the effortless linen pant

I tried two pairs of the exact pant in different colors and found the sizing to be inconsistent, even though they both were a size 6. The light beige one ran small all over, especially in the waist. The blue pair fit beautifully, but I decided against the color. I returned both pairs but will try again in a different style.

I loved the color and how it draped but sadly it was too small for me ao i had to return. I will order again next time with the right size.

Love my effortless pants but these white linen ones are see-through :( you can see the lining of the pockets and you can see colored underwear through it

Fits great just need to go up a size. I’m a size Zero in all effortless pants except for this linen fabric pants. I ordered a size 2 for this and fits perfect! Amazing pants just need to size up. 😊

These pants run small - size up

Overall the pants are high quality and all that, but they do indeed fit at least a full size smaller than the way my other effortless pants in the same size do.

I’m a usual size 6 for effortless pants, but the one I got is a small 6 , it fits me really tight on waist

This is the fourth time I have purchased the effortless pants and not 1 pair has been accurately sized. I have a black pair in a size 8, so I ordered the linen material also in a size 8. My black pair is great and fit very comfortably. When I received the linen pair, I could hardly get them zipped up. When I lay them flat against my black pair they are easily an inch smaller in the waist. The difference in material should not dictate the size of the waist. The inconsistencies in Aritzia sizing is inexcusable and frustrating, not to mention the potential for this to have such a negative impact on body image and confidence.

These pants are amazing. These run a little smaller in comparison to the regular effortless pants though. I’m 5’1” and short is still too long.

The pants fit perfectly and exactly what I was looking for. I am just under 5'4 and ordered the short length in 00. Perfect length for me (wearing wedges or flats).

I didn’t heed the majority of reviews and ordered my usual Effortless Pant size (a 0). In the linen, they were MUCH smaller than my crepette pair (at least an inch smaller in the waist) and very tight in the front. Once I sized up to a 2, they fit perfectly in the waist, slightly baggier in the thighs. But for a summer pant I don’t mind that they’re looser. I guess time will tell on how well they are made though!

According to the size chart a person who is 5’4, (that’s me) can get the regular length. That was a lie lol. If you want to be able to wear flat shoes and are 5’5 and under, get short effortless pants!!!

I can often fit into a size 2 but bought a size 4 tall just in case. Though I could close the button and clasp around my waist, I couldn’t zip it all the way up — like it wasn’t even close. I’m guessing it’s because I have a butt? Not a very big one, but one regardless.

Also, the tall size was still way too short!! Barely reached my ankles.

Lastly, the fabric felt cheaper than I’d expect from Artizia.

I bought effortless pants in a size 4 in linen and crepette. The crepette (which tried on in store) fit perfectly! Sadly as another reviewer mentioned, the linen pants are a much smaller (around 2 inch!)! I am very disappointed and can not return or exchange sizes because they are a final sale item. So I do not know if I should reorder them a size up or try another size 4.

Horrible fit
Poor quality and just poor style

I owned two pairs of effortless pants before I bought these and felt they were just a little too short for me. I’m 5’6”-5’6 1/2 ish. I like my pants to hit below the ankle for a more relaxed look, I don’t prefer the tailored look of pants perfectly hitting the ankle. I bought these in tall and they are much better than the regular for me. If there’s a choice for tall or regular in Aritzia pants , I now always get the tall. I am a 25 in jeans and 0 in effortless/Melina’s.

Love the pants, fabric, fit is perfect. However, sizing is inconsistent and makes online shopping a gamble. Barely got my normal size 0-of which I have many pairs of Effortless linen and crepe pants, long and cropped- closed, pulled horribly in front and rear, pulled the pleats flat; returned. Becoming a not uncommon surprise-please better quality control.

Love the quality, fit and look of these. My daughters loved mine so they ordered some for themselves! I would go up one size. I normally wear a size 2 but needed size 4 in these. My daughters normally wear a size 0 and needed size 2.

Got the same size as the Regular Effortless Pants - fit perfectly. I'm on the shorter side and didn't want to wait for the ship date of the petite length ones, so I got them hemmed. Love wearing these, as they really flatter my body shape (straight hips, long torso, petite leg length).

Super soft, comfy, effortless

The tall size seems to not have adjusted the rise for taller people in order to be actually high rise for anyone over 5'6". Really, really wish Aritizia would include rise measurements on their website - because I bought these on sale I am now stuck with a pair of pants that doesn't actually fit. I was planning on getting these in multiple colors plus the carrot pants, but now I think I'll just leave angry rants on message boards. Very disappointed.

If you're tall, don't bother.

I loved how comfortable and sturdy this pant felt. It looked beautiful and expensive quality! However, the lining at the bottom came undone after two wears. This happened on both pant legs. The same thing happened to the linen Wilfred shorts. Seriously need to reconsider the construction of this pant.

You have to size up at least two sizes or more for the linen. I have a few pairs of effortless pants but this by far the smallest sizing I have seen. An immediate return.

The material is really pretty and I love the color but I suggest sizing up 2 sizes from your regular size.

I bought the crepe version and loved them and so immediately snagged the yellow linen pair when they went on sale. Unfortunately the quality is terrible and after washing the crepe pair twice and the linen pair once, the leg seam has come completely unraveled….

I love the Effortless pants. They fit great and look great. Only reason I deducted a star is because even the short/petite I still needed to get hemmed (I'm not teenie-tiny, I'm 5'4"...) on top of the already $150 price tag. Makes for an expensive pair of pants. Good thing they fit and look so nice lol

I got these pants and LOVED them. They are so cute and flattering. Unfortunately, they are built cheap and for the price not worth it. The stitching in the bottom of both legs fell out after one wear. So disappointed.

I have three pairs of these pants in linen. The first pair I purchased over a year ago in size 4 (my normal size). My 2nd pair I purchased end of 2021 and had to go up to a size 6. They fit a bit differently and not quite as great as the first but I still really liked them. I recently purchased a pair August 2022 and WOW what happened to my fave pants? I bought a size 6 but realized these were just too tight in the hips and returned for a size 8 (seriously?) and these were still a bit tight in the hips but loose in the waist. Overall they weren't cute at all. Blah. Such a bummer. (BTW - I am the same weight as I was when I bought the first pair so it's not me, it's Aritzia)

This runs small, and I had to return the original purchase to size up.

The piece is nice in quality but it’s not for women with hips as it doesn’t fit right in the proper places.

Overall, I like the pants; however, I am not happy with the quality of the stitching. The stitching for one of the pants legs fell off after one day of wear. The pants do not come with additional thread to stitch it back myself. Now every time i wear it, one of the pants legs would fall out, making it longer than the other. For something that is ~150, I really expect superior quality.

Pants are comfortable otherwise, but they do stretch out.

wish i didn’t like these as much as i did but they truly are the best. I’ve heard they run small but i’m 5ft exactly and ordered a regular length size 4 (my normal size) because short was out of stock. the waist was a little big and length of course too long but took them to the tailor and now they are perfect. just bought a short size 4 in black and they fit my waist perfect so i’d say they are true to size

Super cute pants! Great for the summer. The linen fabric definitely changes the look from the classic effortless pants. Really not stretchy - so for me they don’t fit as well.

These pants are everything! The quality is good and they are light weight. I am 5’1 and had to go with the regular version because the shirt was sold out in my size and color but I will just get it hemmed! It fits true to size! Not sure why there are a lot of mixed reviews but they’re super cute!

Wonderful material and fit. They feel nice even on a 90 degree summer day. I have long legs and find the standard length just right. Flattering fit for post-partum mom lower tummy. I have about a 27” waist and find the 2 the tiniest bit too loose at the waist but great everywhere else, and the 0 felt too tight, so I just need to get a tighter belt for the 2.

Returned. Long fit as regular sizing did in store. Do not recommend.

I was very disappointed with the quality, especially considering the price. I ordered the white and they were totally seethrough. They weren't lined so they're totally sheer and the stitching was messed up in one of the legs leaving a hole. They were slightly too small and the front of the pants was riding up. I would not recommend these.

I was confused by the reviews on these pants but I’m so happy I went with my gut and got them anyways. They have quickly become my absolute favorite item of clothing for summer. I got them in sienna red and the color is beautiful. On my body they fit perfectly at the waist with a very comfortable and beautiful flowy leg. I was curious to see if they would be too warm for real summer weather since they are a blend and not 100% linen, but I have been wearing them in 38 Celsius and they are perfect! I will definitely get them in at least one more color.

I love the effortless pant, and have two pairs of the suit pants version, so I felt safe ordering my usual size online. Nope! The linen one in the same size was too small on me to the point of not wearable, and still a bit too small on a friend of mine who usually wears a size down from me. Super disappointed, because I love this style of pant and the colour was lovely.

These are definitely worth the hype! I absolutely love them and they can be dressed up or down for any occasion work or play! They're also super flattering and very comfortable. My favorite pant from aritzia by far.

Aritzia pants have the weirdest, most unflattering fit & I can't figure out why. They balloon at the thighs then kind of taper off near the ankles in a weird way.

I knew they were a smaller fit but one size up doesn’t fit either… also I purchased short for my height and I would still need to have them hemmed.

I love my effortless linen pants! I bought the black length short and it fits perfectly! I hesitated at first and read the comments but I took the risk. And I wasn’t disappointed. The material is also very good. Will buy another colour once it’s available.

Fits slightly larger than expected, I have the size 6 in the normal effortless pants and these are a bit larger. I'm 5'10 and I got the long and they are super long, need to wear platforms so they don't hit the ground so might get them hemmed. Don't get the long unless you want the baggy look!

Ended up returning these as my regular size fit too small. Also the white was slightly too see through for what I was hoping for.
