It's knit RePlay Wool — responsibly sourced extra-fine merino wool, recycled nylon and organic cotton yarn that’s naturally warm with a soft feel. This version is constructed using our Chunky Rib stitch with broad, uniform columns for comfortable widthwise stretch and a cozy texture.

Disappointed with the quality for the price
I love the way this sweater feels, but I was quite disappointed with the quality of the wool/cotton/nylon blend. The day I got it, it started pilling. And not just a little, the undersides of the sleeves and sides of the sweater were covered by the end of the first day. If you don't mind using a fabric shaver daily, it's a very cozy sweater. But for the price, I expected more.

Looks great but scratchy
The color I got is a really nice deep green but the material scratches my neck and leaves it red and irritated if I don't have a higher collared shirt underneath. In general it isn't as comfortable as I had hoped.

Not worth the $$$
Ordered my usual size l and it was way too big even given the oversized fit so sized down to medium which fit great but still had the oversized look. Followed washing instructions exactly and the sweater still shrunk tremendously, for a sweater at this price it should not shrink when properly washed.

I love the Peggy sweaters in all their iterations because they never pull or pill. This one is definitely a thicker knit than my last Peggy from a few seasons back. I sized down and it still has a nice oversized fit, with good drape for a knit.

Peggy sweater
I love this sweater! It is the perfect crew style sweater. Last year I sized up from my usual medium but it stretched out quite a lot so this year I got a medium and it relaxed into the perfect slouchy knit while still keeping shape. My only issue is if you are sensitive to wool it is a little itchy and the pilling is pretty bad. I’ve worn it maybe four times and it’s already getting quite pulled and speaking from my other Peggy sweater that is very very pilled I’m expecting this one to do the same. Still love her tho.
