This is a crew-neck sweater with raglan sleeves and fully fashioned construction. It's made with Embrace MerinoTM — extra-fine 100% merino wool yarn coveted for its natural warmth and super soft feel. We source ours from a premium Italian mill. This version is constructed with a Jersey stitch for a soft drape and a smooth, flat feel.

  • Care: Keep a good thing going by giving this knitwear the care it deserves:
    • Prolong the life of your knitwear by washing less often. 
    • When needed, hand wash in cold water using mild detergent specially formulated for knitwear. Steer clear of fabric softeners. 
    • Rinse well after washing, but avoid ringing. Gently roll the garment in a towel to remove any excess water.
    • Reshape your garment while still damp, and dry on a flat surface.
    • Store your knitwear folded to prevent stretching. 
    • If pilling occurs, use a sweater comb or sweater stone to gently remove pills.

Immense Shrinkage
After the first wash, the shrinkage wasn’t noticeable since it was baggy to begin with. Although, after a while, the shirt became noticeably tighter. It went from being an oversized sweater to a tighter, cropped long sleeve.

Good quality soft sweater
I ordered one size up just in case it may shrink after the first wash a little bit. It's an oversize fit for me. I hand-washed it with wool/silk detergent and cold water. It didn't shrink at all except the openings of sleeve plackets shrunk just a little, which doesn't bother me at all. I am considering purchasing the other colour.

So disappointed it shrunk so much once washed
I LOVED this sweater when I bought it. What a waste of money though. I washed according to instructions laid flat to dry and it immediately shrunk to child’s size 10. I am second guessing my decision to shop here as +$100 for one time wear does not work for me.

Shrunk
This was my favourite sweater. Perfect fit and so soft and warm. Then I washed as instructed, it shrunk to 1/4 of the size. What a waste of money. Very disappointed in Aritzia

Shrunk immediately after washing
Bought this sweater and it fit perfectly! I washed it and like another review said it smelled terrible and shrunk about 2 sizes. I was really carefully and followed the washing instructions and I stretched it while wet to try to avoid shrinking but it didn’t help. Extremely disappointing because I loved this sweater pre-wash.

I would reconsider
I got this sweater and I loved it! It’s so soft, and fit so nice. Then I washed it. I followed the washing instructions. It shrunk, and smells AWFUL. I don’t understand what happened with this. I’m really sad because I loved this sweater and now I’m put money because I can’t wear it anymore and it was expensive.
