phase trench coat

This texture of this coat is so nice and I love the style. But is so upsetting that it runs so massive ! I wish they make this in a smaller size. I need a xxxxs in particular. And would love to rock this style if is smaller.

I ordered this and wear it with dressy or casual. Everyone gives me compliments. I love it dressed down with a track suit. It’s fabulous dressed up with a skirt. Fits large. I’m typically LG/MED but I’m wearing SM and it still fits loose. 10/10

Like another reviewer stated it does wrinkly easily but that’s what happens with linen anyway. It does run extremely large. It is meant to be oversized but you could definitely size down 1-2 sizes. I was able to try this on in the store and sized down to medium even though I’m normally a large. A small may have worked too. It’s not meant to keep you warm when the fabric is really meant to keep you cool and breathable. Do I think it’s a bit overpriced, yes, even Anthro and Nordstrom have several that are less expensive but I like the way this one hangs and flows. I like the fact I could wear sweats or a dress with it and it’s not stiff. All in all it’s a very nice trench and meant for layering not warmth.

I bought this coat because I loved the look. But there are a few things that you need to know. First, it is very oversized. I wear a size 6-8 or small to medium.(5’5” 130lbs) I got the 2x small and it is still oversized on me, but acceptable. Second, it wrinkles easily. I purchased in store and the sales associate wrapped it up in tissue paper and bagged it. That was a mistake. When I opened it at home it was so wrinkled! This is not a practical feature for a coat. If you sit in a vehicle, or need to pack it for travel it will look awful on arrival. Third, it is very thin. It is just the linen blend layer. The lining is only around the shoulder area and in the sleeves. This makes the coat see through and not very functional as a jacket for warmth. For the price it should have full lining. Bottom line, it’s pretty. But based on a practical, functional, and construction level, look for another coat. I will be returning mine.

Ordered 2XS and it was still massive, not in a cute oversized way a drowiing type of way.
