new signature blazer

This blazer is absolutely stunning, and has such a flattering shape. It’s perfect because it’s long enough that it’s formal and it’s fitted to hug your figure while still looking professional. I’m so happy I was able to order it before it sold out. I hope they bring it back in other materials!

Absolutely stunning fit. I actually sized up in this and I’m glad I did. I usually wear a 2 and the 4 fit my shoulders better. The sleeves are slightly longer than my other blazers. Keep that in mind if you have shorter arms. Overall, wonderful piece.

Belle coupe, belle qualité, beau tissu

I had the original Signature Blazer in a 0 and bought this (also in a 0) when it was released to compare. This one is supposed to be a more structured fit than the original, but it fits a bit larger from the waist up for some reason. Specifically, I find that there is too much fabric in the underarm area and the shoulder pads are a bit more dramatic than the original. I think that's what's supposed to help give the effect of a tailored waist but it just didn't work on my frame. For someone who has a balanced shoulder/hip ratio, this gave me too much volume on top even though I loved the waist accentuation. Below the waist fits very similar to the original (although I didn't open the vent), so the hip area didn't get any extra volume to balance what was going on on top- which I find odd because it results in an almost triangular shape, if that makes sense. Also, the sleeves were about a half inch longer than the original (hit at the first set of knuckles), which was unnecessary because the sleeves of the original were already long (hit slightly after the first thumb knuckle). The length of this one as a whole was only a smidge longer than the original. I found this too big and a bit masculine for my preferences (not that masculinity is a bad thing!) and I returned it because the original was more feminine/flattering on me. The quality is definitely there, though- in my opinion, this is one of the more substantial feeling pieces in the Crepette fabric and all of the stitching was incredibly neat. If you're looking for a dramatic shoulder and longer sleeves but also a tailored waist and slim fit on the bottom, this one might be for you!
