slip midi skirt

I wanted a looser fit so I sized up to an XL and it's perfect (sitting around my hips rather than my waistline). The color is amazing and the silk is very rich and feels great! I may need to buy another color for Spring!

Love this skirt! I suggest sizing down. I am typically a 6 in Wilfred and 27 in denim formum. I purchased a 6 in this skirt and it was way too big. I went for a size 2 and it was perfect. I was also going for a more slimming look instead of really loose and baggy.

I like the fabric weight. It provides a nice drape. It’s a nice soft gold tone.

I am between a size 2-4 usually, and I already had a size 2 of the navy blue version of this. I decided to purchase a 4 in another colour, as the waistband of the 2 was a littttle smaller. The 4 in this fits but I should've gone for the 2 again, as now there is a bit of extra fabric between the waistband and my bum, which creates a strange shape. Otherwise the skirt is beautiful and drapes nicely.

Very nice skirt. However, elastic is very tight. Be aware if you have "larger'" hips. A bit of a pain to put on.

You need this skirt in your life, perfect combination between chic and fun, got it in gloss green and I adore it, received a tone of compliments on it!!

So comfy and swishy and has become one of my favourite pieces. It’s super flattering and the top is an elastic that’s super comfortable.

Loved this skirt back when it had a side zipper. Now that it’s just a slip on I can’t get it over my butt. I am not someone with a large booty either, but I can hear the elastic stretch/tear every time I try to slip it on. It is not tight around the waist at all. Wish they didn’t take the zipper away. Otherwise I do still love the look of it.

Exactly was I was looking for. Elastic waist was perfect to slip on and off without struggling.

Came with a visible hole in the front. I have to return and then after placing replacement order I got an email after 2 days that it was sold out.

Fabulous skirt! The midnight blue is gorgeous. Can be dressed up or down. I had compliments from the first time I wore it.

I bought this in the Denude and Dewberry Purple colors. The former is a pretty, soft pink color that is flattering with my pale skin tone. The color almost gives me ballerina vibes. It is a bit see through but with the right undergarments this becomes a nonissue. It's a great skirt with a flattering, slightly sexy fit while still being work appropriate. The Dewberry Purple color was a bit too vibrant for me (most of my clothes are neutrals) but could be great for someone who is more adventurous with color. Hoping this washes nicely and is easy to care for as the fabric used doesn't justify the high price charged by Aritzia (you could get a 100% silk skirt for similar price)

I purchased this skirt in both navy and purple and both are gorgeous. The navy is my favourite - classic, muted but still vibrant. I wish the purple was a little darker (ex: more eggplant in shade) but it is still beautiful, and adds a nice pop of colour. The skirt arrived wrinkled however, so that was disappointing. As for sizing, it is true to size - size 8 fit me perfectly (a little tight to get over the hips, but perfect once pulled up). For reference I’m 5’6, 160 lb with average sized hips/butt. I wish the forest green was still in stock - would have purchased that in a heartbeat!

Quality was not up to par with other Aritzia clothing, especially for the price.

Really beautiful skirt and fits true to size. The waistband is stretchy enough that it is easy to get on. The denude is a little sheer but fine with nude underwear!

I ordered a size 16 and that is my usual size. The colour is beautiful, though a little bit more of a pale pink than I was expecting. It also arrived extremely wrinkly and I am a little worried about ironing it because of the material, so I will attempt to steam it.

A disappointing example of Aritzia’s declining quality over the last several years. Zipper closure replaced with elastic band. Uneven hem. Material looks cheap—not the light, silky, flowy, yet tailored look I was looking for. Save your money. There are many “dupes” at better price points out there.

Beautiful skirt but the static cling when worn with tights makes it pretty much impossible to wear for more than an hour without it wrapped around your legs - even with static guard. May be best to leave this for summer when you can wear it over bare legs, but even then the acetate fabric doesn’t quite flow away from your legs to create that beautiful fluid appearance shown on the model. Also if you want to take it on summer holiday the fabric wrinkles very easily and ironing isn’t enough it needs to be steamed by a fairly strong steamer, so make sure your hotel has those. Kindly note aritzia will not help with the static cling issue even though choosing to make a acetate skirt without thinking about that seems silly for a clothing brand, so you will have to just keep the skirt if the issue does come up.

I really love the way this skirt fits, it’s very flattering. I just have two things I don’t love. 1. I think the denude colour is a bit deceiving because it’s much more pink it real life than a champagne colour (still a nice colour though). 2. For a skirt that is almost $100 I wish it was double lined. I can see the black writing of the tag through the skirt, so you have to be conscious about what you are wearing underneath it.

Cute skirt! This skirt is great for short girls too! This color does show a lot though- panty lines and skin texture, so I recommend you wear a slip if necessary <3

The elastic waistband is super comfy and breathable. I toggle between 0 and 00 but got the 0 based on reviews that it can be tight - I found the 0 to be perfect. I want it in every color!

Waist band is stretchy and comfortable!

I bought this as part of my Christmas outfit. I love the shade of green and the cut of the skirt. It fits well and will be perfect for the holidays. My only call out is that I wish the fabric was slightly thicker.

Since the newer style doesn’t have the zipper anymore and it just has the elastic waistband, sizing is difficult for me because of my waist to hip ratio

I am happy with this purchase. I bought it for my daughter who is slim, tall and leggy and it looks fabulous on her. She has it in two colors.

Really pretty skirt but just hit at the wrong spot. Also look at the size guide because the sizing is different than most stores.

Love this skirt - however you have to wear a slip inside to give it structure. The fabric is thin with no lining.

Other than that it’s great. Will pair well with sweaters and tops for fall.

The navy color is awesome, ordered a size 14 first, out of fear that it would not pass through the hips (as some reviews were stating), but change to 12 in store as it was ok. Passes through the hips and the tulip effect at the bottom is présent. It was not with the size 14.

I honestly love this skirt. It does wrinkle a bit but it's not that noticeable and hasn't really bothered me when I wear it. I got my normal size and it fits perfectly around the waist (when I am able to go through the struggle to pull it up over my hips). I don't usually struggle with pulling up Aritzia dresses or skirts or have to size up because of my hips but I have considered getting this skirt in another color and choosing a bigger size so it doesn't feel like I'm going to rip it every time I pull it on.

I am size 27, ordered size 6- I am curve with bigger butt/hips and small waist, and it fits almost perfect, just slightly loose around the waist otherwise perfect. The color is absolutely stunning.

This skirt is a multi-purpose piece. Love the satin fabric with a tone on tone sweater. Monotone dressing is the new colour clocking. These skirts are ideal for achieving this look. Comfortable,
yet sophisticated look.

When I saw this skirt in Fen Green I knew I needed to have it! The color is just strikingly beautiful...perfect for fall! This skirt is so versatile and I know I will get a lot of wear all year round. You can pair it with boots, sandals, pumps, even sneakers. I do think this is a staple piece for any woman's wardrobe. In terms of the price, I do think it's a little bit too expensive but I felt that the quality was better than other slip skirts I have seen. Also, the fabric naturally looks a bit wrinkled but that's just how it is. I found the fit true to size. I am usually a small/size 4 and the size 4 fit perfect. I have a small waist and a bigger butt so it did feel a bit tight to pull up. I had to wiggle around to get it over my hips but once its on, it fits perfect!

Seems like I have the same experience as the reviewer below me! My hips are large and my waist is small, so if you have big hips, glutes, or thighs then size up, the elastic waist will be fine for your waist line. I have Aritzia bottoms ranging from size 2-6 and bought this in a 6. Couldn’t pass up on the fern green, gorgeous.

I usually run between a size 0 and a size 2, but I wanted to make sure this skirt fit well, not loose. I’m glad I listened to one of the other reviews that said they put the skirt on through the top of their head. I did the same cause it wouldn’t go up my hips, and it fits exactly like I want it to.

I'm a 28 waist but my hips are closer to 40. Highly recommend choosing your size off of hips rather than waist. I love the Fen Green color and know that I'll grab this skirt often.
