I feel like the sizing is so off now. I’ve bought a few pairs over the last two years as I switched to an office role and they just keep getting smaller and smaller. I have measured the pants together and a 10, 12, 14 are all the same at the waist.

I ordered a size up so they hang a little bit on the waist. The short inseam is perfect for me at 5’2. I’m over the sales at Aritzia. I returned the light birch ones because they looked too yellow on my skin tone. But the white was perfect for that crisp summer look.

The light birch colour is totally see thru. You see the pockets in both the front and back which makes these look cheap. Unfortunate because the material is amazing.
I am 5’2 and ordered them in the short length and they still need to be hemmed a good 3”. Overall, very disappointed.

You can dress them up or down. Quality is great and will last for years to come

Great quality pant. Fits so well. I am 5'7" 140 athletic built. In most American sizes I wear a size 4, however i sized up to a 6 as aritzia fits tighter. The pants are high waisted so i didn't want that too tight on my stomach. I never wear pants with pockets in front as they typically flare out and make my hips look larger and frumpy. The cut on these is perfect and sleek. I got tons of complements every time i wear them. A great staple to add to your wardrobe.

If, like me, you googled photos of Diane Keaton before you started looking for the perfect black trouser, your search has ended here. These are just excellent in every way. I’m 5’7”, 150lbs and the regular length is perfect with a chunky loafer or flat. I’d get the tall if I wanted to wear them with heels.

These pants are perfect! It was so nice to slip them on and see a perfect fit and length. I bought short and I’m 5’3 but have short legs. Can’t wait to wear these to work! I live in Sydney and they’ll be perfect all year round. Will buy more colours next time I’m in Canada ❤️

The crepette fabric falls nicely and is easy to care for. Love the Light Birch colour for spring/summer.
These pants can be styled many different ways, from dressed up business-wear, to casual with sneakers and a baseball cap.
The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the inconsistent sizing. I have a size 6 black pair of Effortless pants I purchased in early 2023 (same Crepette fabric), that still fit me the same as they did when I bought them, and so I ordered the size 6 in the Light Birch, only to receive them and find they were way tighter through the waist and hips than my first pair. I exchanged for the size 8, and they fit great. So while I am a bit annoyed by the inconsistency of the sizing between two pairs of the same style of pant, I really do love them overall.

A friend recommended these pants to me and I ordered a 6 regular and they fit perfectly! I’m 5’3” for reference and with heels or a chunky sneaker, these fall perfectly just below my ankle. Would recommend!

I really wish this pant had worked for me. I did the size finder and bought the size 8 tall, as recommended. It was too small. The pleats poofed out on the size 10. Size 12 was way too large.

ordered these in Mocha Brown, and the fabric looked cheap and awful.

Fits beautifully, i wish there was no front pleats as i think it would be more flattering but I love it still! Constructed beautifully and feels like a quality piece. Worth the money, get it!

I usually purchase the regular length, but this time decided to purchase the tall length and it was the best decision. They fit perfect.

These should be a staple in every girls wardrobe. We should all have them in Light birch, black and grey. They are super stylish and comfy once you get the right size. I am 5'6" and weigh about 133lbs. I have more of an hourglass shape so I do have hips. I wear a size 28/6 in jeans pretty much all the time. I ended up buying a size 8 in these. I don't know if it's because of my shape that I had to size up, but nevertheless, I did. Funfact, I also bought the short version of these and I did NOT have to have these shortened and they are perfect with flats and heels, The length is PERFECT for me. I'm evenly proportioned I would say.

I ordered a pair of 0 tall in the admiral blue color and they are PERFECT fit like a dream and are the perfect length. I ordered the exact same size in the Cognac color and they are slightly tighter around the waist and about 1/2 inch shorter. For the price this is frustrating.
