Gorgeous color, great quality material, has a flatware wool-like feel without the need to dry clean. These fit just like most aritza pants. I'm a size 26-27 and typically wear 6 in aritzia. Shorter than most of the regular effortless I have. They just kiss the floor with no shoes, look great with flats or heels.
(Re)fined material is terrible, pilling like crazy
I have the Effortless Pants in Size 2 in Crepette material and it was great, so I decided to get another pair in (Re)fined material, since it's thicker and better for winter. With (Re)fined, I need to get size 4 instead, as somehow the length was shorter with this material.
My main complain is the (Re)fined material is so easy to pill. It says that it is machine washable, and I have been washing it for 3 times. Every time I use a garment bag to protect it. However, with regular wear, it is already pilling up! Especially around the waist area that it got rub against my shoulder handbag.
For $20 more than other material but perform so poorly, I am giving it a 2 star. Very disappointing. I wish Aritiza will send me another pair in any other material but just not (Re)fined!
I’m a BIG fan of the effortless pant and was excited for the heather grey to wear during the winter season. I really liked the fabric and colour. Unfortunately they didn’t have them in a longer inseam and I didn’t realize it when I ordered them online, so disappointing.
These are very nice cut style wise but too short. I'm not that tall 5"5" and they don't touch the ground with flats, looks dorky/short when paired with my chunky boots for work. Disappointed as the fit is nice/stylish. I'm returning.
The inseam of the refined fabric is a full 2 inches shorter than my regular length crepette effortless pants. The waist and hips are also a bit more snug. Very cute pants and love the pattern, but could do without the sizing irregularities.
I'm 5'8" tall and 125lbs and got my regular size 2. The fit at the waist is high enough to be comfortable but not restrictive. The look is great. My only complaint is that the length is not "floor grazing" as the description says. I will be taking it to the dry cleaner to let down the hem as much as possible. Unfortunately, this plaid design doesn't come with the longer length options. However, knowing all this, I will probably by other colours but I will just be prepared to add the cost of hemming to get it to my ideal length. These have the dressiness of a pant but the comfort of a jogger.
I’ve always enjoyed the effortless pant and I own several pairs. These plaid ones though might be my favourite. I always get compliments on them. These fit the same as the crepe style however I wear a short in the crepes but the regular is fine in these.
I owned two pairs of the same pant in navy and brown size 8. Black pant of size 8 is half an inch tighter in waist. Black pants size 10 is half an inch bigger so I couldn’t find the black pants in any type of effortless pants that would fit just like the rest of size 8. very disappointing.
