only ruched slip dress

I had originally bought the dress in black a couple years ago and absolutely loved everything about the dress-- from the fabric to the fit, I received many compliments for it. Recently, I bought the dress in the baby blue and was absolutely, horrendously disappointed. The fabric was SO MUCH THINNER. The black dress feels luxurious, meanwhile the baby blue seems to be some sort of knock off version with cheap fabric that wrinkles with just a touch. As soon as I pulled the dress out of the package, it was unlike anything I've ever seen before with the amount of wrinkles that it had. I was shocked. From such a respectable brand and for the same price as the black dress, I expected much better. Wilfred/Aritzia clearly appears to be another brand that has come to prioritize profit over quality.

I’m a fan of the Allusion camisole and decided to try the Only Ruched Slip dress because it looked like a similar fit. I fell in love as soon as I put it on. It does require steaming but looks so classy work long or sexy when short. I also wore it with a skinny belt to accentuate the waist.

Quality of the dress was great, but the straps were too wide apart and the cowl neckline became more square. Unflattering for body types with wider shoulders.

It’s pretty darn big, looked as if I was wearing a trash bag. I do love the school and style of the dress just too big.

Definitely need to iron

I ended up liking this dress a lot more than I thought I would. I am 5'6" / 163 LBS / 36C and got a size Large for reference. It fits perfectly and is a slim silhouette but still flattering! I don't have any issues with not wearing a bra with this dress and I don't find the cowl neckline too low like some reviews have said. I also think the fabric is very nice, it's light and airy without being see-through. I purchased for a wedding, but I could see myself dressing this down with flat sandals and a cardigan for fall or more casual settings. Would recommend!

Amazing quality!!! I bought this in black for my birthday and loved it. Now that I saw a hot pink on sale I had to buy it. Makes you look amazing and not too tight but sexy. If you want it shorter and tighter I recommend sizing down but if you want it to drape on you keep your size. Either way Get it!!!

I own the same dress in a blue and it’s 100% different than the fitting, fabric quality and even the ruching strings are longer where as the pink dress in this style is shorter thinner material

The dress is stunning and fits true to size. I am usually an xs in Aritzia dresses and the xs fit perfectly. My only complaint is the fabric of the dress. It's very delicate so even something as simple as steam ironing it can mess it up (speaking from experience).

It’s perfect. Fits like a gem. I’m 5’3 and like 94 pounds so since I’m so small it’s hard to find a perfectly fitting dress but this ones perfectttt. U can adjust the straps and length of the dress and it’s so elegant.

Fabric is a bit light / feels a bit cheap and is shorter than expected

I’m 120lbs and 5’3. I got a size small and it fit like a charm. Length can go to your knees fully extended.

The fabric is so cheap looking. The dress is not properly proportional at all. It is way too high cut in the armpit area but if you size any bigger your entire chest is hanging out. Too much fabric throughout the mid section as well. Really disappointed

I was looking for a dress for a party and let me tell you my dress was a sensation and un the pictures it looked amazing! But be careful can be a bit too much cleavage

Love the material of it, and that you can make it shorter or longer by tying the sides, makes it a perfect dress for any occasion.

I ordered this dress for a semi-formal prom and it was absolutely perfect. It's so easy to dress up and make it heels once you've adjusted the length. I got it in the navy and it was even so easy to match a mask with it. I know i will totally be wearing this dress again to the occasions

I'm 5'1" and half, 97 lbs and I got the XXS in pistachio green, and I love the fit and color! I was afraid it'll be too big or too long, but it wasn't. The strings for the bottom of the dress allows you to control how short it is so it works for my petite frame. I'm also a 32A, and I had no problem with the bust area. Just got to find a good strapless bra to wear it with :)

Really cute dress and I find it very flattering. However, the straps of the dress don’t feel very supportive and if you have a larger chest, I found the bust area to be a little tight. It’s still a nice dress regardless and I like that the length is adjustable because it’s ruched.

Pretty dress - just wish the fabric wasn’t so wrinkly. Will need dry cleaning before I wear it - perhaps due to poor shipping and handling.

The dress is good overall, it’s fits well and the material is very nice. The only downfall is the straps. They fit very wide and sit awkwardly on the shoulders.

I thought the overall fit was great. I ordered a large and it fits my body comfortably but is a little tight over the chest. I wear a D cup and it does fit but the straps are kind of awkward with the placement of the neckline. I wish I could make the top XL and the bottom size L.

I bought a second colour because I like wearing it so much; it’s kind of feels like you’re naked but more comfortable

Great dress overall! Can look really elegant or sexy depending on how you style it. I found it to be slightly large on me but nothing serious, so maybe size down. Do be aware that it's slightly transparent if you order a light colour (I got it in white), but if you wear nude underwear it will be fine and not noticeable at all.

Ordered hi dress for my bday get together super cute, soft on the skin but gets wrinkled very easily. You will need to get it steamed.

I am small chested and the dress hangs really low in the chest area so you could see everything. I would suggest wearing a bralette with it.

This dress is so comfortable and makes me feel so sexy! It's really soft great quality, but it does run large! I bought it in an L (which I usually am) but it was really loose everywhere so I got an M instead which fits great.

I love this dress! I have it in two colours and it can be worn casually or dressed up. Wearing a bra with it is pretty tricky though...

I love this dress it is not too short and fits great! I gives you an hourglass shape but there is room in case you eat too much at dinner lol!

Gorgeous dress, fits like a glove. If you have a smaller chest I would size down because it can look very loose otherwise. I have a large chest and found the large to be big around my petite body so I got a medium. It’s beautiful and I love ruching it up to make it shorter on my frame and I think it’s a dress you can wear a lot depending on the colour you pick! I want it in black next time but I got the rosegold shade and i’m obsessed.

I fell in love with the color palette and the ruching of this dress so I ordered a XS in pistchio green after talking with an Aritzia style specialist (I am typically a size 0-2 and am 5'2 110lbs). The dress was HUGE. It looked like a wrinkled sack on me! The cowl neck went halfway down my boobs no matter how I tried to rearrange it - I am fairly small chested (32C to 34C) but maybe the length from my shoulders to my chest is abnormally short but it definitely didn't work. I tried an XXS in store and while it was less sack-like, the same problem with the cowl neck was there. Sadly this style didn't work for my figure! Gorgeous dress on these tall models though!

Its, so sexy, and so easy to dress down with a pair of chucks or Van's just the perfect dress!!! Did size down after reading some of the other reviews, usually I'm an XS, went to XXS and it fits like a glove.

This dress is gorgeously flattering. I’m usually a S but I ordered XS and it fits so well. The fabric drapes in all the right places. The ruching also makes it like four dresses in one from short, midi, long, and short on one leg long on the other. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that, this is my second time ordering this dress, and both times the colour I ordered appears darker than in the photo.

So comfy, very flattering. I’m 5’10 and about 150Ibs, ordered a small. It fits perfectly (perhaps a little tight in the chest, but I’m a 32DD, so that’s normal for me). I got the navy and the colour is stunning, love the adjustable length of the ruching. It is a little pricey, but the quality is worth it!

I like it, it is true to size but way to over priced. I also wish the waist was tighter.
