only turtleneck

Super soft fabric. Not too thick. Good as a layer under a sweater. Ordered a size up because I don’t like when the neck is too tight.

Comfortable turtleneck, however, I wish it was a bit thicker so the outline of my bra did not show through.

I want a warm and thick sweater but this want is very thin. Also order in XS which is my usual size but it runs small. I will return it

I ordered one for myself and one for my daughter in out standard sizes- both too tight- but made well- love the ribbing.

Perfect staple to add to the wardrobe. Fits me perfectly, not too tight or loose and the neck is the right length where it doesnt have to fold over, it just sits perfectly as is! Also isnt see through at all or shiny in the black colour, just good quality fabric!

Really nice shirt and great colour. I am a bit in between the sizes for this shirt so I went smaller but the neck feels a bit tight. Either way, really nice shirt

fits smaller than other Aritzia turtlenecks, different fabric and no stretch.

The new material does not fit as well and is cheaper in quality. It would be great if they brought the old one back, this item is a staple.

Bad quality! Returned

I have the Wilfred only turtleneck in two colours (purchased last year). I love them, they are so comfortable. I purchased this item on sale (50% off) and wasn’t worried because I thought I already had the item in two colours and knew how it fit. It is not the same top. It’s uncomfortable and scratchy and tight. The top is single lined and see through except for the turtleneck which is double lined, extremely tight and high. I have a small neck - 12 inches - and it was so tight I couldn’t breathe. Awful. I’m not able to return or exchange because it was 50% which feels criminal when it’s the advertised as the same top but is very much not the same top.

I loved the burnt orange looking colour on the model but was sooo disappointed when I received this as it really is an off-putting brown colour. It’s also not the turtleneck I thought it was — I have one that I love but I didn’t know which one it is as the tags on the clothes themselves do not indicate the style name (please change that Aritzia!). These both have a ribbed texture, hence my mistake, but this was is not nearly as subtle of a ribbing nor is it as soft. It also fits small. I have a small in the other one (still haven’t figured out which that is) and the small is perfect - not too tight like this one is. I also find the fabric on this cool, and definitely not cozy soft. Kudos for using sustainable process for production.

New material is terrible. Not comfortable

When I received it I wasn’t sure but I actually prefer the new version of the turtleneck! Way more structured.

I have multiple colors in the Wilfred only turtleneck and decided to purchase more colors this year. I was disappointed to find out that the material is different and the fit is so tight! The new ribbing is wider and looks cheap. I have xs's in the old tops and my new one in small barely fits. Please bring back the old version!!!!!

I have so many of these in the old version, in different colors, cropped/full length. This year, I realized I don’t have a white full length and ordered one. Then this came, omg the sleeves are way too loose and looks so cheap. Please bring the old version back!

This is very different from the Only Turtleneck tops I've purchased last year. This new Only Turtleneck is too tight on the shoulders and neck. Fabric is very stiff as well. I returned it unfortunately.

Great staple and quality material

Different from previous reviewers, I actually prefer this latest version because the neck is more structured and stands up better. I love the cucamelon color!! My only request is to make a flatlock seam where the neck connects to the body of the shirt. I am 5'5", 120 lbs, 36b, wear Medium in the older version, as well as this new version. Medium is fitted on me.

This is nothing like the original only turtleneck where it had 95% modal and was way softer. This one felt cheaper and was so incredibly tight on the neck I felt choked even though I sized up :( so disappointed cause I love the original one.

Love my black turtle neck so was surprised when I ordered a white and it was a different material. More slinky than stretchy if that makes sense

I purchased a Wilfred about 2 or 3 years ago and thought it was the same….the material feels fake and not soft like the previous one I have….it also had a much higher turtleneck height which is what I did not want. The fit was too tight because the material is not the same as the old ones. Please get the old material back that was soft and comfortable. I had to send both back.

So sad to see they've changed the fabric on these - they were my absolute favourite turtleneck before. The new fabric is extremely stiff (nothing like the old one that was warm and soft without being too thick) the neck part is also very tight. You can also see all the lines in this fabric which makes it look cheap in my opinion, almost looks like athletic-type fabric. Please change the name on this one if you're going to change the fabric to something this bad. Will be returning this top.

I love the new ribbed fabric a lot but the shoulders are way too narrow & I don’t even have broad shoulders. I exchanged this for the compel turtleneck instead. I really wanted to love this turtleneck but the extremely narrow shoulders can’t be overlooked. Besides the shoulders the fit was perfect in my usual size.

It is a bit more tight around the neck than I’m used to. It’s a sliming turtleneck so maybe it is worth it to size up but it’s not tight everywhere else on my body, just the neck.

This is nothing like the old ONLY turtleneck. It’s thick and awkward… RIP to the perfect turtleneck.

Five stars for the fit, material quality and comfort. Love the high turtleneck design!

Aritzia, what have you done??
After purchasing 4 Only turtlenecks in 2021, I was looking forward to what color options would be available for 2022/23.
This is no longer the same top. It’s not even close to the same material, or level of comfort. This new top should have a completely different name. I bought two of them in Medium, same size as my other 4 Only turtlenecks. 32DD, 26” waist. I size up from my usual Small because I have very square shoulders.
This new material digs into my armpits, thicker, but not in a complimentary way. If you are at all familiar with the original, you know what I mean. The shoulders are too narrow now, even in a Medium. The NEW Only feels like a $25 top from a fast fashion store.
Returned them both, and will not repurchase.
I loved the original, please bring it back.

I own the only turtleneck in probably 10+ colors, but in the older fabric, which has 95% modal. That fabric is SO MUCH SOFTER. The fit is so much better. Literally the perfect fabric for fall. This new fabric sucks. I'm not sure why they didn't make it in the softer and older fabric, because as I said, it is far superior to this new one.

I got this turtleneck for work. I love the fit. It looks classy and well made. It’s comfortable. I love the length. Not too long and not to short. Im looking forward to wearing this for cooler weather.
