I am a [petite size and this coat is beautiful and true to size, the chocolate color is beautiful and fits really well. Looking forward to buy another color. Nice fit to your body.

Love this beautiful coat. It runs a little big but I ordered my regular size as I wanted to wear sweaters underneath. NB winters are no joke and this is actually warm and stylish.

For reference i am 5”3 in tall usually size 6 and i ordered small size long coat…i tried using the coat with -31C outside and i got cold after staying outside for 5 minutes..i am impressed with quality of it very cute. The length is a bit longer but if you are wearing high heeled boots it will be perfect. The arm length fit perfect for asian people and not tight on my my shoulder and arms. i plan on purchasing the slouch coat soon…i just wish they would stay on producing more wool and cashmere blend coat…

This coat is tailored so I followed the size chart and ordered XL; too big for my broad shoulder US12 frame and returned to try a L. It has a great look, I love the slightly retro stitching on the collar which they removed for next year's coat. Classic style for curvy people and less trendy than the oversized slouch coats.

Review for those who are unsure about sizing. I am 5,1 and around 118lbs. 91cm hip, 65cm waist, 89cm chest. I would get S if it wasn’t sold out. So I got XS. It fits perfect as you can see in the photo but it’s definitely form fitting and I can’t wear a thick layer underneath but I can still wear a sweater. Size up if you want to wear bulky layers, but this coat is really thick and I can tell it will be warm. I removed a star for a random stain on the belt.

I loved the coat but way too small. I got a size small and could barely button it. Mind you I’m a small in tops, 34bust 27 waist, 38 hips. I will be returning it and hopefully a medium will fit best.

Great detail, love the neckline along with the fit. I bought the long version and so glad I did as it’s very classy looking. It is very narrow though through the hips.

Good quality and quick delivery.

I love the coat but had to return it because it was too small.

Pros - colour is beautiful, the fit is elegant and dresses up any outfit.
Cons - the material retains a bad smell (similar to wet wool) right out of the box without ever getting it wet, still has yet to disappear after multiple wears. Is not very warm (the Slouch and Cocoon are better priced for their warmth).

Love this coat. Got it in black and it looks super sleek. The collar is really stylish and warming. The long coat, even for someone petite like me was fine, was fine as I usually wear high heel boots with the coat. A couple of minor things - with something in your pocket (i.e., phone) the button placket doesn't lay flat because the material is somewhat stretchy and the collar button hole, made of elastic, is really hard to put on with cold fingers!

Absolutely love this coat! I got it in the burnt cedar brown color and it looks so chic. I’m 5’8 so the length is perfect. I’m between a S or M and went with a S for a more slim fit. The M felt to loose on the arms for me. Love that you can button it up to your neck on really cold days. My only concern is I’m not sure if it would be warm enough in super cold conditions (-4 degrees) like it states but we will see.

I ordered this coat in Bone thinking it would be a cream color as the pictures showed. I received the coat and it is a tan color much darker than it looks online. The sleeves are also very long. I’ll be returning it.

The fabric is heavy, thick enough to keep me warm in the winter. It is slim fit, I had to size up because I was going to wear a base layer and sweater underneath. 5’2”, 110lbs, waist 24, hips 36.5 and I chose S. The collar can also be like a turtleneck, or folded depending on the look you’re going for! Perfect when paired with my heeled blundstones too :)

Fabric is heavy. True to description slim fit, still fits but it is a little snug than what I typically prefer. Beautiful color and design

I was a little worried about the sizing because of the other reviews but I am very happy with the size and fit of what I got. I am 32ddd, 27 in W and 38 in Hip and the Medium fit perfect! Very slim and flattering. I love the chocolate brown and it is surprisingly much warmer than expected. Material was also very soft for wool. Overall very satisfied!

I’m usually a small/medium and ordered a medium. While it does fit nicely, wearing any bulkier sweater underneath makes it snug across the chest so i’ve ordered a large which I never do, and i’ll see it the style lends itself to being looser since it is belted:) Looks elegant and will be perfect for my upcoming trip to Paris!

I was a little hesitant buying this coat thinking it wouldn’t be able to withstand a week in Chicago winter, but I am so pleased to be wrong. I wore this coat with only a single layer underneath majority of the time and never felt cold. Also this coat can very easily be worn dressed up or dressed down. The coat length is a little longer than I’d typically wear but ended up being something I didn’t mind. 10/10 would recommend

It fits like it was made for me!

Looks nice. I like the length. It does fit smaller than usual. I’m a medium and ordered a medium- the button area spaces a little leaving a gap. I tried on the large and it was way too oversized so medium looked better

Fit is great, true to size, fabric is great quality, the length is amazing as well, a bit longer than the ever age coat and looks very classy.

This is literally the best coat I've ever owned, and I buy a new coat every year. Very warm and chic with the collar worn up and fastened. Extremely chic with the collar up and the coat worn open or tied at the waist. The collar can also be worn flat, which gives "rich aunty" vibes. You can't go wrong with this coat. It is a slim fit, so don't try to go with a smaller size, it won't button. Go for your true size. I plan on adding another color to my collection.

I have the Connor Long Coat (Saville) from last year when the wool brand being used was still with Bellandi. It was thick, fluffy, and luscious. Other wool coats by Aritzia were using MT wool which was less thick, but still great quality. This year is a completely different story. I purchased different colour (Dovetail Taupe) and the wool brand is changed to Milior. Now it feels like cheap papery felt. Please Aritzia, go back to the great quality wool fabrics your brand was once known for.

This coat is gorgeous, but the fit is super disappointing.
If you have any curves whatsoever this coat is unfortunately not for you.
I tried size small and it fit my shoulders and a little big in my arms but did not come close to fitting over my chest or hips. Then tried medium, HUGE In the shoulders huge in the arms and still no where near fit the rest of my body.

The shorter version is a TINY bit more forgiving as I could button the button that hit at my waist but it looked like it was going to burst so, its still not made for any curves.

I tried on a few other styles in the store also, but found none as nice as this coat and still ill fitting.
I'm so bummed out. This coat has been on my radar for a very long time.

Love the coat so much but does not fit well. Either fits my shoulders or fits my hips, not both. Very slim fitting and only for a very slim evenly proportioned person. Super bummed, have wanted this coat fit so long. It’s truly beautiful.

I tried this coat on in store when debating between the regular length Connor and this longer version. Like the regular length Connor coat, it is unfortunately really tight in the bust area. So if you are more ample in this area (like myself), your option is to either forego buttoning it (and wear it open, or only closing it with the belt), or sizing up - but in that case, sleeves/shoulders are oftentimes too large. I ended up getting the regular length Connor coat as I found it more practical, but aside from the concerns raised above, this coat is stunning, quality is immaculate.

I was eyeing this coat a year ago but it was consistently sold out. I finally found one this year. The quality is really nice. My only comment is that it fits a bit on the smaller side. The medium is snug on me. The tie back seems a bit shorter than I expected too. Try to buy this in-store so you can get the right size.

Nice coat for the price (Note: when I tried it on in the store I noticed the fabric was already showing signs of 'pilling' in the armpit area; I would not expect for higher-end garment). But worst of all, he cut is not at all forgiving on a 'pear' shaped figure (i.e. size 10/12 bottom with size 6/8 top) - the top half of the coat fit perfectly but when I buttoned all the way down, the buttons on the lower half pulled/gaped open. Aritzia, I wish you made this coat just a bit more "A-line" to fit a wider range of figures - I ended up having to purchase from a competing brand.

I ordered the sz small long Connor in burnt cedar. I’m 5’11”, 135lbs, small chest. It fits perfectly and looks great tied. Only issue - the sleeves are LONG! I have normal length arms for a tall girl, and I’d consider having the sleeves hemmed an inch or more. When I removed the wool tags from the sleeve, the wool seemed a little thin but hopefully that’s just the sleeves. Otherwise, the burnt cedar is chocolate brown (not green/brown like the photo). I wanted choc brown, so I love it overall.

May exchange for a medium….

Purchased dovetail grey based off of photos. However upon receiving its darker with mauve tint ? Definitely not what I was expecting. Will be exchanging for another colour.

I love this coat as a classic. I am shorter (5'3) with an hourglass shape and hesitated on sizes. The M would have been too long on my arms and slightly too wide on my figure, and the S is slightly too tight in certain section. Overall I chose the S as the better fit.

The length is great, even on a shorter person, my only comment would be that when going up or down stairs the heel of your foot makes slight contact with the bottom of the coat.

Otherwise, great quality, great fabric, great warmth; wear it open or closed, it's a classic look.

Trust the online sizing quiz! I usually wear a medium but I ordered a small, per recommendation of the quiz, and it fits great. For reference: I am 5’6”, 118Ibs, my shoulders are 15” across and my arm length from top of the shoulder to wrist is 23”. The color and fabric are beautiful and the construction is impeccable. This is one of my all time favorite coats. I highly recommend adding this classic piece to your wardrobe!

Unfortunately my online order didn't make it to my hands during the holidays, but I was able to try it on in-store. The coat itself is beautiful and well crafted, but much more suitable for the taller groups (I'm 5'3").

Used the size finder on the website, it was a great help. The coat fits me very well. It’s soft and not too heavy, very warm and cosy. I can wear a light sweater but I don’t think some thing bulky would be a good idea because then I might not be able to close the buttons comfortably.

I have the Connor Long in Saville and it's a beautiful coat. So warm - possibly too warm for the mild Toronto winter so far! I'm 5'7" and 120 lbs, and I'm between an XS and an S in Aritzia sizing usually. I went with the S to have a bit more room for bulky sweaters underneath and a longer sleeve length. My only complaint is that there wasn't a charcoal option in the long Connor coat this year - only for the mid-length. Bring back charcoal!

I’m usually a large or extra large depending. Big bust. The Large was not even close. Beautiful coat was sad to return it. Maybe next year they will have more sizes.
Add sizes pretty pleeeease!
