the connor coat

This coat looks really great. I like that it’s more tailored so I can wear it in more formal settings. The material feels like it’s good quality. I had to knock off a star because the neck portion was something I was really excited about but it’s a touch too long for me. I can still have the collar up but it’s not super comfortable on my neck. It’s probably designed with a taller woman in mind.

I ordered the coat online and wished for the best in sizing. It's a nice tapered style so the XS was a flattering fit. It looks good unbuttoned without losing its shape and the buttoned up collar gives an additional elegant look.

Fabric is nice, although parts of the jacket were a bit misshapen on arrival (neck area) and didn’t sit right on. Also found the sizing to be small on this one. I have the cocoon coat in the same colour and fabric in a small, and it fits fine, and keeps its shape (no wrinkling). The medium in this style was too small, would need a large to fit a sweater underneath. Returned and won’t be reordering this style.

The fit is good! The fabric doesn’t feel great and the color is a drab brown, no cedar warmth to it like the name suggests. There are many unnecessary seams down the arms, vertically down the back making it look cheaply pieced together with smaller pieces of fabric, it kills the overall tailored look. I’ve seen cheaper coats look more classy. Doesn’t look or feel particularly nice. I’ll be returning.

A weight change was my excuse to get another wool coat. I tried it on as soon as it came in the door and my husband literally called it a "boss jacket" lol. It's so luxe, I do feel like a badass in it. The high collar means I don't need to wear a scarf. I'm between M and L but decided in the L to have room for layers. Being 5'2", the mid length almost looks like I'm wearing the long, so I kind of wish they made these in petite sizes. Debating if I'll get it tailored for a more proportional look, but either way I love it!

The Conner coat is structured and very well made But the sizing is a bit off… I purchased a small and it fits a bit tight- unfortunately the medium would be too big… I love the colour and will keep it hectic can make it work- but sizing is definitely something to be aware of…

Get this coat while you can!! The material of the newer version of this coat looks very cheap, but this one is legitimately expertly tailored. I’m an XXS or XS in other Aritzia wool coats, but this one was a bit snug in XS. I kept it anyway as a S would have been too oversized. My only complaint is that the sleeves are about 2-3” too long. I will have to look into having them shortened. I’m 5’ and this hit at the knees on me.

5'6", 33-28-38, usually a size S in most items. I sized up to an M as I wanted room to layer with thicker sweaters. Hits right above the knee for me. Went for the Deep Taupe shade which is a cooler brown/grey shade that looks slightly olive green in some lighting, but is very flattering for my coloring (black hair, cool olive medium toned skin). It goes with a lot of colors, but is a bit more interesting than plain black (and for that, I already have a Slouch coat from ~2019-20 in the camel blend fabric). It is decently warm, especially buttoned up and with a merino or cashmere sweater layered underneath. It definitely makes me feel put together, but can be dressed down (jeans with sneakers or Chelsea boots). Check the composition of the coats this year, I find there are many with a lower percentage of natural fibers, and stick to the ones with the highest % of wool.

Stylish and well constructed coat! Love that its 94% wool and the inside is fully lined. The sleeves are a tad long for me but overall it's a great coat and I ended up purchasing another one in a different colour.

Coat is cute but I don’t live there fit. Had to return the medium I first bought and get a large. Even with a size up there’s not much extra room. Also the arms are quite long now with the larger size and it needs to be tailored. It’s a nice coat, but it could have been an amazing coat if not for the fit.

I did not except to get the coat with wrinkles. Also the sleeves were too long

Bought this in brown color in the shorter version and loved it so much I bought it in Navy in the longer version. Very well made and very modern cut. Fits true to size. This is not an oversized coat.

I have been on the lookout for a quality wool coat that doesn't break the bank for a long time. This ends my search. I like this coat and have got quite a few compliments already. I had tried both S and XS. Small looked a little oversized with sleeves longer than my liking. I decided for XS because in my region I don't have to wear multiple layers with this coat. If you are in colder area and need to layer up, you may need to size up.

Feels amazing with light layers to. The lining and outer shell are very durable. I’m 5’2 XS with an hourglass figure. It’s definitely worth it to size down so I don’t loose my shape.
It literally fits so perfect and cozy on my silhouette. It has light shoulder pads for structure.
For climate it’s nice in west North Carolina which I’m so thankful for, I’m sick of wearing oversized hoodies and sweaters they make me overheat but freeze at the same time.
The thing I love most from this garment is the arms. Almost every slim jacket is weird on the arms if you’re petite you know. But this is just perfect and the pockets are nice.
Only tiny complaint I have is if they could offer pockets on the inside jackets. I love to carry pocket books a pen and a knife to be prepared for anything.

Nice coat. The brown color selected was not as dynamic in person as it was in the pictures.

It is perfect size and quality. I gifted to my girlfriend and she is so so so happy with the rich camel colour . This colour is one of the best

Unfortunately returned the coat due the color. I was expecting a camel color (saville), but this was not that. Otherwise it fit great (5’3 110lbs) in 2XS. The coat is a timeless style that is sure to last for seasons.
I wish the right color was in stock!

So warm and stylish! I love it so much!. The only thing I don’t like is that the sleeves are long for my arms. But overall, I would highly recommend this!

I loved the look of this coat, ordered in xxs and XS because depending on fit I can go either way. I’m about 5’3, 115lbs for reference. The xxs was a bit too tight in the body and shoulders, couldn’t wear much more than a t-shirt underneath, but the sleeves were perfect length and fit. The XS fit perfect in the body but the shoulders and sleeves were too big and bulky. I would have kept the XS if it were more in the 200.00 price range but for the price I wanted a perfect fit. Returned both and making sue with my older Aritzia wool coat for another season, which I still love anyway. It’s xxs and fits really well with a thinner sweater so they’re all different. Have to try on to know!

The issue was with sleeves I tried medium size the over all fitting was little loose but sleeves were too big and I tried small size sleeves were fine but the fitting was little tight , I have pear shaped body. Otherwise fabric was really nice

The fabric is so rough and the jacket is so poorly made the strings are already falling apart.

I really like this coat and love that it keeps me warm up to -10C. It's definitely one that you can't wear a thick sweater underneath though, so stick to lighter layers. Overall, I'm happy with it!

It is rare to find a coat with so much attention given to the details in the fabrication. This is a quality garment and thank you for making the sleeves long enough for those of us with longer arms! There is room to layer with a sweater (which I expect to do in winter) and the sleeves are wide enough to do so comfortably. The fabric is beautiful in both color and weight. Classy, fun style that I fell in LOVE with as much as I did the long Cocoon coat in a Small. Design team par excellence, best quality products come from Canada. Please never compromise your standards!

This coat is advertised at being warm enough for -10 weather and I went outside (in Toronto, Canada) in 3 degrees Celsius and was absolutely freezing. To be fair I didn’t wear a sweater underneath but I did have on a long sleeve turtle neck… do with that what you will . Happy Purchasing!

Ordered this in black after trying to locate it in the dovetail taupe for quite some time. Still haven’t found it :( this coats is fitted and I took my usual xs. For reference I’m an xxs in the petite/short new cocoon coat and an xs in this coat.
The pretty lighter neutrals are harder to find in fitted petites

Fabric is really good as well as it’s style. Only thing which I don’t like is that it catch ao much lint that it takes forever to remove it.

Beautiful coat. Very fitted so be careful with sizing. I have a small waist but stronger glute “region” so a medium worked better than a small. If you’re less muscular/thin and normally wear a small, then stick with a small.

I would recommend this coat for the style and also as a fall/transitioning to winter coat but I live in Canada and was freezing in this at only -1 Celsius. Maybe a wool sweater underneath would help.

Very chic, stylish and warm enough for Boston wintry weather. I get a lot of compliments on it. I have super long limbs so what I love the most is the arm length on it. Covers down to just past my wrists which I love, making it super cozy during the windy weather. I like my clothes to fit slightly larger so this coat is perfection.

Ordered this coat in black. It’s both classy and flattering, not to mention warm - highly recommend!

I wanted to love the Connor coat but the fit is way off medium fit like a large the sleeve length 3inch too long.

Fits beautifully! It’s warm and comfortable, sleeves are a little too long so I might take them in. It reminds me a lot of the Max Mara coast but at a fraction of the price. Quality is impeccable. I like this length over the long. I’m 5’7 and the long looked like a robe

Tried on the small in store but was broad in the shoulders so got the xs online. Tailored fit and great length - 5’5 and hits above the knees.

This jacket was lovely at first, but only after 1 winter as my regular coat, the fabric has worn to black along seams, in armpit area, and where arms bend. It looks incredibly awful now. If I would have know it would wear like this I would have purchased a different colour. So disappointed. Very unacceptable at this price range. I have Pearce coat in Camel colour that I wore a previous winter and it did not wear like this at all, so I do not believe I am the problem. Please do not buy the light gray.

Such a stylish & warm coat (I've only worn it twice this fall) because we just randomly get dumped on with snow where I live in Northern Alberta. But I found it to be warm enough up until -10 as indicated. My favourite part about this coat is the way the front buttons around to cocoon your head keeping your neck warm. I regret not buying one of these sooner!

I just purchased my second Connor coat a few days ago in the Saville colour. It is truly a beautiful coat - feminine, with a classic and timeless cut. The colour is a nice, neutral camel which goes with almost anything. The unique collar and quality of the wool makes the coat stand out from others on the market. My only concern with this coat is that it does not have much room in the bust, so if you are busty like myself, you will either need to go up a size, or accept that it may be tough to fully button it up. Thankfully due to the belt, I am able to close the jacket without fully buttoning it, so have stuck with my normal size (M) as otherwise the sleeves/shoulders would be too large. In the future I would just hope that larger bust sizes can be taken into account in Aritzia jackets. Also, would love it if this jacket could be released in dark green or burgundy!

If youre short like me, 5 feet tall, then the Connor mid length would be a great fit for you! I did try the Connor long, and the arms are super long. The Connor mid and the Connor long have different fits to them, and the mid is much more suitable for a person of short stature.

The coat is so warm, and the color turned out exactly like the picture! I absolutely love it. I did size up a bit so I could fit bulky sweaters underneath it, so the only downside is the sleeves are a bit long on me.

Good material. Warm and nicely designed. I'm no giving it a 5 stars because the sleeves are a bit long.

What a beautiful coat! The fabric is so soft and feels luxurious. The cut is flattering. It seems warm enough for the winter. Might get a second one I’m a different colour.
